Calls on WhatsApp did not work when in Dubai. Paid for 9 days on 4 ESims and no calls worked on WhatsApp, incoming or outgoing. Would not recommend.
Emailed customer support when I got back and asked for some sort of refund. They told me that sims had expired and if I had contacted support on my trip. I said no, as I wanted to contact when I got back. We just ended up using hotel WIFI. Lesson learnt. Won’t be using the service again

I bought the e-sim for me and my family for our 4 day trip in Dubai and 1 day in Paris. I really like this one because it's really cheap and easy to set up if you follow the instructions. Things to remember:
- you must purchase the e-sims when you have wifi and download the app if you need to!
-the sim is DATA ONLY there is no calling available with it. When you set up the sim, you set your primary phone line to calling. So any calls you make with be billed to you primary carrier.
- make sure your primary carrier data roaming is OFF before you set up the e-sim just in case something goes wrong and you don't set it up right.
- if you purchase one too many e-sims, Holafly customer service responds super quickly. Just give them your order number and they will see how many were not used and refund you for them! I received my refund within a couple days. (WhatsApp is the fastest way to communicate with them, but email also doesn't take too long)
- there are little discounts when you refer a friend or it's your second time using it, so keep an eye out for the code in your email or on the app.
- last thing! I noticed when I needed to purchase the e-sim for only one day, I was not able to do it through the app, I needed to purchase it on the website. The app gave me a min 3 days which was too much.

terrible experience I saw this ad in Dubai and decided to buy it for Brazil for 18 days despite the helpdesk which is not really helping could not install the system properly
No, I am back home. I cannot even use my original carrier because of that eSIM.

Solid connection, five bars most of the time, between 20-40Mb down / 5-25Mb up.

In September, I purchased a 30-day eSIM for the UK. However, I experienced an issue and couldn’t reach anyone for 30 hours. As a result, I left a negative review on Trustpilot. They finally got back to me at the 40th hour and explained that the delay was due to a technical issue. They issued a partial refund and were very polite and cooperative throughout the resolution process.

Since then, I’ve used Holafly three times in Dubai and once in Montenegro.

I’d like to say that I was very satisfied and didn’t encounter any issues. I highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling.

Very fast and quick with helping me, even tho my phone is in another language. The 5G is alsoooo amazing. I’ve used it in the Dubai desert and it works better than wifi. Also, for the price you pay it’s amazingggg. Very cheap.

Their service is not good in Dubai, I recently spent 10 days and my internet stopped working after first few days. Only thing that worked was WhatsApp chat, no browsing or calls I could make. Getting in touch with their customer service was a struggle. Slow replies, in the end I gave up and got a local sim. Avoid

10/10! Took out 12 days unlimited date while in Dubai and it worked perfectly, worked from the second I got off the plane. Quicker than the wifi in my apartment! Easily used 20/30gb in 2 weeks with no data cap and it was £15/20 cheaper than competitors.

Just used Holafly for the second time.
First was in Turkey then Flew to Dubai. Very simple instructions and so easy to use.. Will definitely use everytime I fly out of the UK.
Great coverage and no issues whatsever.

We used holafly as uk travellers to Dubai. We could easily contact work or family members on WhatsApp either via text or call no problem. Would definitely use again.

No faff just the internet when you need it.
Price superb and very easy to install.

Awful. The service in Dubai was appalling- I was travelling with someone else who had great roaming service using another provider. The customer service has been dire - refusing to refund for not providing the promised service. This is a scam outfit best avoided. Typical of these new generation e companies that will harvest your cash and then have no recourse. The customer service is moronic - likely bots or morons that deliver the scam company messages when refunds are requested. Avoid.

Used abroad in Dubai and worked flawlessly, fast speeds and calls were better outdoors than on local WiFi connections. Could do with a better step by step explanation on how to configure though but all in all, excellent!

Second time I justed Holafly. First in Turkye now in Dubai and it works great! If something isn't clear for you, you can easely ask questions through whatsapp. I can really advise it.

Used Holafly for a trip to Dubai. It was reasonably priced and gave great coverage whilst I was there. £25 for 10 days of unlimited data. Will use again when I venture outside Europe.

Excellent E-Sim - Would use again !!!

Purchased Holafly E-Sim for my trip to Abu Dhabi for 2.5 weeks in August 2024. The E-Sim worked perfectly and was easy to setup. Also, the Customer Service team were fantastic and support was available 24/7 via Whatsapp. I also recommended this to my family who flew out to Dubai and they too would definately use again.

I purchased 2 esims.

First one worked but connection was awful awful.

2nd one I did didnt actually work from scannng the QR code. I tried speaking to chat and the website as well as their app was DOWN. Horrid inconvenient service. You also can only hotspot 500mb per day.

I purchased the same thing from Etravel Sim and got instant connection in Dubai and the hotspot is unlimited like the sim card - therefore getting what I paid for.

It was simply flawless. We used Holafly in Dubai and Turkey (three different locations here) and the internet worked perfectly fine!

Saved a fortune and provided secure and safe connectivity whilst my son and his partner were in Dubai which would habe cost a fortune with their contract provider in the UK

I've used Holafly twice. Kenya and Dubai. In Kenya I was worried I'd get really bad single but that wasn't the case! I had 4G pretty much everywhere and I went areas where I didn't expect to get a signal. I had an issue in Dubaï because the Holafly still had Kenyan esim but that was resolved in less than 10 minutes once I reached a human customer service. Step by step guide and it was resolved. Very Quick response. Highly recommended, especially when you hotspot others and they ask you how you have connection it's a sly flex letting them know about Holafly.
