I've purchased many items over the years and often a great way to grab a good deal on items. The problem occurs if something is not working, broken, not as described or falsely advertised - just expect that you never going to get your money back. Worst refund process is history. No explanations, illogical requests and rejections despite enough proof to throw OJ simpson away for life. Stick to ebay and amazon.

Much much better than TEMU, stuff always arrives a bit early, goods are typically in good boxes in comparison to TEMU , free shipping on most stuff if you buy more than $15 of stuff. What’s not to love ( cheap too)

Sent ripped socks and told I have to wait 48 hrs to see if they are going to refund me, even though the items I put hased were supposed to be new and undamaged

One thing to be careful with. Everything they sell is usually a knockoff of the original. The advertise a sale price for the item and then they have a shipping cost. They make profit off the shipping cost. I guarantee this because i've seen small items with extremely exaggerated.Pricey, shipping fees and seen larger, bigger heavier.Items with less shipping fees. At the end of the day, the price of the item and the price of the shipping fee is always going to be the same price amongst all ali express sellers.
Ex. Baseball hat
Store A-
price of hat $11.45
Shipping cost $ 8.94
Store B-
Price of hat $9,55
Shipping cost $12.08
No matter who you by the item from an alexpress, the price of the item and the shipping will always add up to around the same price. Give or take a dollar or two

I ordered OnePlus Buds 4 earbuds on April 24, 2026. The package has never been delivered. What followed is three months of being passed between customer service agents, receiving identical copy-paste rejections, and watching AliExpress repeatedly ignore both their own written guarantee and EU consumer law.
The order page explicitly stated: "Refund if not delivered before May 12, 2026." The package was not delivered before May 12. Instead of honoring this promise, AliExpress opened a dispute process that went nowhere.
DHL confirms the package is missing.
I contacted DHL directly. They confirmed in writing that the shipment has had "Parcel Missing" status since May 2, and that there is no registration of successful delivery whatsoever. DHL also confirmed that only the sender/the seller can open an investigation with them. The seller has not done this.
AliExpress repeatedly claimed the package was delivered.
Despite DHL's written confirmation of non-delivery, AliExpress continued to reject my claim stating the package "was waiting at a local post office for pickup." There is no post office in the tracking history, no pickup notification, and no delivery scan. Their own tracking shows the shipment stuck since May 2 — over 3 months ago.
EU consumer law is clear.
The official EU consumer rights page states: the seller is responsible for delivery and must prove the item was delivered. If they cannot, they must send a replacement or issue a refund. AliExpress cannot prove delivery — DHL explicitly denies it being delivered. Despite this, AliExpress has released full payment to the seller and closed the case as "Completed."
What I have submitted as evidence, all ignored:
DHL written confirmation of "Parcel Missing" status
17track screenshot showing 63+ days in transit with no movement
Screenshot of AliExpress's own guarantee on the order page.
What AliExpress has done:
Sent the same automated rejection at least 5 times
Promised "resolution within 48 hours" at least 4 times, never followed through.
Closed the dispute unilaterally without refund.
Released payment to the seller despite unresolved dispute.
Ignored every piece of evidence submitted.
Not honoring your own written guarantee, ignoring DHL's own confirmation of non-delivery, and closing disputes without resolution is not acceptable.

I placed two orders with Aliexpress:- One on June 26th and another on July 7th. I am writing this report on 7th August and neither of my orders have arrived and they are both well past their quoted delivery date. Both companies are not responding to my messages sent via Aliexpress message centre and their refund application for claims is totally confusing and time consuming at all stages of my claim. They put obstacles and confusion as their main objective. I realise I have lost my money to these rogues and I urge all reding this to avoid them like the plague.

It has now been four weeks since I supplied all the documents AliExpress requested for my agreed return postage reimbursement of £18.78. I have still not received the vouchers or any explanation for the delay. I hope AliExpress will now resolve this matter promptly.

My shipment never arrived, and support’s "solution" was an offensive €1 coupon. Worse, the agent intentionally dragged out the chat until the code expired just to dodge accountability and close the ticket. Pure fraud.
If a company is this broke and desperate over a single euro, they are on the brink of collapse. Never give them your money. Temu actually delivers, and they don't play cheap, predatory games when things go wrong.
To readers: Ignore their upcoming automated PR reply pretending "we want to make this right." It’s a fake, templated lie to mask a completely corrupt operation.
If a company is this desperate and morally bankrupt over a single euro, they are teetering on the edge of insolvency. Do not trust them with a single cent. Temu actually delivers what you pay for, and when an issue arises, they treat you like a human being instead of pulling cheap, deceptive stunts.
To anyone reading this: Ignore whatever canned, damage-control response they paste below claiming "we want to make this right." It’s a completely fake, automated PR lie designed to trick future victims and cover up the fact that their customer service is an absolute fraud.

Received prompt delivery of vacuum cleaner suction hose but it did not fit my vacuum even though the website said it did. I contacted them to initiate a return but they argued that it did. I just wanted to return the item as it is unusable. They have blocked communication with me and have accused me of being fraudulent. I am a 68 yr old house wife, who is really the fraudulent one? I hope through this review they lose much more then the purchase value of the suction hose. Do not buy anything from AliExpress

I would say very careful ordering from them. You can’t return. They describe one thing then they send you completely wrong thing. They got automated responses so annoying. I ordered floodlight cameras two of them they sent me indoor camera which is completely different. I tried to return, they keep sending me messages saying your evidence is not sufficient so your case is closed. I appealed three times, same result, automated response!! Very frustrating!! Now I got £54 worth of cameras that I can’t use. Bad customer service don’t order!!

I ordered an item for delivery by 4th August. It's been stuck awaiting a flight for the best part of two weeks, that is, if it is even in transit. AliExpress's refund process is designed not to process problematic transactions ("If you don't receive your order by {0}, you can apply for a refund." - whatever {0} means!). So it has gone to PayPal and when they get snarky, it'll go onto the Financial Ombudsman. If AE does respond, I expect it'll be one of these crocodile tears apologies generated by a cheap Chinese AI bot with no actual substance behind it (which should be: CEO of AE gets the product, gets on a plane and delivers it).

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I used to love Aliexpress, they were great, never issues with refunds or returns. Now I get damaged items or dont get the order at all! Despite providing multiple proofs they refuse to refund or even investigate.
I have asked them multiple times if my proof isnt sufficient what proof is? They closed my “requests” saying THE SAME THING EVERY TIME. They keep saying I have not provided sufficient evidence and they are closing the request, without even replying to any questions.
They are either using some really dumb AI or just have set automated response to send to all customers. TERRIBLE, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM ANYMORE!!

Ordered 4 items but received 3 in a plastic bag , they wanted photo/video evidence of missing item so gave photos/video of packaging and items I did receive, they refused my claim on insufficient evidence , in other words I am a liar and a fraud

Is a joke when your purchase doesn't show up as expected, customer service is AI or contact with a service person, but either way a big joke and to no help, best advice, stop buying from this platform.
And a simple thing as opening a dispute appears to require a university degree, maybe so people give up their claim.

My daughter ordered a Debs Dress from Maria Girl Dress Store, on Ali Express. It was expensive so before we paid, we checked we would be able to return if it did not fit or was not suitable. It cost €131, so quite alot. It arrived yesterday and it is awful. It doesn't look like the dress advertised on the website at all. I took my daughters measurements when placing the order to get the exact right size, but the dress is way too big. Her chest is completely exposed in it. The dress is also extremely long, with tonnes of chiffon and a long train at the back. Again, not like the dress on the website. We asked to return it for a refund and the seller said she cannot accept it back due to a customs issue!! We have asked Ali Express to step in and help us with the return and refund but no joy yet. The seller has offered a refund of €25 which is completely unacceptable. My daughter cannot wear this dress, her chest is not covered. Also, it is of poor quality and does not look the way it was advertised. We want to return it and get a refund, which I think is our right under Consumer Law? I'm hoping someone at Ali Express will see this and can help.

Deliveries take way longer than estimated time. Often sitting weeks without any update to tracking. They keep extending the delivery date to avoid refunding.

Re: Hoegoa Rosemary Hydrolyzed Keratin Shampoo Anti Itching Oil Control Refresh Damaged Hair Repair Fluffy Organic Shampoo for Hair.
AliExpress replied to my original review requesting more details and the order # which I cannot possibly provide since I logged in with my Google account and did not create an account when placing the order several months ago. I have several photos of the side effect which this shampoo has caused on my phone as proof but there is no way that I can attach them on this platform. AliExpress should have better communication options. All I can provide here is the username that the app automatically created. Maybe that will help? The username is CA20260622LFPn.

I ordered three identical wall lights. The first arrived broken. Because I hadn’t filmed myself opening the parcel, AliExpress refused to refund me. Expecting customers to record themselves opening every delivery just in case an item is damaged is completely unreasonable.
Having lost confidence in the product, I returned the other two lights as soon as they arrived. AliExpress approved the return but couldn’t provide a prepaid postage label because of a technical issue, so I had to pay about £8 to return them myself. I sent the parcel using tracked postage and provided the tracking number.
About a month later, AliExpress rejected my claim, saying I hadn’t provided a photograph of the postage receipt, even though they had the tracking information and had already received the parcel. They now have the items, I’ve lost the postage cost, and they’ve refused to refund me.
When I tried to appeal the decision, the appeal page simply returned a 404 error, making it impossible to continue. That perfectly sums up my experience. The website works well when they’re taking your money, but when you need customer service or need to return something, everything seems to fall apart.
I’m now over £50 out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
I’m sure AliExpress will probably reply to this review saying they’ve investigated my case or asking me to contact them again. Based on my experience so far, I have little confidence it will lead anywhere other than another dead end. Unless AliExpress is genuinely prepared to prove me wrong by resolving this properly, I don’t see the point in going through the process again.
I’ve accepted that the money is gone. I’m writing this review simply to warn others. I wish I’d paid more attention to the other Trustpilot reviews before ordering. If anything goes wrong with your order, don’t expect the after-sales support to be anywhere near as good as the buying experience.
