Easy to make application but confussing to find out what policy covers

It was easy and effortless to make the changes to my policy required by the professional way my enquiry was dealt with.

I have only just signed up tonight for European Resuce so this request is a little premature to be honest and very unfair on Eurorescue. Why try again when I have experienced the service level and policy promises.

I found a transaction on my bank account for£59.99, and when I looked back to last year, there was another £59.99 taken. I, like many more during covid havent even been on holiday yet alone driven abroad! I wasnt informed this was something that would be auto renewed and i certainly didnt give permission, the last time I drove abroad was 2018 so why would I need it. I tried to ring Eurorescue to sort it out and after 1hr 55mins , I gave up! No one ever answers the phone

This company Has stolen £59.99 from my account.(that’s what you call taking without consent).
My policy was renewed, WITHOUT any correspondence, despite their claims of sending e-Mail reminders.
When I challenged this, the call taker, lied and was very abrupt and defensive. To cancel the policy has cost £20 admin fee. Needless to say I will not use these Sharks again.

The clutch failed in the evening whilst driving in Slovenia. EuroRescue arranged for a recovery vehicle to take the car to a local garage the next morning and we (a family of five) booked into a hotel. The repair was completed soon after. The guy dealing with us in Slovenia was great. Called us several times to make sure all was going well. On our return we claimed for the hotel stay and part of the repair. We received the full amount claimed shortly after. All in all I cannot fault the service we received.

We booked EuroRescue Plus for a road trip with my 80 year old parents to make sure we had a safety net in case of any car trouble. Just after arriving in Calais we had a tyre puncture, on a national holiday Monday in France. No tyre centres was open, and our car doesn't come with a spare, so we had to called Eurorescue. They have an EU company that handles their EU operations, who had no evidence of our policy, even though I was holding the document in my hand. After over 15 minutes on hold, and then 2 hours stranded on the roadside with my elder parents, they eventually agreed that 'as a good will gesture' they would arrange for us to stay in the local Ibis overnight, but would not pay for breakfast or dinner. We had booked self catering for the week, so this was an expense we didn't anticipate, and something EuroRescue would not covered as it wasn't included in the 'basic' Ibis reservation. Next day the tyre was quickly fixed locally, at our expense. Eurorescue only called us 2 days later to apologise that their 'system' somehow did not 'feed through' our policy schedule to the EU computer. In future I will read all 'small print' more carefully and check defaqto rating first. I will never use EuroRescue again.
