How can a company get away with admitting they used subpar materials, and then charge the customer thousands of dollars to return it?! They are nothing but THIEVES!
I ordered a couch from Eternity Modern on September 21st 2023 and the couch arrived December 20th 2023. After unpacking all 7 boxes, we quickly realized the couch had horrendous build quality. The fabric on every single piece has flaws, which honestly, is the least of our problems. They offered replacement covers, but if the brand new ones are messed up, how would sending different ones be any better and what will those look like after 6 months of use? The name of the couch is extrasoft and we ordered the seats in the 2 softest options offered, yet they are rock hard….like if you sat down quickly, it would know the wind out of you. What’s even worse, the couch (that is supposedly down) crinkles loudly like you’re sitting on a plastic sheet. How embarrassing! I emailed them immediately letting them know of the flawed build quality and that I would like to return the couch for a full refund. After sending them all the proof they requested, they took 9 business days to tell me that they will let me keep it and refund $1500, or replace it with another one. If they couldn’t make it right the first time, not sure why I’d have confidence in them making it right a 2nd time. After declining the offer, they said they don’t normally offer refunds (also a lie), but they would make an exception (with me taking an almost $3k hit) to return it. If I was simply changing my mind and no longer liked the style, I’d be happy to pay the price. I, as the customer, did not make the horrible quality product, therefore I should not be the one financially penalized for receiving the terrible product and needing to return it. Stay far away from Eternity Modern if you don’t want to be shipped garbage products and then charged thousands to return it.

I purchased a coffee table and have encountered numerous issues regarding communication and logistics. The confusion started when conflicting information was provided by their logistics team. Initially directed to pick up the item at one location, I later received different instructions without confirmation. Despite my efforts to clarify and confirm the pickup at the Los Angeles location, I faced further challenges upon arrival. The staff at the designated pickup point did not speak English and were hesitant to release my coffee table, causing significant inconvenience after a long journey from San Diego. I was relieved to eventually connect with someone who spoke English, and they even expressed frustration about the company directing customers to that specific warehouse. Nobody was even able to assist in carrying the heavy coffee table to my car and I had to find someone to convince who used a crane to pick it up. This contradicts the information on your website, which mentions a closer and more accessible warehouse in Irvine. This entire ordeal has led me to question the reliability of this service, and I had to go to great lengths to secure my purchase. Considering the inconveniences faced, I believe a refund for the pickup charges is warranted, as I initially opted for pickup due to the misleading information provided. I would appreciate their prompt attention to this matter and request clarification on when I can expect the refund to be issued. Additionally, I hope steps will be taken to improve communication and accuracy in the future, ensuring a smoother experience for their customers.

We got the EM Sky Bed last summer and we love it! Their packaging and shipping service was very impressive. we didn’t need to get any service after, everything was a smooth process. Since we had a good experience with eternity modern. We didn’t hesitate to get our family room arm chars from them. I was little worried about the leather condition of the chairs but they came great. you can also ask for swatches but I just wanted it fast so I ordered and got it perfectly! We love the two furnitures(bed n arm chairs) quality and service!

I bought an office chair from EM last week, the product arrived damaged in the box, informed them right after opening, horrible customer service and low quality made product.

I love it!!!! I recently purchased an EM Lounge Chair & Ottoman (a beautiful reproduction of the one by designer Herman Miller) from Eternity Modern. It is both a constant aesthetic joy and unparalleled in comfort. I'd been dreaming about it for years and found it there, in Vancouver, at a really reasonable price for such quality. I live in Montreal (province of Quebec), and was really impressed by the quality of the service provided - from initial inquiries, details and delivery, to cleaning advice and after-sales service. I can't recommend this outstanding team enough, and I'm already looking forward to my next purchase from them!

From the time I ordered this chair and ottoman and until it arrived there were no issues. The chair is everything I expected. I would definitely recommend Eternity Modern if you are looking good quality products and reasonable pricing. The packaging the chair came in was exceptional and you wouldn't need to worry about delivery damage.

Ordered swatches and then placed my order for my mario bellini sofa, which arrived 3 months later as expected. The sofa is gorgeous - silky soft velvet, great style and comfort. So pleased with this sofa!

Amazing dupe! Great quality and the different lights are amazing. Delivery was fast and easy. Only issue is that they make you pay more for the giant box to be removed taken away.

Worst customer experience ever. I ordered the Mario Bellini couch on September 10 with a 5-7 day delivery. A month later it still hasn’t arrived. I paid for white glove delivery but they only deliver one day per week. Additionally, when selecting a delivery date I was prompted with a message stating that there was an outstanding balance preventing the delivery because Eternity modern didn’t pay the delivery company. I still don’t have a delivery date or an update from the company. STAY AWAY!

I am definitely satisfied with the purchase of my lounge chair at Eternity. After reading mostly positive reviews of the lounge chair I decided to order one. The chair is of high quality and super comfortable. Delivery took about 10 days.

Gorgeous, well made product (Kaia coffee table) as well as excellent, responsive customer service. Delivery was smooth and very accommodating.

Andrew is a consummate professional. He loves the EM product and engages with your project to create your dream space. EM furniture is classic modernism at it’s best. We purchased a Soriana leather sofa for our quintessential mid century home, and it’s magnificent.

I love the pieces I purchased from Eternity Modern! The furniture is very well made and stylish. The artichoke lamp in brushed silver is stunning in the entrance to our home. The walnut tulip end tables complement the family room furniture well. The tulip chair is a nice addition to the guest room. Very pleased!

Haley on the Customer Care Team was very helpful when I had issues with my delivery (totally on the part of the third party delivery service). She was responsive, and worked quickly to resolve my concerns. And of course, my Womb Chair is amazing! I would definitely recommend Eternity Modern.

We read mixed reviews but the original version of what we wanted was prohibitively expensive - it felt worth the risk for us to order through Eternity Modern. We had them send us fabric samples and then designed the layout of modular couch we wanted online. It took a while (but not longer than expected) to receive the two pieces but they arrived in perfect condition. The fabric color was consistent, the feel was soft as expected, the couch is comfortable and great looking. All in all we had a very positive experience and would order from them again.

By far the best purchasing, communication, and delivery experience I’ve have ever had! It was a long wait, 12 weeks, but once it started to wrap up and make its way to me I was contacted. I appreciate the outreach if I was ready for delivery in the case I had moved or was renovating. Very thoughtful that they reached out before hand because people move and things shift in 12 weeks. I will always choose white glove delivery. They were so kind and professional unlike other shipping companies. I literally gasped out loud when I saw the Terrazza sofa set up. It’s so beautiful. There is a minor nick that happen in production and the company is already working with me to prevent the cut from spreading. Great experience, gorgeous product! Highly communicative as a company.

Update: I went through claims and they were pretty quick in investigating if the shipping company or the manufacturer made the little nick. It’s unknown but they did reach out to send a repair kit which I find to be a good response. I was a little put off when the shipping company contacted while I was at work to ask if they had done something wrong. I told them the same thing I told claims that I don’t believe it was damaged in transit not for such a small nick in the fabric.

On a separate note if you are ordering smaller items make sure you are able to be home and sign for them. My FedEx is making the retrieval for a small item really challenging and I was not notified until the day before I needed to sign. I work a 9-5 so I have to take sick days or vacation or ask in advance to work from home. We are not all remote anymore so I wanted to make sure that’s mentioned for small, decorative items that are not white glove or a large furniture piece.
