Stay Away

I feel deeply disappointed, specially since I even stayed on their site with a Pro subscription for two years. It suddently became impossible to quit. The only luck I had was not being able to pay, due to a lack of credit on my card, which was a blessing. If you check in the area of the subscription there's no option to delete your card's data, so your paymenth method can only be updated, not deleted in case you want to close your account. Not being able to find that I proceeded to delete my account, so I can't even login now, and even less have any use of it - which I don't want anyway. Nobody can say they charged me for a service....but they keep trying to charge me. I keep receiving mails about unsuccessful payments, the only thing I've received by encast, and I read outraged comment replies about how the site "isn't a scam" and how "quickly they answer", and how supportive they are. The attempts to take money from a subscription I don't use (with a deleted account) are three now, and that's not a lie. The mails I've sent to both the email adresses were ignored for days, I haven't received not an answer, nor a confirmation of my deleted account and subscription (which has no reason to exist, since I've deleted my account). I wonder why can it be so difficult to delete an account and subscription. Stay away from this site: I started out trusting them and now I can't get rid of them, there's no answer nor a solved problem.

Our support team has responded to every email you’ve sent us — including the ones this week — and we can confirm through our system that these emails were opened. Unfortunately, we never received a reply from you to any of our responses.

Regarding your subscription: when you deleted your account, the page clearly explained that subscriptions must be cancelled before deleting the account. This is necessary because deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription — just like on many other platforms. In your case, the subscription was still active, which is why payment attempts continued. These attempts stopped only because your card had no available funds — not because the subscription was cancelled.

As per GDPR regulations, once an account is deleted, all personal data (including billing records) are permanently removed. This makes it more difficult for us to trace and cancel subscriptions manually — which is exactly what we’re now working on for you.

We’ve never charged you after your deletion, and we’ve never ignored your messages. We are genuinely trying to help and resolve this, and we kindly ask that you respond to our emails so we can finish the process.

Unable to cancel subscription or change payment method

Unable to find any information about how to unsubscribe or cancel. When I found the cancel link I got an email that my subscription was not cancelled and contact them. When I press the link to contact I end up to a weird Italian contact form from which I understand nothing about. I cannot find any way to change my payment method and the only way to get rid of the company was to completely delete my account. I hope that atleast that worked.

I haven’t been well and not agreed for…

I haven’t been well and not agreed for payments to be taken out of my account. Unfortunately I can’t walk properly and having major surgery. Would it be possible please to reimburse me as I didn’t agree to this. May I please have your contact details to do this urgently. Thank you

Not what I expected

I subscribed on this platform with the best intentions.
Unfortunately I have reached this point as I am not getting the minimum support I expected.
Their site will not allow me to update my profile and have control like I can on other similar platforms. After multiple email exchanges they told me to send them my promo material so they can upload them for me.
It's kind of them, but I paid good money to have control of my own profile, as it is logical.
I asked for my money back as I am not getting the minimum expected service from their platform, but they insist to have it done their way and of course not refund me.
Artists should have control of their page/profile.
Either fix your platform to meet the standard requirements or refund my money!

It is a year or so that I have been…

It is a year or so that I have been subscribed to them, but it is now that I am really paying attention to it. They seems to give a really good service. I am crossing fingers that I will get some jobs with you, guys. I feel really hopeful!!

Very pleased

Very pleased. Just booked my first job through them. There was a bit of a problem setting up the profile but they sorted it out quickly so we got there in the end. And of course I could do with a few more castings for my age/location, etc. But it's a slick site and pretty cool, too. Overall very happy with them.

What a terrible fake casting agency!!!

What a terrible, terrible company. They debit your account without sending an invoice or any notification even though I cancelled my membership months and months ago. I thought I made a one off payment but they have just debited me again. I have informed my bank but they Encast could have at least had the curtesy to let me know they we're going to debit me again. How did I know it just rolls on? They are NOT to be trusted and I personally think they're castings are fake anyway. BEWARE OF THESE CHARLATANS!!

*UPDATE* Well thank you for the reply even though it took you almost a year to get around to it. It's fine keep the money and spend it wisely.

THEY DON'T HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE NEITHER AN EMAIL ADDRESS NEITHER A PLACE A PERSON IS HELPING YOU OUT AND THEY GIVE OUT EUROPEAN CASTINGS BUT YOU CANT APPLY BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LIVING IN THE PLACE WHERE THEY ARE SEARCHING, SO IT IS WASTED TIME AND MONEY TO BE THERE.
