Thumbs up from me

Reading the reviews it seems engraved drinks is hit and miss but from my first time buying and experience i couldn't be more happier, I purchased a bottle on the 16th and the bottle arrived today on the 19th, all of it was fully tracked via royal mail, the product itself was exactly how it looked on the website and the engraving on the bottle was perfect. Purchased for my brothers 40th Birthday and thankful for great product and fast shipping, I personally would recommend 👌

The champagne bottle arrived quicker than Amazon Prime and the customer service responses even faster.

Customer service was brilliant

Customer service was brilliant. Although they did not have my original order they asked if I would like to choose something else. 20 hours later it was delivered to my door, very well packaged. They kept me up to date with reassuring e mails and could not have done anymore. I am sure the recipient of the gift will be highly delighted. Thank you once again.

Poor quality engraving

Received my personalised bottle of whiskey which arrived promptly which was great,
Unfortunately the quality of the engraved photo on the bottle was very very poor.
The price to get the bottle engraved actually doubled the price which i thought was extreme but as a special 50th gift i went with it.
I certainly wont be making that mistake again

Disgraceful customer service

Disgraceful customer service

Bought a large bottle of champagne £200+

Upon opening the contents were substandard to what this champagne normally is

Told to return bottle with packaging etc and would investigate via the manufacturer

This was done exactly to the letter of their request

Opened a dispute with PayPal at the same time this company sent me an email advising they won’t be dealing with me as raised a dispute through PayPal

Received further email advising they will not be testing the contents etc and that was the case closed

Also in this email they said they will never supply me again and all orders from myself would be rejected Well thank you tha saves me messing about with your company , which I have used many times before

I have raised this with my bank as I no longer have the bottle and it’s contents which I asked to be retuned to me as per their own terms and conditions an for this to be special delivery and supply me with tracking number

No reply to my email , no tracking number

Thanks for your reply which you state I consumed the champagne and then complained , far from the truth again I opened the champagne poured one glass and my wife thought the coupler looked of ans tasted this which she assured me this was off I then contacted you and explained to be told to send back with contents for testing , oh my god I cannot believe I am still dealing with this and you as a company are by far the worst for customer service I have ever had in my life

I work in retail and customer service and have done for over 40 years , if I treated my customers the way you do I would no longer be employed airhead the success in sales k have had throughout. MY career within different companies and achieved the promotions etc that I have , I will continue to pursue this as you have yet to return the goods I paid for as I asked for these to be returned in your terms and conditions

After the champagne was opened and consumed, you contacted us with a complaint about the taste and requesting a full refund - we offered to have the bottle independently verified by the manufacturer.

A PayPal dispute was then opened before the bottle was returned for verification, bypassing the manufacturer's independent assessment you had agreed to undertake.

PayPal reviewed all evidence and ruled in our favor.

We remain committed to assisting customers who follow our standard return procedures.

Engraving issues & rude customer service

I recently ordered a Bottega Gold Prosecco with engraving from Engraved Drinks as a 10th wedding anniversary gift. Unfortunately, the bottle arrived with noticeable defects: the engraving was inconsistent, and there was a visible scratch that ruined the gold finish.

I contacted customer support hoping for a replacement bottle, but their response was cold, impersonal, and dismissive. Rather than addressing my request, they only referred me to their returns policy, emphasizing minor imperfections as “inherent to the manufacturing process” and offering a refund instead of correcting the error - even when I asked if I could have a replacement. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the fact that this was a gift with sentimental value.

After spending money on what the website promises as “completely one of a kind, alongside exceptional quality and attention to detail,” I was extremely disappointed by the product and the lack of good customer service. I now also have serious concerns about whether I will receive a proper refund once the bottle is returned given how they did not want to continue my custom when I asked for a replacement.

It’s also telling that many other reviews online reflect similar experiences. I would not recommend Engraved Drinks.

If I could leave 0 stars I would

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased a personalised bottle of rum for my son in law on his wedding day. The post office misdelivered, confirmed by GPS coordinates. Post office said they would investigate but could take a few weeks do I had to reorder the gift to ensure it was on time. Post office’s investigation was fruitless and I asked for refund but engrave drinks have to apply for that. They have and now are ignoring my emails requesting a refund or complaints process! Disgusting, wished I’d checked them out before I ordered, they clear deserve their poor ratings. When things go well, you can expect high praise. It’s when things go wrong you see the integrity of a company and this one doesn’t have any!

Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer service. I ordered a personalised bottle of champagne, but the box arrived severely damaged. Despite multiple follow-up emails and receiving one reply claiming a replacement box had been sent (which never arrived), it's now been over a month with no resolution. I'm left with the choice of presenting the gift in a damaged box or purchasing a new one myself. I would not recommend this company, as they clearly lack both care and communication when it comes to their customers.
I see a second review posted in October 2024 appears to be by me. It IS NOT. I certainly would never give the company a 5* review. I would have given them -* if I could have.
I still have not received a response to my emails nor have I received the replacement gift box promised. I would not recommend this company.

Incorrect order, poor customer service

I ordered an engraved bottle of vodka as a 60th birthday gift, entering 3 lines of text in the order web page.
When the bottle arrived there was only 1 line of text.
The customer service team was completely disinterested. Basically said I’d made the mistake on the order. If only I’d taken a screenshot to prove what I’d requested.
Complete waste of £44.

Shockingly poor quality and zero customer service

I was trying to buy a 50th birthday gift for a close friend and on trying to progress this through the website I received error codes. I contacted the company and ended up using email to order the item based upon their supposed expert advice. I order text and image engraved onto a Brockmans gin bottle. What I received had streaks through one person on the image and another person had a blurry deformed face which was nothing like the image I had sent. On raising this they simply ignored me. I know they read my emails as they’d charged me three times and on raising this they refunded two without any communication. This company are cowboy fraudsters and you will be disappointed and left out of pocket. I have left this review to give ample time for the company to do the right thing which they have not done. I would never recommend them.

Zero Customer Service, absolutely awful!!!

I ordered an engraved bottle of Port for my son as a Christmas present.

After a message advising that my order would not be fulfilled I asked for someone to get in touch. When I heard nothing I asked for the order to be cancelled - as the gift was a Christmas present I had to make alternative arrangements.

However, after further emails being ignored they still took payment, and this was for an order I was told by them was no longer available!

I sent another email and again I asked for the order to be cancelled, and for a refund to be made, this was again completely ignored, and remember, this was all following an email from them telling me the item was no longer available.

I was then advised that the goods had been dispatched!

I again emailed asking for someone to get in touch, and that was also completely ignored.

So, I now have an engraved bottle of port that is not needed, or wanted, I have emailed them again today but I'm betting that email will also be ignored!

Perfect 👌

Some negative reviews on here but honestly all good. I cannot attend my sisters wedding as I am out of the country at the time so ordered a bottle of bollinger engraved for my mum to give her on the day. Ordered on Saturday midday, engraved and delivered by Monday afternoon. Would definitely use again without hesitation

Damaged bottle, after engraving

Ordered a personalised bottle of Disaranno off this company. The bottle arrived and had clear damaged where it had been engraved. I got in touch with the company, and they couldn't guarantee a replacement be sent by the date I needed, and then stated that they couldn't process this without returning the product. I've no problem with this, but then the company claimed that it was not damage, and was "inherent to the manufacturing process" so if damaged bottles after engraving is what you're after, then this is the company to use!

Picture on the website shows the engraving superimposed neatly centred above the label on the front of the bottle. In reality, engraving has been done on the side of the bottle near the barcode and looks naff (there is plenty of room above the label). Nowhere near the quality I'd expect for a personalised gift costing nearly £70. Shame.

Appalling service- ignoring emails when item isn’t as described and it’s being challenged. No phone number- completely wasted £82 as unable to gift. Wish I’d read the reviews as seems a common problem. Will be taking further as wrong to mislead.

The ordering process is difficult and…

The ordering process is difficult and makes mistakes very easy. There is no option to proof anything before getting it engraved, which when ordering 16 bottles is crazy. You are expected to individually enter each bottle onto the website, with some confusing instructions only provided by email for separate deliveries. After placing my order for 16 bottles I realised I had done it incorrectly (I placed one order for 16 bottles with the word name instead of the name of each person) I had given clear instructions previously via email with the text that I required and was ensured it would be correct. I tried to get in touch with customer service all day to correct the error before engraving (there is no phone number). To be told hours later that no bottles would be engraved until they were approved and not to worry. I sent over a list of names and addresses and confirmed with the lady that only the first name was required to be on the bottle. I was advised not to worry as she approves everything before engraving. The bottles arrived with the first and surnames engraved. Who would want both names engraved seriously!!? Now I realise the error was mine in the first place, but the customer service afterwards and the process to order bulk was crazy with no proofing approval options. Then to be blamed totally even though I was promised that everything was approved before engraving was very insulting. A simple sorry and a gesture of good will would have been fine for me and I had planned to be a repeat order next year, but I won't be using engravedrinks again due to the terrible customer service!

However, as stated on the website and the terms you agreed to. Items will be personalised according to the specification given and cannot be changed after ordering.

We engraved your items to the specification that was sent to us, post-delivery you requested to change the specification. We informed you this wasn't possible. In response you requested that we send additional items free of charge.

We politely declined and offered to accept return of the order in exchange for a full refund. The items were not returned.

Poor!

Ignore emails when you disagree and prove what they are saying is wrong. Then won't give details of complaints procedure. No information on website about complaints procedure.

Poor experience and seriously poor ran company. Please avoid other companies might be more expensive but service would be far superior then this
