The information provided by the Equestic has been interesting. After each of my first few rides I received an email highlighting one of the functions tracked by the clip and suggesting things to work on to improve the results. These specific suggestions were helpful.

I would love to get regular recommendations for exercises or things to focus on in order to improve the three symmetry metrics. That would be a super value added for me.

The only thing I'm not sure of is the clip's accuracy on tracking direction. A few days ago, in the ring, I was very careful to do exactly the same number of times around/circles/serpentines/etc to the left and right. But the clip showed 37% going right and 63% going left. And then yesterday I did an out and back trail ride - but the clip says 10% to the right and 90% to the left. It should either have indicated close to 100% straight, or fairly equal left and right. So I'm not sure how it tracks direction, but it doesn't really seem to square with what I'm actually doing.

I’m finding the different measurements interesting and really appreciate the email feedback to help understand what and how each one is to be interpreted.

I have found the saddle clip to be excellent, it provides me with the information I need to adjust my horses training based on how he is performing especially as we are building him back up after a severe kick to the leg.

My gelding is a year from founder which we experienced July 2022, vet and farrier ok to ride April 2023, the Equestic for us personally has been an invaluable tool to measure the healing process and such a blessing as I have been able to track his recovery. He is showing great symmetry and balance and that is so reassuring. We are just low level dressage, but such a great tool that gives us guidance at this stage of his recovery. Your team even reached out when you saw stats way off the charts when we began riding again, a company who cares, what more can I say.

It is a super tool especially while I have been rehabbing my horse after stifle and hock injections that have taken weeks to settle down .

I don’t really understand what some of the data means despite being sent emails “explaining” it. Also, when I try to add a new horse, it rejects the new horse. It took three days to finally get the sensor to accept another horse.

Love this bit of technology. Easy to use and the information is very useful.

Useful information. Loo forward to exploring more of the content and seeing the trends in my riding. Very happy with the product thus far.

I am a senior rider - aged past my competitive riding days - but still focused on the technical aspects of effective riding. The Clip monitors any asymmetries of my own (declining) rider biomechanics, and any effect on my horses. So far, so good. The learning curve of this techie toy is worth mastering!

I've really enjoyed the Equestic Saddle Clip. I initially got it to keep track of simple things like how long we spend in each gait and in which direction, but having the extra information about things like symmery and impulsion have helped more than I expected. The emails I got explaining the results were a blessing because I couldn't have deciphered some of that alone. I have had it for so long it, it quit holding a charge. I reached out for help and was advised it was likely the battery. The staff was accurate and helpful, giving me the information I needed to change the battery, and it's worked like new ever since. 10/10, do recommend.

The Equestic Clip is a valuable tool that I bought to monitor how my horse's body is working as she starts to return from medical issues. It gives alot of info & it is important to download the online manual in order to properly see & understand the info & graphs. You are supposed to be able to leave your phone while you ride & then the clip will process the ride once it is near your phone again. I tried this once & after 7 hrs of letting it process, it still didn't download & I lost that ride. Otherwise, it works perfectly. You also get feedback from the company on your rides but that too has stopped. I'm not sure if that is just an initial courtesy or what.

I ride for fun, but I want to do best for myself and especially for my horse. The symmetry analysis of gait is was really drew me in. I'm using all the features now especially tracking how much time we work in each gait. It's been incredibly helpful for getting my friesian fit and loosing some needed weight. I use it for every ride. It also helps keep me accountable and track our progress.

I love the idea and the feedback. Wish it was easier to comprehend the data collected. I enjoy the emails with feedback occasionally.

This is my 4th clip because the spring mechanism on the clip broke on all 3 previously. ( 2 broke as I put on my saddle for the first time and one broke after 2 weeks of use and kept falling off my saddle)

I did find that on my saddles the clip shifts which probably changes the data collected. I’m a larger rider and my thigh tends to occasionally bump the clip from its position. I use a bit of saddle grip on my saddle where the clip goes to help keep it from shifting as much but that is a bit irritating. Happens in both my mono flap dressage saddle and my normal flapped jump saddle.

Altogether works quite well and is very easy to use .

Once again, the app reports that the data has not been analyzed, hours after a ride. This keeps happening.

In response to the reply to this review: Neither is the case, and your support team has been trying to figure out the problem for several weeks.

I like being able to track the movement of my horse to determine if he is feeling good during our workouts or if he is sore. It has helped to be able to change the way I ride to even out his movements to ensure he stays more balanced to help with muscle and joint issues that will arise if they are more one sided.

The Clip never turns itself off so is constantly running out of battery. Today we used it and half way through the training it had no battery and died… this has happened on numerous ocasiona which ends up making me waste my monthly subscription as most times the data is lost…

so far I really like the info I get from my rides. I’ve been able to adjust and figure out some things quickly as a result of the direct info. I also love the ability to track all my rides in an easy to see way

Really pleased I invested in my Equestic-I initially bought when I was rehabbing a horse to monitor symmetry but I love it so much I use it all the time as a simple effective training aid to see what youve done and what you need to work on. I would recommend it without a doubt!

It is interesting and useful to have the complex analytics for each ride and the trend analysis over a number of rides. Unfortunately, when I bought the clip, it was not made clear that a monthly cost was involved for the useful data. Only the basic, uninteresting, less useful data is free. This fact should be obvious when buying the gadget. I bought EQ from a vendor, not online. More useful would be trend analysis from month to month, not just over 20 rides.
