Avoid this company

Avoid this company, even if it's the only hosting provider left.
The customer service is extremely poor, and their migration process is terribly managed.

Abysmal

As everyone else seems to be saying - avoid avoid avoid. We moved to Eco from Heart Internet last year and initially everything was great. Within weeks things went downhill fast. Eco became Hostpresto - in general very slow support response. This weekend they started migrating all our services over to a new platform. Whilst this has been on the cards for a while now - we had literally 2 days notice that it would take place over the weekend leaving us no time at all to warn the majority of our clients.

However, they've been migrating sites for a while now so how bad could it be? Surely they've ironed out all the niggles by now?

Absolutely not. Our phones have been ringing off the hook today with people losing email, having no email, not being able to send email - the list goes on. First support request submitted at 8.45am today - now 15:18pm and not a single response, even though they are listed as High, or Urgent in their system.

We have no idea when things will be back to normal and we can't pick up a phone to complain.

Atrocious service. Recent migration has created major problems. Do not use.

If I could rate this as a zero I would. Since taking over Ecoweb hosting in the UK, Enix service provision has been abysmal. They have migrated the hosting platforms and in the process (I use the word process loosely), have created a trail of mayhem and rework behind them. Mail systems are repeatedly failing. Sites have been down as SSL certificates have not been implemented. Technical support response times are seven hours plus for loss of service issues. The service is atrocious. I used to happily recommend Ecoweb hosting to my clients for their hosting requirements. Never again. Absolute rubbish.
