Resident appreciation
R̥ͦe̥ͦg̥ͦg̥ͦi̥ͦe̥ͦ, has been a great support r̥ͦe̥ͦg̥ͦḁͦr̥ͦd̥ͦi̥ͦn̥ͦg̥ͦ any lease leasing or facility questions..🏆
However regarding loyalty regarding long-term residents we don’t get any recognition or appreciation .. especially every year our lease goes up tremendously.. that lets me know that this agency is not looking for long-term loyal great residents.. residents that pay Early every month..we don’t smoke don’t drink don’t party take care of the facility .. we feel like they’re trying to push us out every year ..

A very good company to do business with. Harbor Steps, their property in Seattle, is very well run and maintained by a dedicated staff. We have lived there for 20 years.

I have lived here almost 2 years and few years ago I lived here one year, i liked it so much I came back. I like the lay out and the space, the people in the office like Linda that goes above and beyond to help your needs. The maintenance team is great, they always accommodate your request on their busy schedule.
I have lived here for almost 5 years…
I have lived here for almost 5 years and am very happy here. All of the staff are very friendly, professional and extremely helpful when an issue should arise. There is also continuous landscaping to ensure the property is well maintained.

Excellent place to live
Excellent place to live! Everyone is quite and friendly! The staff is also very friendly and professional! My only request would be for more trash cans in the area. People litter their trash everywhere.
No matter the location....excellent
I have lived at 2 separate Equity Residential properties and both have been pleasant experiences. I happily recommend Equity to anyone looking to find an apartment home.

Amazing Community and Service
I have been a resident in one of the Equity Residential properties for almost one year now and I'm so happy I made the switch to an Equity building! I have just entered the renewal period and while I have not yet resigned with Equity, I am confident that I will be choosing to stay in my new home.
From the moment I toured what is now my new apartment home, I've had nothing but positive experiences with all of the buildings staff, from the leasing office straight down to the maintenance team. I am not someone who frequently contacts leasing or maintenance but whenever I did have a concern or question, it was dealt with quickly and positively. Despite not seeing them often, the leasing staff always greets me with a smile and good attitude when I see them and I have become friendly with the regular concierge staff.
My apartment community is an inviting and safe space and I never find myself unable to use the common areas, which are always clean and well-maintained. The community events (at least the ones I have been able to attend) are always nice and the staff seems committed to building relationships with the residents.

I have been a resident here for two years and have truly enjoyed my stay. The office staff has been amazing, especially Eric. He is a gem!
Having lived in this building for over…
Having lived in this building for over 6 years, we have seen a lot of evolution with the changes from former Archstone to Equity. They have done some minor upgrades to the building but they really need to add more to the amenities like a pool to keep up with the newer buildings. The rent is astronomical, on par with newer buildings but there is not as much perks. It's always a renegotiation with leases since staying long term means your rent always rises and can be above market value. The elevators have been horrendous the past couple of years, being out of service one at a time. They will be doing upgrades supposedly this year which takes out one of 3 elevators for 16 weeks at a time which we are not looking forward to. The only good thing is that their service team (doorman, maintenance) are amazing which is why we have stayed plus convenience. This elevator situation might be the tipping point for us to leave this year.
Highly recommend
This is a clean, quiet, respectful and well run apartment complex. The management is responsive and genuinely care about the residents' satisfaction. Highly recommend to other respectful people who want the same.
Equity does not make smart decisions
Equity does not make smart decisions. Our elevators have been broken for years, they continually break down causing long delays. Equity decided to renovate the entrance/lobby (when it was completely fine) for millions instead of fixing the elevators because "it wasn't time yet." Additionally, tenants have asked for a key fob to be placed on a side door. When the quote came back for a few thousand dollars, it was denied, despite the multimillion dollar renovation already underway. We have also been asking for dog feces DNA testing because so many careless owners don't clean up after their dogs in the court yard. I have had to replace three pairs of shoes now because I have stepped in it while walking. Equity does not care about tenant happiness, only the bottom line. Eventually this will catch up with them.
“Happy to help attitude”
Prior requests takes forever to resolve. You would need to call them several times to work through it. I’m an Executive Assistant and I always have a happy demeanor and just a positive attitude when I deal with requests from my team. The people at the leasing office looks like we are a big bother every time we have a request or question of some sort. No smile or “happy to assist you” attitude. Also, there should be a stricter rule about smoking in the common areas of the property. I’ve seen people who have been smoking right in front of my face and it seemed ok with them. And another stricter rule to dog parents who won’t pick up after their dogs even if plastic bags are available around the property. I know these last 2 things I mentioned are not within your control but I just thought that it would be ok to voice it out. Thank you.
