Bait-and-Switch Sales Tactics. They Take Your Money and Then Rewrite History.

Bait-and-Switch Sales Tactics. They Take Your Money and Then Rewrite History.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

My experience with EPIC TV has been one of the most dishonest customer experiences I’ve had.

I purchased a subscription after negotiating directly with one of their representatives. The agreement was crystal clear: $160 for 36 months. I have the entire WhatsApp conversation showing the negotiation, the representative agreeing to 36 months, me paying $160, and them thanking me for becoming a customer.

Fast forward one year, and my service suddenly stops working.

When I contacted support, I was told my subscription was only valid for one year.

When I sent them screenshots of the original conversation proving the agreement, they simply dismissed the evidence and said, “Where is the email?”

That’s an unbelievable response.

Why would I have an email saying it was one year when your own sales representative sold me 36 months? I was never sent any email contradicting the WhatsApp agreement. If your employee failed to activate the account correctly or your internal records are wrong, that is your mistake—not mine.

Instead of taking responsibility, EPIC TV chose to blame an employee who no longer works there and effectively told me that the promises made by their own representative no longer count.

Imagine buying a product, having written proof of the agreed price and duration, paying exactly what was requested, and then being told a year later that the company has decided the agreement doesn’t matter because the employee left.

That’s exactly what happened.

To make matters worse, this wasn’t a smooth year of service. I had to contact support multiple times because of blocked devices, login issues, activation problems, and repeated technical failures. Yet during every one of those conversations, no one ever mentioned that my subscription was supposedly only for one year. That excuse conveniently appeared only after my service expired.

This isn’t just poor customer service. It reflects a company that refuses to honor written agreements when it’s no longer convenient for them.

I am not asking for anything free. I am asking for exactly what I paid for and exactly what your representative sold me: 36 months of service for $160.

I have preserved the WhatsApp chat, payment proof, and support conversations. Anyone considering purchasing from EPIC TV should ask themselves one question:

If the company refuses to honor a written agreement with one customer, what guarantee do you have that they’ll honor yours?

Until EPIC TV restores the remaining two years of service that I purchased, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
