Shockingly Bad Service

We've experienced an embarrassing failure of service from a supposedly reputable organisation. Sadly, this appears to be a recurring theme based on the other recent reviews I can see below. We've been left high-and-dry for a car-seat we ordered 15 weeks ago (order date of 13 Jan) with a new arrival due in 2 weeks. We have paid up in full. We have had to chase them repeatedly to get our buggy delivered, even that was 4 weeks later than their commit date. No reasons, support or assurance provided. We've been pawned off by countless customer service representatives at this point. No one seems too bothered, they're happy to take our business without any desire to fulfil their end of the deal. Simply appalling, especially considering their clientele (expectant parents) have enough to be worrying about as it is.

AVOID

I don't like writing bad reviews but I feel it's important to let people know so they can avoid hassle in an already stressful time. Seeing a couple of recent reviews with similar experience to mine, I had to write something, we ordered double buggy I candy and were promised 6-8 weeks. After the time had laspsed, we chased up, email,phone calls etc, always had to chase and no one ever returned calls or even responded to emails . Half my order arrived week 11 partially damaged and the remainder after plenty of chasing and very little back from the company, the remainder arrived week 13. From my reading of the situation I got sorted because I shouted loudest. If you need to order something big, go elsewhere to ensure you are not left without it.

Don’t buy from Here

Went with my partner back on the 7th January to the swords store. Our first baby so full of excitement about buying his pram and car seat etc.

Picked the Bugaboo Fox 5 in the colour we wanted and traded up to the Cybex reclining car seat. Left the store more than happy after reassurance from staff that we could pay in instalments and could collect our bundle the first week of April 2024.

We made 3 journeys to the store to pay off the remaining balance and each time asked would the bundle be ready the start of April each time we were given assurances that it would definitely be here the first week of April. We went to the store again 2 weeks ago and again enquired as to when it would be available to collect. The girl we were dealing with checked something on the computer and her words “Your down for collection the start of April” and we could pay off the balance when we collected our bundle.

My partner received a call again reassuring us that we could collect our bundle the start of April.

Today 2nd April 2024 I rang the swords store and spoke with a Pauline and Eimear. I was informed that the bundle we paid over €2k for wouldn’t be ready until the end of April. No apology, a very “Not arsed” attitude and zero empathy that they haven’t got what we ordered.

I was told that the suppliers wouldn’t ship the consignment until it was a bigger order and as a result our bundle was going to be delayed another month. Said to me in a take it or leave it manner.

I was offered nothing of a gesture to make even the smallest impact of the hassle they have caused us. my partner is heavily pregnant and could go into labour anytime and stress like this shouldn’t be caused by a company who do this on the daily and are meant to be professional. Given a full refund again with zero apologies or empathy shown.

Reading other reviews and it seems we are not the only people in this predicament and have received the exact same treatment. A company willing to lose a €2k sale from numerous customers just shows how little they value people’s pregnant journey.

Avoid these at all costs !

Try BabyMoonBabyShop I called them today and spoke with Barry who informed me that he would have the exact same bundle we ordered in 10days, for cheaper

Buy elsewhere if you want to receive on time!

Do not buy your car seat and pram from Eurobaby if you want to get it on time. You will see other reviews with the same story - this isn’t just something that happened to me. I ordered car seats and a pram 12+ weeks in advance and long story short, after a huge amount of chasing I was told they essentially didn’t pay their accounts and the goods were not going to come in. I had just a couple of weeks to source what I needed in the end and with the help and good will of other major retailers, I was able to get what I needed quickly. Eurobaby offered no gesture, resolution or help to resolve - it was simply my tough luck and my problem to solve. Not to mention, I bought in the sale (where I could have picked another retailer) but by the time they let me down, I was buying in a non sale time meaning that I lost money through this whole mess. I highly recommend you buy what you need from elsewhere. I suspect this review would normally get the generic response telling me to contact the web store email address, but it’s pointless, I have already done so and essentially been told by the Company owner that it is tough luck, it’s hard trading times, what can you do. My answer, shop elsewhere!

Amazing customer service

I was dealing with Olivia and she was amazing, the car seat I ordered was not in stock, I was kept in the loop and when I was told it would take a while to order in Olivia helped me swap the car seat to a different one.
It was delivered within 2 days of the swap, extremely satisfied and will definitely be shopping here again

Buggy set never delivered

Ordered a Buggy set, spent over 1.3k, ORDERED MORE THAN 3 MONTHS AGO AND STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope your baby is not born before the expected due date, because you will have to be asking them for favours to borrow a car seat to bring your baby home. Disappointing, inefficient, and never ever buying againg from them. Also, I raised my concern on the delivery date, and staff never rang me back. They should take these matters more seriously, or if you need to buy, say the due date is 2 months before so they actually send you the products on time

We had an exceptional experience with…Eurobaby Trish

We had an exceptional experience with Eurobaby Swords Shop. We travelled up from Rosscommon as we had an appointment close by. We were particularly impressed by the range of prams and carseats and all the options available as we are expecting in April. We found Trish at Eurobaby extremely helpful and knowledgeable and she made our decision to go with the Cybex Balios buggy so seamless. She took all the prams down went through each one with us. Along with our buggy we picked up some other baby bits and again the selection and options available were brilliant. We cannot recommend Eurobaby enough, with a very friendly and personal experience, we will back to visit again in the future with hopefully many additions to our family to shop for.

Amazing customer service from Olivia from online customer service

On Friday I received my delivery within 2 days which was amazing! I had received an item that didn’t have all the parts, Olivia was quick to respond and take action, she sorted out my issue so professionally and made sure I had my item within days for my holiday, took so much stress of me. Olivia is a credit to your team! Thank you again!

STAY AWAY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I WOULD HAVE GIVING ZERO STARS IF I COULD HAVE.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR BUGGY ON TIME . ORDERED ON THE 30TH OF SEPTEMBER THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE 8 TO 10 WEEKS . 12 WEEKS LATER AND THEY ONLY HAVE THE BUGGY IN OUT OF THE BUNDLE , NO CAR SEAT OR MUFF . NOW THERE SAYING MID JANUARY FOR THE CAR SEAT AND MUFF ,WHICH WILL MAKE IT NEARLY 16 WEEKS,ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF A COMPANY WITH NO CMPASSION. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL . THEY ARE AFTER RUINING WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HAPPY EXPERIENCE BUT ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS CAUSE STRESS . STAY AWAY AND GO TO A REAL BABY SHOP .
