Holafly eSim for Dubai and then for Paris to Prague
We used a Holafly eSim in Dubai for 6 days and then a second eSim in Europe for 23 days from Paris to Amsterdam to Budapest then to Prague. The eSims were easy to set up and the coverage was very good for the month.

What a great seamless service this was. My first time using an e-sim after a few years of the 02 bolt on £7.50 a day. my 6 days in Dubai was £20 and it was smooth and efficient. Already ordered for my 3 week trip in Goa in January 2026

After the problems with the connectivity they refunded us
After the problems with the connectivity in the Philippines, I was in contact with Holafly. After a number of attempts, they did arrange the refund which has now been received. We used them in Dubai and it worked fine. I will try one more time on another trip and see if there is any improvement.

I went yo Dubai and I had coverage when people using other eSims were struggling. I was able to make whatsapp calls and send messages without having to get a VPN which helped alot.

Disappointing Experience This Time! A Complete Waste of £90
I used Holafly last year for Dubai and it was absolutely amazing, so I didn’t hesitate to buy again this year. Unfortunately, this time it was a completely different experience. The eSIM barely worked, extremely slow and very intermittent connection.
I contacted support, who went through the usual basic checks, but nothing worked. It was then escalated to tech support, who also couldn’t resolve the issue. I even did a full network reset on my phone, but that didn’t help either.
The craziest part is that I bought three eSIMs! One for myself and two travelling companions. All three of us had the same issue. We all have new iPhones, and we all used Holafly last year without a single problem.
This time, it was genuinely a waste of money and very disappointing, especially after such a great experience before. £90 down the drain.

Excellent option for an eSIM abroad. Easy to use and good value. Customer service on hand to help with any issues and very responsive. I used my eSIM in Dubai and was easy to set up and data provided / speed of internet was fantastic. I would recommend using Holafly on this basis.

Sims for 2 people Thailand and Dubai
I purchased 6 Sim cards. 2 for Dubai on stop over to Thailand, 2 for Thailand and 2 for return stop.
Had a few issues with Roaming etc and installation of 3 sims.
We had to resort to using our normal provider at times at an additional cost.
Staff did try hard to resolve the problem.
Update..
On discussing this with Customer Services, the matter was resolved and any out of pocket spend was refunded.
Very happy with outcome.

3rd time i use Holafly
3rd time i use Holafly. The first one was about 2 years ago, we used Holafly e-sim for Thailand, Phuket for 10 days. E-sim installation takes few minutes and it’s very easy. Everyone was happy about the connection and speed. The second one was for Thailand as well and the last one for Dubai. Amazing experience again. No complaints, there were connection and good speed everywhere, even in other emirates, not only Dubai. Really recommend it 👍🏻

If you’re travelling to Dubai and wish to use WhatsApp to make your calls, choose another method than Holafly. They failed to mention that Dubai blocks all voice calls and so the £64 spent was a waste of money.
I gave it three stars because United data for receiving emails and message good.
It would have been cheaper to pay my provider.
