Rude. Tried to ask a question in live chat and they just said it's in the FAQ and ditched me without giving me a chance to explain why the faq didn't answer my question. Also really annoyed they are just ditching my charger and making it useless by removing the ability to schedule charging. Was going t ask about upgrading but I think I'll find an alternative supplier. Don't trust them not to literally pull the plug again.
Stay Away, awful customer service
Could not get the charger to work and so called customer service are completley useless. They take several days to reply with useless information. Had to remove charger and return in the end as it sat there for 2 weeks with us unable to use it.

I have been talking to Craig from AV and he has been the only one that has actually made me Happy! For the first time in nearly 6years of trying to sort out ongoing problems with EOn, And after paying £536! He was very understanding and gave me solid advice, I only wish I got to speak to him 5.1/2 years ago! , the stress he could have saved me, I am on the right tariff now, the right payment @ month plus I’m now on a monthly payment that I can pay myself by phoning in rather than a direct debit, he is a HUGE ASSET to your company, with whom I have had problems with from day one!, he is kind and patient and also he listens!!!, which is a huge part of understanding the needs of a 70yr old disabled person who is on pension credit. Other experiences that I’ve had previously as ended me coming off the phone in tears and so stressed!. I am very grateful to him for finally solving my ongoing problems with EON, what a pity the rest of the team don’t have what he has! Thank you Craig

Support non existent
2 year old charger stopped working due to an app issue. Support initially responded with the usual have you tried rebooting the unit etc. But when that didn't work their support team stopped responding despite me contacting them a number of times via different methods.

Mini pro 3 is absolutely hopeless stuck in boot up mode (white LED) tried everything the app suggests including changing wifi settings etc still nothing?! Customer service number is now online and sent them three emails/raising tickets asking for help/advice no one has answered me!! I cannot charge my ev what is the point in having an ev you cannot charge I need to take forced time off work because of the shitty software/app and clear lack of customer support

Waste of time trying to contact support, never return any emails or messages.
When i managed to connect on chat I just being asked for more info that should have been collected on the 1st contact. When I supply details, again no contact from anyone.

Don’t bother.we bought one just under 3 years ago.still in warranty.we have 1 month warranty left and it’s going to cost us over £300 as its just stopped working, no power to unit. i explained its still under warranty and because their charger has failed we have to pay out.i spent 4 hours on a chat platform (cant call them up, very convenient) i had the most unhelpful person who claims to be customer service.leaving 10 minute gaps between replying and im still without a booking of an engineer, nothing.absolutely appalling ! No apologies no nothing, no s***s given ! Shame on you AO

Disaster of a company, stay away, had a 9 months old charger went wrong and they washed their hand and told me to go away basically. Stayed it's obsolete, but I only had it 9 months

Mini Pro 3, bought from a website called AllAboutElectrics.co.uk Hasn’t worked after 4 weeks of use, called the support line and was promised a call back after 5 days, didn’t hear anything. 10 days later received an email advising a switch in off and on again. Replied to say this hadn’t resolved the issue, another 12 days passed albeit including a bank holiday and I received another email from the “technical team” asking if I’ve tried switching it off and on again clearly having not read my previous email. At this point we called the installation electrician who charged us £120 for 5mins to confirm the charger is a dud as it wasn’t an installation issue. Emailed EO and have had no communication to date, have called the retailer who will not honour a refund. Binned it and installed an an
Evec charger which is working happily no problems. Avoid this sham of a business.

1 week in charger doesn’t work which electrician has verified, app doesn’t work, customer services don’t respond, retailer won’t honour refund. EO Chargers do not work, avoid these cowboys at all costs.
Charger unresponsive after just 2…
Charger unresponsive after just 2 months. App never worked from day 1 and technical support is non existent. Got through to a call centre who advised I switch it off and on again, only to wait for a call back from technical support who emailed me and told me to do exactly the same thing. £400 completely wasted on a product that doesn’t work.
Avoid EO chargers
Avoid EO chargers, nothing works from the IQ to the information given on the charger. Information links on instalment and commissioning don’t work, you try to call customer service, and the phone just goes dead. I have installed a lot of EV chargers and have nothing but issues with EO chargers and setting them-up. It’s hard to explain to the customers that’s all the hardware is completed but I can’t set the unit because there is no technical support. Meaning a 7kw installed can do nothing more than a 13amp charger. Disgusting service and I would not bother wasting money on one.

My experience with EO Chargers has been deeply frustrating and mirrors what many others have already highlighted. The unit worked fine while under warranty, but not long after it expired, it stopped functioning altogether. Unfortunately, that’s where the real problems began.
EO’s customer service is virtually non-existent. They provide a contact number that diverts to a mobile, and no one ever answers or returns calls. Emails go unanswered, and there’s no meaningful support when you need it most. It feels like once your warranty ends, EO washes their hands of any responsibility.
For a product that’s supposed to be part of a long-term, sustainable solution, this level of reliability and lack of aftercare is simply unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a charger with better customer support and proven long-term performance.

charger broke just over 3 years old,. lucky for eo warranty has run out. customer services is a complete joke. get a different charger and save yourself the hassle.. would give e 0 stars if it was available, so 1 is generous
Poor after care once your charger is out of warranty
Charger stopped working mid charge. Phoned the company on Monday to report and get some advice. Told me that her system had crashed but took all my details and said someone from technical would ring back. Phoned the following day and spoke to a rude women that every question i asked she said 'it takes 5 days, is that ok'
Phoned back on Friday to be told no record of the call! So reported it all again. Phoned back the following Wednesday to check i was still getting a call. Spoke to a very helpful lady who said she would put a note on the file to say we would like a call back and apologised it was taking so long.
Called back Friday to say we hadn't had a call back, to be told once I had given the serial number , that's it's out of warranty so nothing they can do!! Couldn't someone of told me that at the start!! They did give a number to an electrical company who were very helpful. But you would expect more as the charger was not cheap in the first place

Absolutely shocking, non-existent customer service. QR code has worn off charger (due to weather) - customer service said they will email me a new one. Five weeks on… still nothing. Have called every week asking to be put through to someone who can actually do something - same answer every call: “We are not able to put you through to anyone, all we can do is escalate your case and add a note to say you are very upset”. My case must have been escalated so many times, I think I will be getting a call from the CEO if I ever get a call at all. Literally cannot use my charger just because they wont spend two minutes to email me a new QR code. Avoid avoid avoid!
Disappointed with EO Charging's Product and Customer Service
I purchased an EO home EV charger, expecting reliable performance and support. Unfortunately, the charger has worked intermittently despite being used less than 20 times. When I reached out to EO Charging for assistance, I was informed that my unit was out of warranty and that there would be a charge to inspect it. If a fault was found, the unit would need to be replaced entirely as it does not have serviceable parts.
I was extremely disappointed by the lack of a goodwill gesture or discount towards a new unit. As a customer who invested in their product, I expected better support and understanding. The suggestion to contact the complaints department if I was not satisfied only added to my frustration.
Overall, my experience with EO Charging has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend their products or services based on my experience.
The EO non-Charger
I had the misfortune installing an EO charger for my electric car three years and three months ago. There were odd hiccups but the biggest and terminal was just a month after the warranty expired in February 2025. Simply the charger kept cutting off after five minutes. I called their customer service (?) and was told variuosly it was due to fault with car settings and that the car could not cope with a faster charger than that supplied by the manufacturer of the car. When I told EO the car charged without any problems on other chargers, they hunted around for various excuses, including the comical assertion that the manufacturer had put a 80% maximum charge cap!
Eventually, I asked for the CEO's name and address and was told to go to look on the Website - not surprsingly no information was available on their Web.
Having researched and found their address on google, I wrote and there was no offer of help apart from asking me to send the faulty charger at my expense for their inspection and retention! It was time to give up.
My expensive experience with EO Charging cost me £550.00 in replacement, in addition to agony and frustration.
I trust the above will help save you from a similar fate. Do not instal this charger.

Poor product, not fit for purpose and zero tech support. Avoid and take your hard earned cash elsewhere.
Considering the cost of investment these are poorly made and break easily.
