yea, its horrible for anyones mental health

so, as someone who went to the school and is a trans, gay kid who is afab (female at birth) i will advise that if you have any suspicion that your kid is any for of lgbtqia+ to not send them here. the teachers are fine i guess? they are subpar at best and while they are nice to the parents many of the kids who do not fit the norm are ignored or simply looked over (also very easily bullied by the children) the principal is kinda insanely bad and did nothing to help anyone. most people here have religious parents which feel it's necessary to have their children inform you that you will go to hell for simply existing. its more so petty drama about fighting over their middle school boyfriends while their all in their "going to church in georgia" dress while having pumped up kicks play in the background. TO SUM IT ALL UP... your kids probably gonna hate themselves and if they ask to leave the school, listen cause id like to assume that you have basic respect for them and want them to not have thoughts of ending their own lives :)

Not sure of my stand

Zero bullying policy stinks for middle schoolers. How many times does your child need to be bullied? Until you pull your child out? Why not the bully be moved! My child has wrote up so many reports- the boy is still there. Maybe there is a reason why he was kicked out of all the other schools. Zero Bully rating: 2
Communication with teachers: parents get a weekly newsletter. Teachers make themselves available. Rating: 4
Grading system: 2. Sometimes your child only gets 1 chance for grading opportunity. If your child doesn't take tests well, you can imagine their grade.
Love the principle!!
Highly recommend K-5 grades!

Great teachers, new principle not so good.

We have nothing but praise for Endeavors teachers & office staff. But after having gone there for over 10 years with our kids, the current principle is very lacking. She doesn't hold trouble makers accountable; we've seen her work against the students who are trying to do what's right; and she seems very fake in her sincerity & demeanor. In her short 1 1/2 years at this school, we've only seen things get worse. They need a better leader at the helm.

Endeavor has lots of room for improvement

In the 6 years my daughter has been at Endeavor, I have lost trust in the school. I feel staff makes bias choices & not what is in the best interest of the children. The school tends to keep situations quiet instead of making parents aware and fixing the problem. The staff turnover every years is ridiculous. There is no time for kids to just be kids and play. With limited recess, you surely can only blame yourselves for some of the behavior issues. There is bullying going on and the wrong child has been blamed (more than once), and received punishment for being bullied. Your ignorance to actually take action and fix the problems brought to the school board's attention is unacceptable and a shame.

lunch program

I recently discovered that my son's lunch account had been charged for 30 milks that he had not received. The reason for the charges was easily corrected, however, the long term solution to the issue needs to be addressed. My 7-year-old son had accidentally been clipping his name too close to the milk category so the teacher was marking him down for a milk, however, he was not getting a milk, but there doesn't appear to be a checks and balances system in place to catch that he had signed up for a milk but had not truly gotten a milk. The cafeteria staff just automatically charged him. I believe that a good checks and balances system is a fairly simple undertaking and would like to see this system implemented in the near future so that other families will not have to go through the struggles I went through in resolving the issue.

Traditional academics

I appreciate the focus on pure academics and the drive to ensure that the brightest of children are given the opportunity to excel beyond others.
