I purchased my L20 3.0 Pro through E-Bay ... I just wish to say what a great e-bike it is. Very easy to build after unpacking the box ... love the fast charging on this bike compared to the slow charge of my old bike.
Great to feel the power kick in as I start to pedal from that mid-drive motor.

Very poor.
Engwe E26 arrived with error code. E30
Bike doesn’t work, contacted Engwe direct to inform them of the issue.
After constant persistence that I want a refund and there constant persistence they want to repair the bike they have agreed to arrange collection and refund 2 weeks after the bike arrived.
However , I’m still awaiting contact from the courier.
Tried to call ESE bike , ( sender on behalf of Engwe ) and unfortunately I have been unable to contact the either

Regarding the collection delay, please kindly understand that our partnered warehouse in the UK is closed during weekends. This means that both collection and delivery services are unfortunately affected during this time, and not only by our company. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding of this situation.
As for the error code E30, we are very sorry this occurred. Before shipping, our staff checked the bike multiple times. It is possible that during the final repackaging after testing, the display cable was unintentionally damaged, which may have caused the communication error (E30). Normally, replacing the cable resolves this issue, but we completely respect your decision to request a return and refund.
We fully understand your frustration. Please rest assured that we have already arranged the return and refund service for you, and we are in constant communication with the warehouse to push them to handle your case as quickly as possible despite the weekend delay.

That fact of the matter is…
1. You have acknowledged the wire was damaged during the production process.
( Cable location is in downtube hidden behind battery cover).
You have already acknowledged this was missed , so don’t tell porkies.
( I’m happy to edit this further to copy and paste your email).
The biggest frustration for me when dealing with this company is
I quote…. You say you respect my decision for a replacement/ refund.
Unfortunately this company have repeatedly ignored my requests and repeatedly offered repair and compensation over many emails
Approximately 15 emails back and forth since the 18th.
My message has been the same from the start.
Replacement or Refund.
29th… Update Still no contact from Engwe regarding uplift of the broken bike.

Honest review / i have ordered 4 separate things from engwe 1 being a bike which came damaged making loads of noise in the electrics when i first plugged in the battery which came scuffed it made a popping noise followed with burning lithium smell ive been trying to resolve this issue since 27th August receiving one effortless reply a day excluding weekends i was told i would be compensated with replacement parts and a refund the refund was given straight to klarna which is fine but instead of sending new parts they send 3 useless items that cant attach to my bike in any way im looking at 500 quid or more in damages to a brand new bike ive not even been able to use the bikes would be good but lazy people put them together and then engwe don't take any effort to resolve the issue worst bike company ive used in 15 years of buying bikes

Don't do this to yourself. I have a N1 Air. I live on Cambridge, not the middle of the woods. I punctured my rear tire. No shop wants to touch it because they don't want to take responsibility disconnecting the motor. The only shop I found that can take a look has a place in 1 month. All for a simple puncture. There's no way of contacting Engwie support. It's too early for electric bikes in UK and no repair shop wants to touch Engwie. Don't buy it, it's more a hassle than it's worth. You'll be constantly afraid of punctures.
Edit: support came back saying that a blowout is due to road conditions. I understand it is, but if you have a puncture in your rear tire, no shop is going to fix that for you. Halfords won't do that, company policy. Smaller shop won't do that. Your only option is dismantling the tire yourself and risking disconnecting the motor and invalidate warranty. Support is abysmal, the only way to connect with them is via an app with a small form that doesn't render well in Android. Obviously support answers via pre-canned translated responses and is not of real help. That's what you get the you buy Chinese. Don't do this to yourself, a simple puncture puts you in a terrible position. Don't buy this.

From start to finish, the good people of Engwe bikes were fantastic. I had some early issues with a potential fraud when trying to purchase the bike through Klarna. This ended in a refund. The process of this was given full support and understanding from Engwe throughout. I then paid outright and received the bike within a week.I also paid for a panier bag and bmx style handle bars. Due to a mix up with the royal mail, the paniers were delivered without the handle bars. Again, Engwe's support throughout this process, made the experience much less of a pain. I eventually recieved the bars after they chased them up. In all I have found their support to be exemplary and work ethic also very good. I would strongly recommend them to anyone wishing to buy a Pro 2. A game changer in Ebiking.... A very satisfied customer.

Bought our grandson a bike and a month later had a problem with the speed. The company worked with us and stayed with us until the bike was fixed. Sent us replacement parts at no expense. It did take a while to receive the parts since they came from China. They also promise to help if snynither problems occur.

Above all, their customer service has always been there for me. For parts replacements, they've always kept their word and provided support.
I liked it so much that my wife bought the EP2PRO, which is also superb.
Please be careful to use the correct website address and take the one below from Trust Pilot, as there are many counterfeits of this site. Hope Engwe will "fix" it soon.

I recently experienced an issue while charging my Engwe bike, and I was very impressed with the support I received. The team asked me clear and relevant questions, and even requested photos and videos to better understand the problem. At first, they suspected the connector interface was defective and sent me replacements (the first wasn’t compatible, but the second one fit correctly). Eventually, they identified that the real issue came from the charger itself, which they replaced very quickly.
Throughout the whole process, the communication was professional, efficient, and respectful. I truly appreciate how dedicated Engwe is to their customers, and I’m very glad I chose both their bike and their excellent support service.

I purchased an ENGWE Engine Pro 2.0, believing it to be a normal EPAC e-bike compliant with EU laws (25 km/h, 250W, certified EN15194).
The reality is completely different: the bike has a 750W motor, reaches 40+ km/h, and comes with a fake label falsely declaring compliance with EN15194.
In Germany, this bike has no ABE (mandatory road approval) and cannot be legally registered. Riding it on public roads is a criminal offense. I was personally stopped by the police, taken to court, and fined €500.
I provided ENGWE with all the official documentation, but after months of requests they refused to compensate me for the fine. Instead, they wasted my time with endless delays and excuses.
⚠️ This company is dishonest, fraudulent, and dangerous.
They not only deceive customers, but also put road safety at risk.
I strongly advise against buying anything from ENGWE.

I bought the Engwe E26 e-bike. The bike is excellent and unbeatable for the price.
After a while, there was a small issue, but the excellent support team quickly resolved it to my complete satisfaction.
My wife also wants to buy an e-bike soon, and it will definitely be an Engwe e-bike again.

I purchased an Engwe engine pro 2 in December 2024 and was delighted with the bike. It does everything I wanted. Unfortunately there was subsequently a problem with the motor. Engwe customer services provided full backup and without hesitation a replacement motor was fitted. I would not hesitate to recommend Engwe bikes on the back of this after sales support.
