Found this company online after looking for a reputable supplier of EV Charging cables. I recently purchased a 2015 Vauxhall Ampera that only came with a home charger cable (3 pin socket to Type 1 connection on the car aka the Granny cable) as the previous owner hadn't ever charged it at a public charging facility and therefore never invested in one of these cables. As my workplace had Pod Point facilities, I wanted to make full use of these and found EV chargers direct to be very competitive price wise and they also had excellent reviews of their products and delivery timescales. On this occasion I opted to go for their Type 2 to Type 1 - 7kw / 32amp cable with a 5 metre length at £159.99 including free delivery. Upon receipt of the cable it came in a nicely packed box to protect in transport and was also supplied with a carry case so you can store the cable neatly in the boot of your car. I have since used the cable at both Pod Point and MER charging facilities and had no issues at all with connectivity. Very pleased with the manufacturing quality of this charger cable, especially as both connectors come with rubber covers to protect them from water and dust ingress and I would therefore highly recommend this company to others looking for EV charging accessories.

I didn't believe that a granny charger could work on my VW transporter abte, but it did. A very high quality cable. Nice and chunky cable. Well delivered and nice tidy bag for the cable. Very happy.

Great charger that looks well made and going to be long lasting. Not a fast process using this cable but if it's occasional usage and not required daily it's perfect.

I bought my Mida Electric Vehicle Charging point , unit in March 2021 it stopped working in March 2023. When I spoke with Chris at the shop, he offered up the manufacturers email address , but they are not in the UK and told me my warrantee after a year had run out and there wasn't anything they could do.

I think for a £500 device, as a retailer they should have been more interested in the fact that the device was faulty and they should re negotiate there deal with the manufacture so that the warrantee is longer, surprised as to how dis interested he was , didn't even offer to get intouch with the manufacture on my behalf and to protect his reputation as a seller, of the product .

Hence I felt necessary to write this negative review.

A waste of £500 and nothing on the invoice with terms and conditions , or the warrantee details. Zero.
