Good communication …

It took a really really long time for the item to arrive, but I was impressed that I was informed right away not only thought it was backorder, but that it was backordered everywhere on the Internet. I was given the option to cancel and get my money back. They stayed in communication and were very consistent. When we received our purchase, it was nicer than I expected, excellent quality.

Avoid, something wrong here.

I ordered lamps at the end of January.Several days later I received an email saying they were in the warehouse but it would take 10 days to ship them. That struck me a little bit suspicious since when does it take 10 days to get something from a warehouse and ship it?

Once the 10 days passed I wrote to them and asked for a status update.
they responded to my email and said they would get back to me which they did not.

Finally, after determining there was something decidedly wrong , I canceled the order. They did respond to that right away, and , in an email, said that if the order had shipped (which I had not received notice of) I would be responsible for shipping costs to return the items .

The rug I really wanted and ordered…

The rug I really wanted and ordered from English Elm was no longer available. The English Elm associate did the research based on colors and size, recommended a similar rug, confirmed its availability, and gave me a little discount for my troubles when I ordered. She / English Elm was very responsive. And delivery was prompt. It’s a big purchase for me and I appreciated the attention and getting it right.

The customer service was superb! But not the comforter

The customer service was superb!! The call with an update was music to my ears!! The comforter set was not so much. I ordered a king-size for my king bed. The comforter was so short it didn't even reach down to the first mattress. And the workmanship is poor. yeah I'm disappointed, but IDK, I figured I'll have to find another comforter set. The shams are the right size.

Do better

The box look ok when it arrived, however the clock and the foam was all messed up. The clock had dents in it and I had to take a hammer and knock it back in place. The foam that was to protect the clock was all torn up falling apart . Not sure how that happened. To make it better you may want to hire a new company for delivery, one that takes time to care for the inventory. The clock is beautiful but not the quality that I imagine it to be. Sorry for the bad review. Just don't want anyone to experience what I experienced.
