While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. EnvKit is a free desktop app that runs your whole local web-development stack from one place, on Windows and macOS (Apple Silicon). It replaces the usual pile of installers, config files and terminal fixes with a single control room. With one installer you get nginx or Apache, several PHP versions side by side, MySQL / MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Mailpit for catching test emails, Node.js and Python. Every project gets its own .test address with trusted HTTPS, so secure cookies, OAuth callbacks and hot reload behave locally the way they do in production. There are no certificates to create by hand and no hosts file to edit. EnvKit is built for developers who work with Laravel, WordPress, plain PHP, and JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js, React, Vite, Angular and Express. You can create a new Laravel or WordPress site in one click, switch the PHP version per site, start queue workers and scheduled tasks, and share a local site with a client through a public link. When something breaks, EnvKit tries to fix it for you. It finds port conflicts, stale processes and bad configuration, explains them in plain language, and restarts only the service that needs attention. EnvKit also includes a built-in MCP server, so AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and JetBrains IDEs can manage your local sites, databases and services directly. EnvKit is free to use, with no account and no paywall. It updates itself in small downloads and is available in English, Arabic, German, Spanish and Persian. It is a modern alternative to Laragon, XAMPP and Laravel Herd. Download it at https://envkit.net. Questions and feedback are welcome on our Discord or at info@envkit.net.
