We were offered an earlier train which we happily accepted however and unfortunately this was then delayed when we were queuing to board. Booking process was great as were all the staff we came into contact with.
On this particular occasion there was a hold-up due to technical issues. We were held back for a short time but otherwise there weren't any problems.
After years of using the Dover ferry moving back to using le Shuttle was a breath of fresh air. Yes, it is more expensive, but you can't put a price on not being stuck queueing down the hill into Dover Ferry port.
Check in very smooth and quick, although the signage around the terminal was a little confusing, you drive past it then come back. The terminal is clear and modern. I arrived early so they put me on an earlier train, result!. Passport a little laggy but not the ned of the World going out, coming back super slick. Boarding was quick and easy. And the best bit, arrive and just drive off, super smooth.
We got there early with the dog she was checked in quickly. As a result we were able to catch and earlier train. Second time we have used this way to travel quick and efficient.
Travelled Flexi + great terminal and food/drinks. Easy boarding.
The metal guides are a real pain if you are stopped near a toilet/staircase, very hard to move to the recessed track as it is almost impossible to see, leaving tyres potentially damaged.
Very helpful as I couldn’t go up in train and managed to get me another one ground level ad I am disabled
Easy booking. Flexiplus was brilliant re timing of arrival and departure. All very smooth. Flexiplus lounge very well run. Staff lovely.
Everything was good.. apart from the five hour delay on our outward journey.
Trains running to time - Perhaps a little expensive. Crew members very helpful and polite.

1st train was cancelled, meaning a 1hr 45 minute wait for the next one, but information wasn't given in a timely manor

All went well, even getting an earlier train than booked.
Coming back from Calais, there was a long wait in the queue in the hot sun. However, the information signs stated “imminent boarding “. This was poor information.

Still a fast way to cross but only off-season. Delays usually due to Border Control (UK and French) at both ends. Folkstone terminal has undergone an (overdue) facelift. Rolling stock looks and feels a bit tired but it does the job.

Have used the service many times and it is great, no sooner are you leaving than you are arriving. Very quick and efficient service. Wish it was cheaper then I would use it more.

Easy roll up Vehicle recognition check in. Clean toilets and service areas. Info boards constantly updated so you always know timings for departure. Would be nice if space were available to be offered an earlier departure if like me I was at the port 3 hours before.

An utter shambles today. Le Shuttle indicated that departures around my booked time could be delayed by 30 minutes due to heavier traffic than normal, but the advice was to check in as planned. I subsequently spent 4+ hours at Calais while Le Shuttle kept calling departures forward despite the fact that the delays were getting worse and the backlog of passengers waiting to travel was growing rapidly. The result was that the entire departure area was gridlocked. It was utter chaos. Nothing whatsoever to do with border checks, just woeful operations management. Moreover, the lack of communication was absolutely appalling.
