Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Duo Vivo, the ceilidh, saxophone, and DJ were all brilliant, and everything flowed seamlessly.
We had a special request for the ceilidh -transitions into well-known songs. This was a standout and our guests loved it and are still talking about it.
We had so many compliments on the music throughout the day. A top-class team which I highly recommend.

We had Trio Vivo and their Opera Singers at our wedding and wow, they were just amazing!
Trio Vivo played in the chapel, at our drinks reception and at our wedding breakfast. We requested loads of music and they performed them all so well, it created such a beautiful atmosphere throughout the day. We cannot recommend them enough.
The Opera Singers performed at our wedding breakfast and they were so entertaining and talented. It was like having an Opera at our wedding.
Lucinda organised everything so well, it was an absolute joy dealing with her and she conducted everything perfectly.

We had Trio Vivo play at our wedding ceremony and at our drinks reception, they were absolutely amazing! Couldn’t have asked for anything more from the team! The music really set the vibe and we didn’t stop receiving compliments on how good Trio Vivo were. Highly recommend to use for any special events. The communication was also great and Lucinda understood everything we were going for as well.
We also had a great saxophone player from Event Music Company play at our evening party and wow! They complimented the DJ so well and it really set the tone for the night!

We don’t quite know where to begin with how wonderful Events Music Company were on our wedding day at Rudding Park. Chris Hilton organized and coordinated a huge team of musicians and helpers that took us from the beginning of our special day right through to the early hours. From the moving string trio and excellent bagpipe player in our ceremony to the fantastic big band and DJ at the reception, everyone performed magnificently and brought such joy to our day. Many of our guests exclaimed to us that walking into the Radcliffe room felt like walking into a movie set, due to the lights, atmosphere, and exceptional music. Throughout the night the dancefloor was never empty and we had one heck of a party! It was great working with Chris from the start, always available to meet with us to discuss our musical vision for the day, calming our worries and offering great suggestions. He also worked closely with my thirteen-year-old niece, organizing a practice session and accompanying her with the string trio while she sang in our ceremony. Overall, Events Music Company made our day so incredibly special, creating the perfect atmospheres throughout the day – we recommend them very highly!

Trio Vivo played at our wedding (in the church and reception) in September and they were so professional and we absolutely loved the music! Lucinda was very responsive in the build up to the wedding and accommodated all of our requests. On the day of the wedding it was the hottest they had ever played in but they never complained! Thank you all for adding to our special day. Could not recommend Trio Vivo highly enough.

We recently had the pleasure of hiring the Event Music Company, specifically Trio Vivo, to perform at our wedding on July 1st, 2023. Let me start by saying that Lucinda, Chris, and the entire team were absolutely incredible, and their performance was nothing short of perfection.

Trio Vivo consists of Lucinda on the cello, Chris on the violin, and Michael on the piano. These three talented musicians played in perfect harmony throughout the entire event. They worked tirelessly from the moment our guests arrived in the chapel until the end of the meal, ensuring that every moment was accompanied by the most beautiful and elegant music.

One aspect that impressed us the most was their ability to tailor the music to the audience and read the room perfectly. During the canapés and downtime, they played recognizable Disney songs that instantly captivated the children. It was a joy to see the kids light up with excitement. And when it came time to eat, Trio Vivo seamlessly transitioned into playing beautiful classical music, creating a sophisticated and enchanting atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

We were thrilled to hear that nearly all of our 100+ guests approached us throughout the day to express their admiration for Trio Vivo. Their ability to read the room and play the right music at the right time was exceptional. Our guests were not only impressed with their musical talents but also with their professionalism and approachability. It was evident that Trio Vivo genuinely cared about making our wedding day special, and they succeeded beyond our expectations.

As we know, music can make or break a wedding, so we took our time researching and finding the perfect musicians. In our opinion, Trio Vivo was in a league of their own, surpassing any other performers in the Yorkshire area and I would possibly even go as far as saying the entire country. Their skill, passion, and attention to detail were simply unmatched.

Both Hannah and I cannot express enough gratitude for everything Trio Vivo did to create the most beautiful day for us on this very special occasion. We wholeheartedly give them a 5-star rating and highly recommend the Event Music Company to anyone seeking a truly exceptional musical experience.

We booked the Event Music Company back in 2019 for our wedding planned in April 2020. One thing led to another and we had needed to postpone our wedding a further 3 times (COVID, COVID and twins!) meaning we finally had our special day in May 2023. Chris and Lucinda stuck with us through all the rescheduling, kept in touch and never quibbled about endless dates going in their diary.

On the day the music they provided was phenomenal. I had compliments from loads of our guests about the live music and they contributed hugely to the atmosphere. I would say I’d love to book them again but hopefully I’ve had enough weddings for one lifetime! I would wholeheartedly recommend them to any who asked however.

We just wanted to say the biggest thankyous to Trio Vivo for the beautiful wedding music at our wedding last month. It was truly a magical atmosphere and all our guests loved singing along.

We got married in January and booked The Trio for our ceremony and reception/wedding breakfast. They were absolutely fantastic and created a great atmosphere for our day - specially during the meal. They got everyone singing along and chose the music perfectly! I could not recommend them enough!

Fantastic company. We hired Trio Vivo, suprise singing waiters and Little Big band. We also hired lighting, bar signs, dance floor and live TV footage/screens. Chris was full of ideas at every meeting and really helps make a vision come to light. If only we could have our big day again, this company is a must to hire.

We saw Lucinda and Trio Vivo at a wedding show in Harrogate, we paused and they very cleverly and carefully slightly increased the volume - it immediately became more emotional and impactful and we knew that’s how we wanted music to impact people at our wedding. We had Trio Vivo throughout the day, in the chapel before, during, and after. We got a round of applause on our arrival and I believe that was down to the music and timing (maybe we scrubbed up well too). Then at the reception and throughout the wedding breakfast they played a mix of music that everyone loved. We had Chris Hilton’s Little Big Band and DJ into the wee small hours. Everything was great. We had a rehearsal first dance and asked for the tempo to be slowed to match the dance speed we’d learnt and everything was accommodated by the band and singers. They did the entire room staging with dance floor, lighting, poser tables etc. it was all top notch! The live saxophonist added to the impact as he wandered around the dance floor!

The event music company are fantastic! We had Trio Vivo & The little big band for our wedding and they were awesome. We had so many compliments from our guests about them. We also had their dance floor and lighting which really made the room look extra special. Chris and Lucinda are so lovely and they really will do any music or song you want!! Would recommend to anyone getting married or having an event!
