I honestly wasn't sure whether I should make the investment in the Empowered Therapist program. At the time, I had a one-month-old baby, a four-year-old daughter, no support system nearby, and a strong desire not to return to my full-time job after maternity leave. I wanted financial independence, but even more than that, I wanted freedom over my time.

I had many doubts. How could I possibly dedicate myself to a program while caring for two young children? Would I really be able to keep up? But something inside me kept telling me to try, so I did. And I do not regret it.

My coach has been incredible. She is also a mother with a baby close in age to mine, which makes her understanding and support even more meaningful. One thing I truly appreciate is the flexibility of the program. If I have a difficult week and can't keep up, they simply extend my timeline by another week. I never feel pressured to finish at someone else's pace. Instead, I feel supported in moving forward at my own pace, which has made me feel included and set up for success.

Another unexpected benefit has been the connections I've made with other people in the program. Learning from their experiences, sharing challenges, and growing together has been invaluable. The group dynamic has been wonderful.

The transformation of my website has exceeded my expectations. My copywriting is on a completely different level, and I am creating content that feels authentic and truly aligned with who I am. Everything feels more organic and intentional.

Now, I am seeing people reach out through my website, Psychology Today, and even LinkedIn. That has been incredibly rewarding. What makes this even more meaningful is that many people join the program to grow their therapy practice, while I joined to grow my forensic psychological evaluation practice. My goals were different from most participants, yet I am seeing real results in the area that matters most to me.

That tells me this is not just a program that works for therapists building therapy caseloads, it is a program that helps psychologists and mental health professionals build successful businesses in a variety of specialties. I am truly grateful I took the leap.

I had been managing my private practice for a a few years before I joined the Empowering Therapists program. For a while I had maintained a busy caseload but in the Fall of 2025 I noticed a sharp drop in referrals and after doing some research I determined that happened because I wasn't being found on the internet. My word-of-mouth resources hadn't been as successful and I knew I needed to master SEO so that I would be found on Google and therapist directories.

Jess, the coaches, and her program made the daunting task of understanding and implementing SEO much less scary and much more accessible than I could have imagined. You can see how much she poured into the program when you're watching all of the modules she created to teach us the skills. I never felt alone or confused in the process as someone was always available to help and I even learned from my peers in the program too.

I gained so much from this and as I prepare to depart the program, I am not only doing so with a full caseload and then some, I am doing it with the necessary tools that I will need to continue building my practice.

I CANNOT recommend this program enough! I have been skeptical of coaching in the past but I am so glad I opened myself up to this and took this moment to learn the tools I had been missing.

Empowering therapists is an amazing program. The lessons are clear to understand and tangible. You can really see the impact of the changes you make on your website in improving your search-ability. The most valuable part is the constant community, you can ask questions day and night, as many as you want and you always get a HUMAN response from another therapist who has done this themselves. There is also group calls every day so you can go, share your screen and get help with tech, SEO, copywriting and mindset in real time. Jess has built an amazing program and I was happy to be a part of it!

Jess never over-promised anything, which makes the over delivering that occurred, that much sweeter. When I joined the Empowering Therapists program I had just branched out on my own from working at a group practice. I was anxious, and had a scarcity mindset around what was possible for me.
