This company has always treated me well as an investor. My advisor Jenny Whitehouse has treated me with respect and given good advice over the last eight years. We will miss her since her promotion but I am sure Phill will be a pleasant replacement.

This company is interested in me as an investor and takes time to know me and my needs. Our financial adviser Jenny advises us regularly on all aspects happening in a very unsettled world. This company is prepared to listen to your needs, and tries to meet them in all aspects.

We have had Jo Rees as our financial advisor for a number of years and have been very content with the advice, information and support she and her team have provided to us from their offices in Cardiff. Although we would not consider ourselves to be demanding, we are discerning. Jo has always prepared well for our reviews and meetings and has developed and maintained an understanding of what we want and/or need to keep our financial expectations secure. She has earned our trust.

I sold my business around 5 years ago and didn’t know what to do with the resulting funds. I met with Rob Frampton (a Financial Planner at Evelyn In Cardiff) who was recommended to me by a friend to discuss how to structure investments, pensions and trusts tax efficiently.

He has done a great job and helped guide me and my family. They have generated returns above their peers and better than we originally expected.

Worked with Lee MacDonald from the Nottingham office on a financial plan for retirement and especially the best / most tax efficient way to take retirement income from my various pensions. The service was very professional, in-depth, covered things I hadn't thought of and modelled various options & outcomes. Lee was great and explained the complexities and answered my many questions very clearly. Well worth the fees.

We have known Craig for a long time, he having been our financial advisor through the rather numerous versions of what has now become evelyn partners. He is a very nice guy and, in our yearly meetings, has always given us as much time as we need to ask as many questions as we want no matter how basic. He has a skilled teacher’s ability to explain complex financial situations in ways that lay persons like us can understand, while also explaining the possible dangers of over-simplification. A couple of years back, we switched our savings to green investments, and Craig and his assistant Jake were very helpful on that front also. Craig has also been careful to check for possible changes in our financial needs as we both get older. Overall, we would happily award him five stars. And what is more, the dog greatly likes him also.

We first met with Craig Richards and staff at Evelyn Partners, Nottingham (previously Tilney) in November 2019. Since then we have built a good working relationship with Craig planning our financial strategy and with Chris Moore from the Birmingham branch planning our investments. Craig is excellent at explaining complex financial matters verbally and in written reports. The teams are proactive and approachable and respond quickly to our queries and requirements when investing funds. It feels that we are closely involved with the management of our investments and gives us confidence that our funds are being actively and well managed.

I was recommended to the firm because I wanted to consider a specialist transaction: cashing out a final salary pension. For obvious reasons there's a high compliance threshold for doing this and Mark Turner at Evelyn has the necessary experience. I had initial conversations with 2 forms and decided to go with Evelyn on the basis of the quality of that first call. I have been entirely happy with the whole process. Mark was professional and patient throughout and everything went smoothly and was completed on time.

As a result of the different companies that I have worked for over the years I managed to build up a number of pension funds. I decided that it was time to review my options and soon realised that this exercise was well beyond my abilities. I approached several companies and they all agreed that I had a very complex pension situation but none of them felt experienced in taking on the project. A family member suggested that I approach Evelyn (formally Tilney) and I was introduced to Lee at their Nottingham office. After several meetings Lee agreed to take on the project and produced a very comprehensive report clearly illustrating the different options and the pros and cons of each. This is a piece of work that I could not have undertaken myself and several other companies also declined. Lee has demonstrated an extensive knowledge base in his specialist field and I can totally recommend his services to anyone requiring Pension advice.

My wife and I have been taking advice from Craig for many years. He has always given good advise and looked after our investments which provide most of our income.
The face to face meeting once a year is useful and makes it more personal.
