cancellation of reservation and price increase
I booked a villa for 12 people with Euro Tour. I received a contract with the booking references and an account number, I paid the deposit. And a little later I received another email telling me that there was a glitch in the price that my reservation was canceled and that I had to make another one at the right price which was of course 5 times more expensive. It's a technique to attract customers but in the meantime another villa that I could have rented from a competitor was rented. They refunded me the deposit a week later but really avoid this agency they are not very professional and a little dishonest because when you have a contract and pay the deposit normally even if there is an error they must assume I had found the same ad on booking.com 20 € more expensive I should have gone through them and because at booking when you book and there is an error they assume.

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with your reservation. Unfortunately, there was indeed a technical error in our system which caused the price of the villa to be displayed at 4 times lower than the actual rental price. Had the difference been even remotely reasonable, we would have honored the booking — but in this case, the discrepancy was simply too large to ignore.
As soon as we noticed the mistake, we immediately canceled the reservation and refunded your deposit. The time it takes for the refund to appear depends on your bank’s processing times, which can vary by a few business days.
We completely understand your frustration, especially if this situation caused you to miss out on another property. However, we want to emphasize that we are a legitimate and professional agency, and we have no interest in attracting customers through misleading pricing. Errors do happen from time to time, but when they do, we always aim to resolve them transparently and professionally — as we did in this case.
