I've used EndNote for many years. Seamless integration with Microsoft Word and no hiccups sinking with EndNote Web.

Finally, figured out a way, too, to cite book reviews.

I was university professor for 37 years and taught undergraduate and graduate students how to use EndNote and how it saves time.

Evernote was constantly crashing. I had to do extensive research to find out how to fix it. Basically there was corrupted old Evernote files. Had to get a specific app to clean it. The point being that I have to do quite a bit of research to resolve this problem. Should I take that much work. I’ve never had to do that with any other program.

Organizes my reference articles with a .pdf into categories so I can find them quick and easy.

I have had a few inquiries on features, and the customer support has been amazing. It's nice to chat with someone quickly and easily on an issue. The program is useful and easy to use.

Basically, Endnote becomes my library and assistant. It saves me days when working on a manuscript. If I have to change journals of formats, it's a click away - not correcting every entry in a manuscript. I've tried other solutions that are free - but you really do get what you pay for.

It's a fantastic product and the techs are very knowledgeable and patient

I do not like endnote. It is not user friendly

Endnote 20 is powerful and reasonably easy to use.

I really like endnote. I just published a book that I wrote using the program. The ability to easily switch between publication styles (Chicago, APA, etc.) during the proposal process was really helpful.

Thanks for a great product. The only drawback is the check spelling function appears not to work.

The widget to capture info from the grey literature has never worked. Repeated requests for assistance were no answered.

I was not aware that I purchased a new edition of END NOTE. More importantly, when I called, I was told that my old edition was unacceptable for an upgrade. So I would genuinely appreciate an email to explain what's going on with my account which I didn't know I had.

Better than prior version, yet, needs some improvements (to fix the bugs). Also big pricey

The technical assistance from a very smart cadre of individuals has been exemplary. I am so pleased that they are there when I need help with various Endnote issues & questions. They are patient, kind, and professional.

Fairly easy to use, but a colleague is available to answer questions. It would be nice if you could keep a reference and simply change a chapter number rather than needing to type it all in as a separate reference.

would prefer easier way to cut and paste. ctr c ctrl v locks up my computer. when I do a search that has multiple references, if I can one reference, it goes to that reference spot as opposed to maintaining my search list

I owned EndNote back in the days of software delivered on CDs. The new version is cryptic, poorly documented and cumbersome, comparitively. I find the functionality being heavily tied to academic libraries/institutions exclusionary. As an independent researcher without academic ties, the whole subscription proved disappointing, a waste of time, and essentially a donation to the company. Not happy.

Software misformats some APA 7 references (ex. Multiple authors). This is inexcusable.

It also is next to impossible to manually edit references that are misformatted without chaos ensuing (your software overrides user corrections).

Software interface is very dated/awkward and does not integrate well with programs like Microsoft Word.
