Course is not easy, but fascinating and exciting. I can discover new views and compare originaly inspired words with some translations and find new sense and understandig of the biblical texts.

I love the learning material and the way mr John teached us, step by step and encouraging.

The teacher has shared some very interesting insight in the development of the Hebrew language and I like his way of teaching

I can honestly say that I have had the most knowledgeable teachers, concerned support staff, and an attractive list of course offerings that I have ever had in my 50+ years in academics.

The approach of the curriculum and the character and expertise of our teacher has made this thus far a rewarding and inspiring opportunity to learn.

I am really enjoying the program and it has helped me to know the things I did not know before. I am so glad that so far I know the Hebrew alphabet and also I know some words that I didn't know. I am so excited that now somehow I am able to read the Hebrew text though I do it very slowly. I believe I will improve and gain more. If it is okay, after this language course it will be so great to learn the customs and the world of the Ancient Israel. Thanks.

Learning outcomes are often the result of the expertise of the teacher and his/her ability to motivate the students. My teacher in Biblical Hebrews is both. I thoroughly enjoyed my class in Biblical Hebrew.

I love the profs, the course content, and the way they are taught. Highly recommended!

I would like to see the Torah class be set up to learn the Torah. Not just a small part. If possible it would be wonderful if you had classes for all the books in the Torah, and the new Testament. I have many question and this would be very helpful. The classes are great. I have learned much in a large variety of topics. The Teachers know there content.

One improvement i must say that we should be able to keep our recordings at all time. I lost my level A and B . I didn't know we were supposed to download them.

I really appreciate the course and teachers but for me as an introverted person there are some inconveniences. They send like five reminders in a row and calls me. Two reminders + a call would be enough.

So glad to be doing Biblical Hebrew Course E with Israel Institute of Biblical Studies with a teacher who is at the top of their game. Real depth of knowledge and can make helpful connections with the history, context in the bible and linguistics as well as to modern Hebrew. As part of my job I had to rate teaching and Beth HH would definitely have been rated outstanding. The homework helps to consolidate and Beth always asks whether we have any questions about the homework in case there are things we need some help with. I really feel that all that I have learned in previous courses is being brought together which is great.

It was a great joy to study Biblical Hebrew Level A with teacher Malka Kotzer and students from different parts of the world. I wish I had the opportunity to study Biblical Hebrew earlier in life. The course material was pedagogic.

This is the best set of teachers I’ve had and I’ve doing this for 2 years now. I can actually understand what they teach and can ask questions without being degraded or aggravated at me if I don’t understand something love it now

The teachers and materials for this course are outstanding. Weekly class interaction with the instructor and with classmates in a small online group setting makes the course a very special learning experience. The ready availability of the instructor by email for questions outside of class is fantastic. This course is as good as any in-class course I have taken or taught. Tutors treat students with respect. Educational material was easy to follow. I liked the availability of Recordings and Study Materials online.

I’ve appreciated the structure and schedule of my Hebrew A level class over these past few months. Our teacher has been very helpful, very encouraging and I’ve enjoyed getting to know my classmates as well. While I feel like I’m stumbling a bit at times, I appreciate the push to read out loud during the class time as it really helps us all push through our struggles to actually learn the text. I like the challenge, enjoy the surrounding story of the text and look forward to continuing on in the journey as time and budget allows. Thank you!

I longed for this experience for years, but the reality exceeds my dream. Instructors are so thorough I feel sometimes as if I have flown back in time to chat with the patriarchs, Joseph, Y'shua and Paul. Instructors and staff are as approachable as they are knowledgeable.

The timing, the teacher and the teaching, I'm satisfied with everything.
