Paid 700€ on top! Never again

After I had to wait 1 hour at the counter because the printer was not working, I was told that I could not travel as the flight was now overcrowded. After I had to wait several hours, I was kindly offered a flight in 4 days. The problem? I have to work the next day! I paid more than €700 extra and spent 24 hours in nowhere! Never again! Staff in Bodrum have no interest in helping you.

Horrible airline

Horrible airline. The worst we’ve ever flown in all our years traveling. The seats are horrible, crowded, food is literally inedible. We paid for wifi and it never worked once on the flight. Check in is a disaster where they do not have kiosks to print baggage tags like every other airline in North America. Waited over 30 minutes to simply check a bag. Flight attendants are rude and do not care about service. The seats are by far the most cramped seats I’ve ever seen on an airline. Bathrooms were filthy, no toilet paper, urine all over the place. The seat hadn’t been cleaned from the flight before.

Avoid this airline AT ALL COSTS.

Cancelled flight without being warned!

I basically booked a flight for my parents to visit me. I wish Lufthansa wouldn't use Discover Airlines! They basically didn't accept the initial payment and I was never told about that. Talking with the customer service was useless, they do nothing to help the customers.

If you book with them please be careful and double check as soon as you book, they don't care about the customer's needs!

We paid extra for seeting in the plane - even twice- both way was cancelled. Wrote a serius letter to the company- gave information about the matters - even number for returning amaount payd- and get no answer at all- so sorry - we will not use that company any mor

Discover - 3 times a disappointment

You book Lufthansa and get this inferior airline.
I flew Discover last month out of necessity.
Ground staff at boarding can barely speak German and English and that at the Frankfurt base.!!!!!
Boarding always a mess - they don't board in groups. Ground staff overwhelmed and not trained.
Cabin always dirty - not cleaned - had the remains of my predecessor's tomato juice still on the table.
Used handkerchiefs from the previous passenger in the seat.
Departure delayed on all journeys as cabin was not cleaned !!!!
I have flown a lot with LH Swiss Eurowings and Vueling in the last few months.
Will try to avoid Discover.
The whole thing reminds me of us playing flight attendants. Everything is improvised and doesn't run smoothly.

Discover Airlines a Horrible Experience

We travel often and on a recent trip we booked through Lufthansa, and to our surprise our international flight was on Discover airlines. It was the worst international flight we have ever taken more than 20 years of travel. The seats were so small my husband could not face his knees straightforward! I am a small woman and I could barely get out of my seat once the person in front of me put her seat back. There was no wine or beer served with dinner unless you paid for it.
We have flown with Lufthansa in years past and always felt it was a wonderful airline, but this is a VERY bad decision for them to partner with such a low low cost and class of airline. We will never book with either of these airlines again.

I had booked an international flight on…

I had booked an international flight on United but due to delays, I was rebooked onto a discover flight. With United I had requested a special meal and Discover did not accommodate me even though there were left over Kosher meals. I was so uncomfortable in the small seats. The entertainment selection was small and they require you to pay for wine/beer even during dinner service. I would never book a flight with discover.

Most terrible crew service ever

Most terrible crew service ever. Unfortunatly, such low cost airlines don’t really have good qualifications for serving the customers .. I would not fly with Discover Airlines again. Very poor food, only coffee/tee/water, nothing more ! If you wanna drink a glass of of wine you must spend 9€ for it ..

About upgrading in the Premium Economy, SAVE YOUR MONEY, it’s definitely not worth!

300€ for exactly NOTHING !

If you’re lucky, you will get the same bad food from the economy class !

I needed some water for my medicaments, and called someone on the Byron about 20 times.. finally someone came, very arrogant and said: you can take your water by yourself …

Well, we’ve been told NOT to stand up !

Non existant customer service

On August 1., 2023 we sent a claim regarding a 24 hour delay on our July flight to Orlando, on the same day we received confirmation of receipt of the claim.

After 7 weeks I sent a reminder email - no response.

After 8 weeks with no response I called them, and got a person in a call center.

This person had no access to the claim system, and could not give a status, but could ask their Customer Service team for a status.

However, Customer Service can only be contacted by email.

So the only way to get customer service to respond to an unanswered email is to send another email, which they probably also ignore.

Lost Luggage/No Compensation

It's 21 days since they lost our luggage and after countless time on the phone, emailing and contacting through Twitter they have not given us any alternatives routes to apply for compensation. The webpage that handles this doesn't work and at every turn we have met the most inept or downright misleading staff members who reply without even reading out emails. We have all our details for our lost luggage as we logged the missing bag with you immediately. At this stage you have basically just robbed us. How are you going to fix this?

Great biz class experience with dogs

Flew Frankfurt to Mauritius with our two small dogs in business class and have to give the airline and crew full marks for a great service.
Given that dogs can’t fly out of England in the cabin, and Air France can only accommodate dogs in economy on that route which for 11+ hours would be extremely uncomfortable for all, it was worth the drive to Germany.
Efficient check-in, comfortable seats in a spacious area, decent food, friendly and efficient crew. Well satisfied.
