Nothing like celebrating Christmas in Chicago. We needed space to host Christmas Eve and Day for 9 people and this was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped, spacious common areas and comfortable beds. Host was very responsive and understood our needs. Would stay here again.

Had a great time. So much that I extended my stay 3 times I'm one visit. I'll surely be renting again. And you can't beat the price and every time I extended you gave me a price I couldn't refuse. Thanks for everything.

We rented a "luxury" apartment in Chicago last weekend, and when we arrived, the apartment had not been properly cleaned. There was a bowl of chips sitting by a bed, no trash bags, coffee filters, etc. After 3 days, they sent tissues and coffee filters, but the dryer didn't work. We had to bring wet laundry home with us. The reason I gave it a 2 was because the manager on the property site was very kind and helpful. ENVITAE did not respond to our requests to speak to a manager. Their response on this format is the first we have heard from them.

Great location, spectacular view, nearby many restaurants and bars as well as public transportation! Very clean, and helpful staff.

We stayed in a lovely four-bedroom king bed suite in Chicago, which was perfect for a large family like ours. It was clean, well-equipped, and the virtual staff was responsive. The place is also walkable to some great cafes and grocery stores! We will certainly be back.

Lovely apartment in downtown Detroit, we went to Lions and Red Wings game while there, Greektown, People Mover, coffee shops, and wonderful restaurants, all within walking distance. Also got to see the Thanksgiving Day parade from our window as the parade route was only 2 blocks away on Woodward.

The beds were very comfortable, linens were clean with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The apartment was clean, attractive, and well cared for. There weren't any extra bathroom towels, only 1 kitchen towel, and no dishwasher detergent. Also ran out of TP, rather annoying.

The building is under construction so had to go down a back alley and enter through a service door. I'd never have found it without the detailed instructions provided, no complaints as the description clearly started it's under construction and not to rely on Google Maps. Just FYI for others, print out the instructions.

Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. The price was reasonable, the location is great and centrally located to everything downtown.

We spent Thanksgiving at this condo in Detroit. The location was amazing for us, only blocks away from family. The kitchen was small, but we were able to make a very nice dinner! Communication was amazing-very quick and kind! My only heads up for future guests is that the bathroom is tiny, and there is not a place to hang or put anything.

Guests be aware!!! If there would be any horrendous experiences at a stay, this would be it. My travel to Detroit Bethune lofts was 2 months ago. As soon as I entered the building, nightmare had begun. The elevator is double layer door, manually operated. Building from 200 years ago. They renovated inside units for modern look but has serious issue with sewer smell. A serious health hazard. Also, the washer had full of used towels jam packed inside. The shower had missing shower head. Serious ripoff of room rate for what it’s truly worth… it’s beyond belief…

Stayed in an apartment in Charlotte. The place was dirty, smelled terrible. Customer service was terrible. They charged additional 39$/per night for parking, but never even bothered to send me instructions oh how and where to park. I had to send them a message at midnight and wait for them to respond before I could park. Overall a terrible experience, would not recommend.

The property was lovely. Location was perfect. Got to watch the Veterans Day parade from my window. Beautiful view of the harbor. The stay was perfect. The parking on the other hand…….wasn’t so perfect, yet workable.

My husband and I wanted to explore downtown Detroit and we stayed at The Executive Downtown Retreat, a beautiful condo style home for 2 days. It was in the heart of the city, close to amazing restaurants, the water was close walking distance and the apartment was beautiful. The check in process took a bit but once we had it and were able to locate the key fob it was smooth sailing from there. The check out process was super easy. We loved the entire experience and I would definitely stay there again and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends and coworkers.

This company is terrible at righting a wrong and customer service. We reserved a 2 bedroom unit at the full rate. We arrived to a leak, mold in the 2nd bedroom, and garbage in the unit. There were stains on the sheets and on the walls. We were advised to not use the 2nd bedroom due to the mold, and we also told that they did not have another unit to move us to. This is after paying the full amount. The company refused to contact me after emails and texts regarding my grievance, and did not offer anything to cure the situation. I do not recommend this company.

My fiancée booked a room in Detroit via VRBO with Envitae for a birthday celebration. Upon arrival, we were given notice of a leak in the unit's second bedroom closet and that the incident would be resolved prior to our arrival. As we entered the Unit, to check around, we were welcomed with a dingy pillow and a spray can of primer on the bed of the second bedroom. We immediately contacted Envitae - and after many emails and texts later (you will never talk to a live person) - we were graciously given a"complimentary late check-out" from management. Totally unacceptable. For our inconvenience, we requested Envitae to discount the first night only, but they humbly skirted around the request and chalked it up as a regrettable and negligible circumstance. The unit itself was ok. But I'm sure their own management or team members wouldn't agree with what we experienced, especially when marketing themselves as a luxury brand. Many of the negative reviews I've read align more with Detroit area bookings, not sure about other cities. You can see photos of this incident on Google.

Stayed at Arrive apartments in Baltimore via Envitae and we were so very impressed. Not only was the apartment beyond our expectations, but communication was always available and immediate. Couldn’t be happier and will stay again soon.

Envitae is not even worthy of a 1 star rating. We rented a condo in Charlotte for 3 nights and they did not show up to clean the unit until the last day we were there. The replacement sheets and towels were wet and folded in the linen closet. I was in constant communication with them and they offered no alternative accommodations and refused to refund a dime. Unbelievable.

This company uses AI technology and conceals room sensors to monitor air density for smoke and noise levels. You will be under constant surveillance. We needed a quick place in Detroit to attend a funeral/celebration of life in Detroit. We booked 2 nights because of what we thought was an ideal location. After receiving the check in and parking instructions containing more than 1,000 words we studied up and thought we were prep'd to check in. We declined the multiple messages to check in early for an extra $89 and arrived at 5pm. As we arrived- in heavy traffic- the only choice we had was to double park and then venture into a dingy, smelly alley to find and unlock a key box. The box was empty. What followed was a frantic text exchange of at least 30 messages to a generic 888 number to locate the keys. We were required to take a picture of the empty box and send it via email to verify that it was indeed empty. It turns out that the apartment was dirty and the management company was sending the local agent over to clean it up. The local agent told me that he had no notice that the apartment was rented. The management company stated that there was a team emergency which was a lie. We finally got into the apartment 2 hours later- missing our event with family. The prepaid parking pass we ordered did not work in the designated deck and we had to dispute the charges with the cc company. On the inside, we found bent vertical blinds on windows, broken trim stashed in drawers, dirty floors, marked up doors, half used full sized bottles of shampoo/body wash and the most dirty, dust encrusted air vent I've ever seen. I cannot recommend this place due to the way they treat their guests and a complete lack of oversight of local staff by the management company.

We booked an Envitae apartment in Chicago through Airbnb. When we arrived, the building refused to permit us entry and called the police.

It was very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. We had a couple of minor problems but the woman who helped us at the end of our visit (Kelsey) was extremely competent and assured us they would be corrected. I would give it 4 stars and recommend it to others. This was my first time at a bnb.
