FRAUD COMPANY!

This is a fraud company using a name which is similar to the name of a government organization. They will take your money and send you an email acknowledging the receipt of money. Then nothing will happen. Then they will call you to tell you there was a technical glitch and to retrieve your information, they will generate an OTP. Do not give this OTP or you risk identity theft on top of the money already lost.

The police should investigate this company and take action against its owners.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS FRAUD

It is a fraud

It is a fraud
The website looks very similar to govt site and the URL for govt site and this eparivahan.online are also looks same. When I visit the site I thought it is a government site and fill the details and pay 1597 rupees processing fees.
After money deduction they do not acknowledge that the receive any amount of money , I only get a mail that your details are received and your form will be processed in three days.

Nothing happened , I am trying to get my money back. I usually aware people to avoid this kind of trap but this time I got into it. So the chances are high that many people will get trapped Or many be already.
It would be great if someone can suggest how I can take my money back and is there a way to get block this site from government.

Thanks

EParivahan.Online - Scam Organisation

Scam Organisation - Be Careful of the Website, they go camouflaged under an identical name eparivahan.online, , while the actual government site is parivahan.gov.in.

I had registered for a learner license on the 19th Jan, 2021 and received a confirmation that the details would be shared with an online date for the test within 3 days, but didnt receive any confirmation until 9 days.

When finally someone called on the 9th Day, they mentioned that they are proceeding to fix a slot for the learners test and generated an OTP. When asked why are they asking for an OTP, but a lady (by name Pooja, sure this must be a fraud name too, as their organisation) mentioned that the OTP is necessary to fix the slot. When I told them that the RBI regulates sharing of any OTPs to anyone, including banks, she continued to argue and said that without the OTP, they will not be able to proceed with the slot booking. When I further argued that I will not share the OTP and if they should insist to proceed only with the OTP, then the transaction be cancelled and the amount refunded, the agent outrightly refused to refund the amount for it was, I who choose to opt out. When I informed that I will take this with the consumer court, then I was informed that they will refund the amount minus Rs.1000 out of the Rs.1500 that was paid, which is way too exhorbitant for any cancellation penalty. On arguing further and when I told them that I need the full amount, they threw the blame on me saying, that you you should have seen this all this information on their website. I dont think any website mentions that they will seek for OTP's on a call, unless it is passed thru a secured payment gateway.

This company is a HUGE FRAUD ORGANISATION and I would like this to be listed, so no other consumers are misled or embezzled. I will also appreciate, if someone can take this up seriously with the organisation and get my amount back at the earliest.

Lastly, I would insist or request any govt/cybercrime official to have this website blacklisted or blocked IMMEDIATELY, for they are operating under an identical name used by the government itself, which misleads consumers.
