Epubor is virtually a scam. The software does not work well - or at all - and you have to download virtual Android this-and-that to remove the DRM on ebooks purchased on different platforms, which is silly since, for example, you can directly download Nook ebooks to your phone/computer.

When asking for a refund, company starts making up policies and deducting fees (for software that does not work without some serious fidgeting around with it) and refuses to refund the total purchase price.

Unless you have a very straightforward ebook situation (like you just purchased an ebook and want to convert it), this software is much too cumbersome for being paid software and all-in-one claims.

Calibre, which is free is a much better option with the plugin downloads (still free).

Best software ever to ultimate conversion ever

I have been using epubor for quite a while and it has always worked very well. Even after major updates from platforms they have always found a workaround to fix all the issues!

This software is very easy to use.
I have a backup and have it in carible.
I have heard that if your kindle book account is suspended, you will not be able to read the books you have purchased. I know this happens rarely, but in case it does, this software is an effective solution.

Epubor Ultimate is easy to use and does exactly what it promises. I was able to remove DRM and convert my Kindle books to EPUB in just a few clicks. The interface is clean, and the process is fast. Definitely worth it if you want to read your books on any device without restrictions.

I'd had ebooks spread across different systems for years—Kindle, Kobo, random EPUBs that I'd picked up here and there throughout the years—and honestly, it was getting tedious. I desired something straightforward that would allow me to have my library organized and, you know, actually be capable of reading my books on the device that was closest to me. That’s how I discovered Epubor, and it was exactly what I wanted. I have installed Epubor Ultimate due to frustrations with DRM lockouts and strange file types that could only be viewed with one program. The program claimed that it could convert and de-DRM my ebooks, and it fully delivered. It’s clean, modern, and extremely user-friendly. I'm not really computer savvy, but I had it all worked out within minutes—no instructions, no Google. I uploaded a huge number of Kindle files and converted them directly into EPUB and PDF with no ado whatsoever. And, yes, it actually strips the DRM (for personal use, of course), which then enabled me finally to be able to read my Amazon buys directly on my Kobo or iPad without having to jump through many hoops. The process was zippy, and even for huge batches of books, it didn't lag nor cause the program to crash. I actually had one tiny hiccup when I went to input the license—it wasn't serious, just a snag. But I sent an email to their support team, and they got back within one day and sorted it out pronto. That right there was all it took for me to know I was working with the right folks. =) What I cherish most is the freedom that comes with it. I no longer have just one app or device. I control my library how I want, have it backed up, and accessible with no restrictions. It’s really put the fun back into reading. If you're an ebook hoarder like me or are just someone who doesn't care for being locked into proprietary formats, then Epubor is worth every penny.
