EPHG offer an emergency electrician, plumber, heating engineer that is gas safe. Our business model is to firstly give our clients the best experience in there time of need and to raise the quality of service being given by trying to make contractors do a better job. EPHG currently have over 60,000 clients, 8 staff taking the calls and hundreds of contractors being a national company covering an estimated area of 98%. Even though our terms and rates are available online, we verbally explain the rates, take a deposit, ask our clients to reply to a text or an email in writing to confirm the agreement including rates over the phone before we start the work. If we don't get a written agreement, our clients can ask for the payment to be voided the same day or a refund any other day. Our aim is to raise the quality of service in many individuals with highly trained staff by trying to make sure you don't full prey to potential crooks or unprofessional trades.

Fast service!

The service was very quick, managed to get an electrician to come two hours after the call, bearing in mind it was late in the evening! The electrician managed to get it fixed a lot quicker than expected.

Excellent service

Electrical issue at holiday home. Super fast response from Ben & really helpful electrician, Keith, did speedy assessment then got everything sorted within the day. Holiday saved. Call out charges & hourly rates as it’s 24hr/rapid response all clearly laid out before hand & reasonable.

Great service all round.

Had a major problem with a leaky pipe so had to turn off the water early in the morning of the Jubilee Bank Holiday Friday. Rang and a most excellent emergency plumber was with me in just two hours, an hour later problem solved and water supply could be restored. Very pleased with the service all round

Toilet not flushing

ad an engineer with us within an hour of contacting. They worked really quickly and tidily and spoke me through everything he had done. Would definitely use again.

ELECTRICAL PROBLEM

CALLED EPHG TO SOLVE A ELECTRICAL PROBLEM . THEY GOT IN TOUCH WITH A LOCAL COMPANY TO COME AND SOURT THE JOB THAT WAS FINE . THE BAD NEWS IS THEY CHARGED ME 118 POUNDS CALL OUT FEE JUST TO RING SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE JOB I FIND THIS ABSOLUTLEY DISCUSTING . I WAS CHARGED ANOTHER 118 POUNDS BUY THE ELECTRIAN WHO DID THE JOB WHICH I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH

You was explained the rates very clearly over the phone, the rates would've been text to you to confirm our discussion over the phone which included the rates in writing. You would've replied to the text confirming you're happy with these costs.

I'm glad that the engineer we assigned to you did a good job and you have no problem with the engineer we sent you.

My only concern is, why did you accept the rates but wasn't happy with them.

Do feel free to send us an email to martin@ephg.limited so I can look into this to make sure the staff did everything as they should.

Please note that we're a national company, so we do have staff taking calls and we assign the closest engineer.

Our contract solution can be seen as way beyond most companies giving our clients peace of mind that they've come to a good company for transparency in costs where we also try to get our clients the best contractors over.

We keep decent engineers on our system and get rid of contractors that don't act as professional raising the bar of expectation. Client's that use our company seem to prefer this due to being let down so many times by business's not managed by companies like ourselves.

Had a problem with a shower

Had a problem with a shower that I couldn't fix and had water running non stop. Contacted EPHG on bank holiday Monday, prompt reply to the phone call, took details and they understood the problem. Plumber arrived in just over 60 mins, very polite, came in and sorted the problem very quickly. Also went on and finished installing the rest of the shower. Great service, full up front details of the costs and didn't vary from what they offered. Would recommend anytime.

Very efficient service

Very efficient service . Didn’t have to wait long for our allocated plumber to arrive due to a leaking pipe under sink, Plumber was a real gentleman and would not hesitate to use this company again in an emergency. Thank you.

Excellent emergency service

Late on a Sunday we lost all power to our house. We called EPHG and they first helped ensure there was an issue (not a provider issue) and then sent an engineer within an hour. The Engineer who turned up was extremely professional, polite and quick to work. The issue was fixed within the hour. I would highly recommend.

Bank Holiday weekend

Bank Holiday weekend, no heating or hot water. One phone call, came out and fixed it in no time - marvellous.
You certainly wouldn’t get that from a certain gas company I won’t mention

Our gas fire broke last night

Our gas fire broke last night. Contacted Emergency Electricians this morning and it now mended. Great service, friendly staff worth the little extra cost to be warm and safe.

Amazing response Amazing response time and sorted out the problem.

Arrived home from holiday 4 hours ago to find water gushing out of the underfloor heating manifold.
Rang EPHG who got a very nice competent heating engineer to our house within 30 minutes.
He sorted out the leak in about one hour and was thorough checking the whole heating system. Excellent service. Based on this experience I would recommend them highly.

Pipes rerouted at short notice

These guys saved us in a tight time crunch to keep out stove installation on track when pipes were found during the flue fitting. Plumber sent out was super friendly and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Worth the extra for the speed of service.

Baxi boiler Venturi problem.

The plumber arrived in good time and solved a problem with my boiler very quickly. The part was fitted and all done within an hour. Very pleased.

EXCELLENT THE BEST COMPANY AROUND After…

EXCELLENT THE BEST COMPANY AROUND After 2 really bad experiences with other companies going and then dragging out for time and parts which were not even needed in the end. These guys were fabulous from start to finish. Joe was over the phone really reassuring, explaining everything they could do. The Engineer Gary Brown was then there within an hour and completely fixed the problem. I can’t recommend these guys enough. Best company 100% use them.
Had another problem the next day Gary was straight out to help again I cannot recommended this company enough the best by far I’ve ever used. If I could give them 10 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing definitely the best company around don’t use anyone else

Burglar alarm misbehaving!

Had a minor emergency with a burglar alarm that was making some very antisocial noises! Rang EPHG and an electrician arrived within an hour. Problem sorted and the wife's shredded nerves returned to normal.

I'm glad the burglar alarm has been sorted. In most case with burglar alarms, the engineer generally only isolates it as burglar alarms can most of the times be specialist jobs. As I'm not sure which client you are, I hope your alarm is now working again.
