I highly recommend this clinic for hair transplant surgery. I have undergone two procedures here and have been consistently impressed with their professionalism, expertise, and care. Both surgeries were smooth, and I have no complaints. The team demonstrates exceptional skill, making them a trustworthy choice for anyone considering hair restoration.

I had a hair transplant at the Dr. Cinik Clinic in April 2024. I received approximately 3,700 grafts. This is my review after 18 months.

Initial planning and logistics

The sales team was very communicative before the surgery to get me to sign up. The hotel was good. The driver for my transfer from the airport was late though. Also he didn't drop me off at the hotel; he dropped me off near the hotel and I didn't have a Turkish SIM so I couldn't look up the direction. I had to walk around for half an hour to find the hotel.

The surgery and immediate aftermath

Dr. Cinik did not perform the surgery. He spent only a few seconds with me to draw the hairline. He did not ask for my input or expectations.

The actual procedure was carried out by young technicians who did not speak English, making communication during the painful process impossible.

The clinic did not warn me about how painful the procedure would be. Had I known, I would have requested sedation.

The recovery involved significant swelling. The pain and recovery were so bad I had to take an unplanned week off from work.

The aggressive push for positive reviews

After the surgery, the post-op started asking me to leave a positive review.

When I said I would wait for the results, they pressured me by saying I could "review the experience so far" and "change the review later."

This was obviously an attempt to get a positive review before I could see the result and that could explain why they have such good ratings.

I had to firmly ask them to stop bothering me to leave a review before the results have materialized

The poor result

After 9-10 months, the result was visibly patchy, see-through, and lacked density. It was clearly unsuccessful. I complained, and the clinic told me to "just wait" and continue using their recommended supplements, which I had been doing all along.

The PRP debacle

After my initial complaints, they suggested I pay for a PRP session. Until month 10 after the surgery, they had not told me that I was entitled to three free PRP sessions within the first year.

I scheduled a PRP session and a conversation with Dr. Cinik in June and flew to Istanbul specifically for it. Upon arriving and informing the clinic, I was told they would be closed for the Eid holiday. After I argued, they scheduled me for an appointment the next day.

I had also scheduled a meeting with Dr. Cinik for this trip and was promised he would be available. Once I was there, I was told by the post‑op team that Dr Cinik was not in the clinic due to the Eid holiday. They asked me to reschedule my flight and come back the next day so I could see him. I rescheduled my flight. The next day I returned—again, I was told Dr Cinik was still not available; he was on vacation. Instead they offered to let me speak to a technician (who they insisted counts as a doctor). The technician I spoke to tried to gaslight me into thinking that the transplant was a success and if I was not happy with the results, I should get another transplant.

As a consolation for the horrible experience in the June PRP trip, the clinic offered another PRP session. I returned in October for the free PRP they promised in June. The post-op team initially refused, stating it was past the one-year mark. I had to argue and escalate to a manager to have them honor their agreement.

So in total, I only got 2 out of the 3 promised PRPs and I got them too late because the unprofessional post-op team did not inform me about them in time.
At one point, the clinic's proposed solution for the poor growth was to try and sell me a laser device for thousands of euros.

I sought a second opinion from a different clinic. They reviewed my results and suggested that the poor growth was likely due to incorrect angles of the implanted grafts.

My donor area has been over-harvested which has permanently limited my options for a successful repair surgery in the future.

Summary

I spent over 4,000 Euros on the surgery, travel, and aftercare. The result is a failure. The clinic has been unprofessional, unfriendly, and has shown a complete lack of accountability. They have refused to take any responsibility for the failed outcome. My experience is that they operate as a high-volume hair mill, focused on profit rather than patient care. I deeply regret my decision and strongly advise others to avoid this clinic.

Your statements are factually incorrect. I was never told that a second surgery would be needed on the temple or scalp area. I was only told it was needed for the crown.

You also failed to inform me about PRP treatments within the eligible period and only mentioned them after I complained about the poor results. Now, instead of taking responsibility for the outcome, you are trying to shift the blame onto me.

This is my second surgery at Dr CINIK and I’m very happy with the results so far.

The surgery was very professional and the support offered afterwards quite useful to understand how to make an effective recovery.

Finally post follow up by the doctors on the results upon time also helps to clarify any questions and comprehend the process overall

Dr. Cunik Clinic is extremely busy, and unfortunately, their communication with potential clients is quite poor. I had my first hair transplant done there, but there were several instances of miscommunication throughout the process. It seems that they are so busy that they struggle to properly follow up or respond to clients in a timely manner.

For my second hair transplant, I tried contacting them multiple times through WhatsApp, but the response was very slow and unhelpful. It really feels like they are too busy to give proper attention and communication to their clients, which is disappointing.

I heard that they are one of the best clinics in Istanbul, and they are not wrong. The experience was fine, I can see that professionals work there. We had the language barrier which made speaking a bit difficult, we used a translator to communicate with each other once. Other than that, I guess I don’t have any complaints. The price was reasonable, because their technologies are advanced.

Everything absolutely great. I’d recommend Dr Cinik 100%, how they take care of you, how they give you so many resources.

More than i expected, kindness and patience despite the large amount of people coming and going

I had my hair transplant at Dr. Cinik’s Clinic three weeks ago and so far, I’m really satisfied with the whole experience. The team was extremely professional from start to finish. Everything was well-organized, from the airport pickup to the surgery day. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and reassuring.

During the operation, the staff made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and the doctor checked on me personally. The post-op care instructions were clear and easy to follow.

It’s still early, but I’m very happy with the progress and confident I chose the right clinic. Definitely recommend Dr. Cinik’s team to anyone considering a hair transplant in Turkey.

Everything was great from the very beginning — the van from the Cinik Clinic was waiting for me and kept driving me wherever I needed to go. The staff was amazing, very polite and helpful. The surgery went well, and we’ll see about the results in time. I would especially like to praise my agent Bedirhan, who was constantly in touch with me and always ready to help. We literally spoke for the first time six months before the surgery, and he was always available for my questions and whatever I needed. He really made this whole trip much easier for me.
