I had 2 foster kittens I was looking after for a small charity. They both had fleas and I took them to Alba vets Burntisland. They charged me £140 just to flea them. I wrote a letter of complaint and they sent it back to me in the post, no response, explanation or apology. Disgusting Customer Service. Shame on them.

They took great care of my wee cat when she got spayed. Even gave me antibiotics for something I didn't even know my cat had. Would definitely recommend them. First class

Been paying £38 a month fir the last 3 years had to take my dog as she has lumps along her tummy. I asked as I haven't had anything from them in the last 3 years would I be in credit was told no you've lost that money. This is over £900 they've had out me then they charged me £108 for the visit and meds. Would not recommend them to anyone it's all about the money for them they didn't care they had over £900 of my money. If your looking for a vet avoid this lot

Had been using this vet for 7 years for my dog, paying their pet care plan for all of this time at £18.99 per month. Phoned them because I found a lump on my dogs neck, they gave me an appointment a week later. I attended, the vet felt the lump and said he would take a biopsy and check it. Turns out fatty lump, nothing to worry about. They did his 6 monthly check up at the same time and gave me his usual flea and worming treatment. At no point when booking the appointment, during the time with the vet or thereafter when I checked if I had anything to pay to be told ‘no’ was there any mention of costs for anything. I presumed wrongly because we pay a monthly fee to them and because no costs have been mentioned that this would be covered. The next day they called me to ask for £83. When I asked why, they told me that was the consultation fee for the vet. When I explained that nobody has mentioned any costs, not at the point of booking, during or after the visit, the girl said I’m sorry that’s a mistake on our part. I am not happy with this service especially during a cost of living crisis. You wouldn’t take your car to a garage and them go ahead with doing work 1 without giving you a price and 2 checking you want it done.

They are by far the best vets for rabbits (I haven’t had any other animals treated by them so I can’t comment on that) the staff are so nice and value the owners opinion. The price is pretty great compared to other vets. They treated my animal with respect and care, I couldn’t be happier about the treatment I’ve received so far

Albavet is without a doubt, one of the nicest businesses I have dealt with.

The staff, from reception, right through to the Drs; all the staff make you feel welcome and important. No issue is too big or small for them to take on board.

Tom and Claire are absolutely wonderful. When we had picked up our puppy and he took ill 3 days later, they were so wonderful with him and us. They were more concerned with him getting well than asking us for payment upfront.

They contact your insurance firm directly, which takes the pressure of you having to submit the claim and get all of the info from the vet.

I could not be happier with Albavet, exceptional service. You can tell they are a team that really cares about the animals in their care and obviously love what they do.
