I go to Eton and Enrique helped me lots with my A level Spanish revision, I got an A* in my a levels because of him and he listened to what I need help on and always was prepared before lessons. He made Spanish learning fun and I would definitely recommend him for any students.

Enrique was incredibly helpful with my IB Spanish B course. He has expertise when it comes to exam technique and what examiners look for in all 4 skills (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking). He was also very patient and encouraging during lessons and always offered guidance and support when needed. Would highly recommend him for learning Spanish!

Enrique, or Kike as we know him, has been teaching our son Miguel Spanish for the last few years, and we feel very fortunate to have found him. Although both Louise and I are Spanish and we often speak Spanish at home, we always felt it was important for Miguel to have a strong foundation in the language, especially to help him develop his speaking skills with confidence. Miguel has always understood most conversations, but thanks to Kike’s patience, consistency and excellent teaching, his Spanish has improved enormously. The progress has been wonderful to see. Miguel is now able to hold normal conversations with his grandparents in Spain, which means a lot to us as a family. Kike has helped him not only improve his Spanish, but also feel more comfortable using it naturally.
We are very grateful for everything Kike has done and continues to do for Miguel. He is an excellent teacher, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for Spanish lessons. Miguel is now very close to becoming fully bilingual, and Kike has played a huge part in that journey.

A friend and I have been having lessons with Enrique every week for the last couple of years, and it's been a lot of fun.

Lessons are well structured but also not overly serious - we were looking for something a bit more casual as we're both in our mid-30s, but we're now basically fluent so it's obviously worked!

We have recommended Enrique to other friends who were looking to take things a bit more seriously - do exams etc, and they have also only had positive things to say!

Enrique worked with my daughter on her GCSEs Spanish. She went from failing in Sept to a 9 on her mocks in early Jan after 2.5 months of weekly sessions. He built her confidence & enthusiasm, and made it fun. I did not get involved but the results speak for themselves. My daughter now really enjoys the language and uses it when on holidays in Spanish speaking countries. I corresponded with Enrique on logistics and he was super reliable, accessible and flexible with his time. I would greatly recommend his work.

I have been learning Spanish with Enrique for more than 10 years and have advanced from absolute beginner to C1 level thanks to his guidance. Enrique's lessons are a blend of conversation, culture and grammar, and his friendly manner makes learning fun and relevant. Enrique has been a friendly, supportive, and funny tutor for me now for over 2 years! He builds confidence in conversations chatting at the start and end of our lessons about our weeks - sandwiched around the learning in the middle. At my request he also prepares ahead of the lesson a vocabulary/conjugation game on kahoot to play each week. I cant recommend Enrique enough to anyone!

Enrique has been a great Spanish tutor, offering clear and patient guidance on both basic and more complex grammar, especially the subjunctive. His support with improving my translation skills has been invaluable in building my confidence and more importantly, accuracy. Beyond grammar, his lessons are always engaging and thoughtfully structured. He also brings in rich insights into Hispanic culture, making each session both enjoyable and intellectually rewarding.

Enrique is a fantastic tutor, he is always patient and gives plenty of praise when I get things right. He is always on time for our lesson and super friendly. I am so glad I found him and my Spanish is improving every week.

I decided to start learning Spanish just to challenge my (older) brain. I am not a natural Iinguist and certain find grammar easiest, but you can get that from a book. Enrique has been fantastic at encouraging me to speak Spanish and improve my listening skills. At no time have I ever felt self-conscious or embarrassed. Enrique is always positive, makes the lessons interesting and we have quite a few laughs along the way.

I decided to get a Spanish tutor in my final year of university studying Spanish, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. Living in the UK, it can be hard to find opportunities to speak Spanish, so being able to speak with Enrique regularly was a lifesaver for me.
It was quite difficult to find someone suitable for my level, as I was already around B2/C1 and mainly needed to strengthen and refine my skills, especially with the very topic-specific language required for my degree. Not only was Enrique an amazing Spanish teacher who explained things in a way none of my previous teachers ever had, making things finally click, but he is also a highly intelligent individual. Speaking with him about complex issues I was being tested on was really useful, as he gave me different ways of looking at things and helpful background knowledge when I struggled to understand them.
I couldn’t recommend Enrique enough for any university student looking to strengthen their Spanish ahead of final exams or take their skills to the next level.

I study Spanish A level and have found Enrique to be my most useful tutor across the four that I have! He really helped me develop things such as my grammar, translation, listening, reading and other skills as well as being very attentive to details such as my IRP. He focuses well on what you may find difficult and makes sure you master it for your exam. He has a very approachable personality and makes it feel easy to point out things you are finding difficult without shame or embarrassment no matter how many times you may get it wrong at first. I would really reccomend him as I recently did my A level and my grade in my mocks increased in Spanish just thanks to a couple months of help from him.
