Ordered a hat, arrived next day, despite being the correct size there was not enough crown height. Sam found one for me that was a much better fit and arranged return of the first hat. Second hat also arrived next day and fits much better. If, like me, you think you may need "extra" crown height don't assume that the correct brim size will necessarily provide this and make it obvious when you order. Excellent service and apart from sizing very good product.

Bought a foldable hat that didn’t fold. Hat was fine, tried it and was happy, until I tried to fold it. Made a crackling noise when I tried so followed their online guidance, steamed and retried. Ended up 3 cycles of steam and attempt to fold. Wouldn’t fold.
Not fit for purpose not as described etc. I returned it at my own expense, and was refused refund as not in re-sellable condition and I had removed the tab. Didn’t question that it would fold. Offered 50% or hat back. How could they re-sell a hat that didn’t fold?

I ordered my hat one afternoon, and it arrived the next day. As soon as I sent the order I thought I should have ordered a size bigger and used the cork strips if it was too big. And so it turned out, so I ordered the next size, and that arrived the next day too. The larger fits me perfectly, and is a beautiful hat. I can't praise this company enough.

This is a very efficient, high integrity company. My new Panama is superb and ethically sourced. I managed to lose the cork strips but Equal Earth responded so quickly to my email that within only a few days they were delivered to my home. Thank you to Sam and to Equal Earth. I will be back!

In March 2021 I bought a genuine Panama hat from this company. We went on holiday and I put my hat on the table at one of our favourite restaurants and a waiter knocked over a FULL bottle of RED wine and to cut a long story short it was RUINED, NO COMPENSATION WAS offered.I have since purchased ANOTHER one to replace the RUINED hat.
Sam at EQUAL EARTH has been unbelievable with helping with sizing,delivery and collection (as I am VERY disabled and can only get out rarely)
and trying to get a perfect fit.
Everything seemed to be going wrong but this company have gone out of their way to HELP me and resolve the problems we gave encounted.
I can not only thank them BUT also seriously recommended them if you are considering purchasing a Panama hat
