Epik has the best marketplace currently
Epik has had issues in the past, but has been A++ since the ownership change.
I have registered hundreds of domains with them and also SOLD quite a few through their marketplace, no issues with the cashouts ever either.

Switching domain registrars
Firstly, very convoluted and complicated interface.
Secondly, I bought a domain name and have been using it for my email. Out of nowhere, my domain expired, and they want $200 to retrieve it. I am now locked out of accessing many of my accounts now.
They said they emailed me multiple warnings that my domain was expiring them. I received emails on my other domains expiring, but not this one.
I asked them to forward me a copy of this email they sent to me, and they looked into it, and then said the "system won't allow them to do this". I asked them if there was anything they could do, and they said absolutely not. There was no flexibility.
I was also locked out for renewing for 30 minutes, when I have important business to conduct. I asked them if I could renew over the phone, and they said no.
Also, generally not a pleasurable experience with the person I was talking to. Having to repeat things 3 or 4 times, even when I was giving them the letters and the associated phonetics (a as in apple, l as in lima).
After I buy the domain they are "stealing" from me, I will promptly be transferring it to another domain registrar, along with all my other domains, and not recommending this domain registrar to anyone who wants good customer service.

Stole $3k from me
Sold a domain, never received payment. I used to think this was a good platform because of their easy options to sell and lease out domains. That being said, they stole $3,412.50 from me on the last sale I made through their platform on 12/20/2022. They sold my domain, deposited funds to their Masterbucks platform, I immediately requested withdrawal, and they just refer me to Masterbucks support who never replies, even after a year and a half of trying to get resolution. There's plenty of other reports of this, too. Don't trust this company.

Webside down for long time - no help from Epik

Seriously, where is customer service?
Seriously. They let me register an name with the word Google in it. They have a 5 day refund policy but I didn't realize I had made a possible error until the ninth day. Hmmm, I have a brick-and-mortar business, and if I were so petty as to not issue a refund 4 days after the deadline, where would my (or your) business be? It's so sad that keeping my $149 is more important than the potential thousands of dollars that they will never see because of their policies. My goodness, the guy I spoke to just kept texting his script in the chat and then even phoned me to recite the same scripts! I mean, really, why bother picking up the phone if your not going to help, he just kept saying we're here to help...but was he? I only ask because he didn't move an inch, wouldn't escalate my issue to a manager, and then closed the chat before I could add more comments. I'm so disappointed in this business, It's a sad commentary on so many businesses today.
Web Hosting Failure
They have been playing games with our web hosting, site was not accessible for three months until I was flagged by a customer and ask "support" to check access. They blocked our site on purpose and only restored it when we complained. Support appears to be non domestic US and third world in nature.
Epik.com web hosting is as bad as InMotion.com hosting, which we thought was the worst. We cannot recommend their hosting or their version of C-panel, buyer beware - run like hell if your thinking about using their hosting.
Customer Service Isn't That Hard!
I used to have a decent opinion of Epik, but they seriously dropped the ball on basic customer service. Admittedly, I missed the domain renewal date because I hadn't updated my primary email. When I reached out to Emily in the chat, she initially offered a $30 credit to resolve the issue. However, upon completing the transaction, the promised credit never appeared. Instead of taking responsibility, Emily blamed me for not following the correct procedure. When I simply asked for a $30 refund to my card, she claimed it couldn't be done, which is frankly ridiculous. Any reputable company should be able to handle a refund. I'm finished with Epik. There are other places to buy domains that are more reputable than Epik. Losing domain isn't a big deal compared to dealing with their awful service. Enough is enough.

Email service failures for business…
Email service failures for business related mailing lists; limited sending capability and whole lists of people not getting emails. Returned mails as "max defers". Legendary customer service is closed on Sundays? I can't even email support because my account is now frozen from "too many emails." Epik used to be that-- Epik. Something changed. Need to take business elsewhere for real reliability and support when needed.

Epik LLC has been on a self destructive spiral. Epik has seized the domain of many customers without any real explaination. Epik LLC has a history of publically slandering it's clients on social media. Unprofessional, and Unreliable.
