Incorrect booking slots meant extra charges
Booked a Europcar hire car through Enjoy Travel. The drop off time I booked on Enjoy Travel happened to be when the rental shop was closed. This meant that, when I arrived to pick up the car, I had to extend the booking at extra cost to myself. I phoned Enjoy Travel’s help desk, who told me that because my rental period had started (i phoned them at 3pm, rental period started at 3pm… a tad harsh imo) they could not amend the booking, nor issue a refund to me.
Europcar were helpful in allowing me to extend my booking upon arriving. Of course, I was charged, but due no fault of Europcar’s. Car was clean and return on the extended date was easy.
Safe to say I will not be using Enjoy Travel again. Would use Europcar directly though.

The collection and return times on a reservation are selected by the customer when making the booking and are then clearly shown on the booking confirmation and rental voucher.
In this case, you contacted us at 3pm on the day the rental was due to commence at 3pm. At that point the rental period had already started and the booking could no longer be amended or cancelled under the applicable terms. This isn't a discretionary decision made by a member of our Customer Services team; it is how a confirmed rental is treated once its collection time has been reached.
Europcar subsequently agreed directly with you to extend the rental and charged for the additional rental period accordingly.
If you believe our website specifically offered and confirmed a return time at which the selected Europcar location was closed, please contact our Customer Services team with your booking reference. That is a specific issue we can investigate against the booking and the opening hours supplied to us.
