Terrible Customer Service

Company installed panels end of 2019. 2 Major issues of which one has been fixed since. The conduit through the eave was clearly not flashed properly and was water staining. They also did not install pigeon guards or even offer these as an option. Pigeons have been nesting there now. Wife called about these issues. They did send someone out eventually to fix the leak at eave, but said they would call back about installing pigeon guards, 6 months ago. No call back and now when trying to contact them at their toll free number the answering service auto disconnects. Not sure how I would even handle any potential warranty type issues with these people. The pigeon problem has become bad and I will need to seek help with it elsewhere I am afraid as I would like to make sure no damage occurs to the panels while dealing the pigeons. Terrible customer service. There are a lot of solar companies. I would recommend you go elsewhere.

WORST COMPANY EVER

WORST COMPANY EVER! Everything started out great then came installation time. There was a issue with the my zip code. Empire was having problems getting it fixed. After I sent the 2nd bill, I made a phone cal and got it fixed in 5 min. We had a completion date of April 2020. This was mid may, but I went forward with installation. After installation, empire would not return my calls (this was a reoccurring problem) or I would be on hold for 1 1/2 hrs. trying to talk to someone. 4th of July I get another project supervisor who finally contacts me back saying the zip code was wrong. I said no, that has been corrected. She stated I had to call power company. I did and was informed that it was corrected back in may. I told supervisor this and she said that she had a email saying it was wrong and sent it to me. It was dated back in may when I got it corrected. They finally realized their mistake and said they was moving forward with the inspection. That finally happen beginning of aug. which the inspector failed it. When I started this cluster, I asked them when my 1st payment would be due, They told me I would be generating solar 1 to 2 months before my first bill is due. First bill was paid by me mid of aug and still not generating solar. Now I can get anyone to call me back nor answer the phone. ( recording says no one is available to take my call ) This company will lie to you, mislead you and flat out ignore you. I have a solar project on my roof that isnt generating solar but Im paying for and they dont care to contact me back. Stay away from these crooks
