Absolute sham of a company! Avoid at all cost.
We had 7 booked in, rearranged, cancelled or no show fitting dates. Trying to get in contact with the local Southampton branch has been a painfully slow and frustrating experience. Often, no answer on the phone or told I would receive a call back, with no such communication in return. It has taken 3 months of backwards and forwards to get 7 windows fitted for the front of our property. The communication from this company, is shocking.
Finally, after 3 months of cancelled or no show appointments, all 7 windows were fitted. However, there was not one window that was finished to a standard of exceptability. No trims, no caulking, just big gaps with the expanding foam all over where the trims should of been. Again, an appointment with the branch manager (Craig) was made, for him to come out himself to rectify the issues.
I waited at the property at the agreed time and again, he did not show up nor contact to say otherwise.
It is no good complaining to head office, as all they do is pass your complaint back to the local branch.
My advice to anyone looking for a swift, seemless, organised fitting with outstanding customer service, look elsewhere. Everest is not recommended by us.
We are still waiting for rectification of our windows that we have fully paid for!
Don’t waste your time. Booked an appointment for somebody to measure and quote for a new door. They never turned up, no phone call, no email. Nothing.
Don't book with this company if you want good communication and someone to be truthful with you. We were promised dates that didn't happen, were changed dates several times and the company has had my complaint for nearly six months and won't talk to me. Communication is TERRIBLE!
The windows are great. Just before and after customer service is very bad.
Great guys good service from Steven amd mick

Our old windows left us cold and damp, not to mention the drafts. If you have settled into a home that you really love and want to live out your life there, I personally recommend looking into Everest/Anglian windows (no pun intended). We have just had our whole house done, triple glazed. It's only been 2 weeks, and our house feels warmer and secure. Everything is so fresh, and in some places it feels larger. Our installer from Swansea, we were told, was the best in their team; and trust me, he was (thank you Simon). He took his time and installed our windows and doors perfectly. So much so that there is no rattle, loose door syndrome, when you close our doors. He set them up perfectly, so when you close a door you get a firm gentle thud, with no bouce back. That was down to the way he took his time adjusting them. Add on the 10 year and 15 year warranty and guarantee and we absolutely love our 'new look' house. We don't regret our choice for one second. It really does look and feel special. Thanks to everyone who was involved from pre-production all the way through to completion. There must've been a lot of you involved and we want to thank each and every one of you. We know how 'flat-out' you all are. 5STARS*****!!!!!
Everything was professional from the first assessment visit to the completed job.
The quote was fair; the survey precise. All paperwork including the contract was straightforward and easily understandable. The two fitters arrived exactly when arranged, were expert, experienced, cheerful, knew exactly what they were doing and fitted the window and door precisely, paying detailed attention to the cosmetic appearance and weatherproofing seals. They left the area completely tidy. The hardware (lintel, double glazed window and door) is of very good quality. I'm very pleased.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY — COMPLETELY UNETHICAL
We invited Everest to our home for a quote on new windows and doors. To “secure” the price we were offered, the salesperson insisted we pay a small deposit, reassuring us that we could cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund. We cancelled on day 9 — well within the legally recognised cooling‑off period. Despite this, we later received a letter stating that not only would our deposit not be returned, but we now supposedly owe an additional 15% of the quoted price (around £1,500) for “loss of profits” because we failed to cancel within 7 days.
To be absolutely clear: Everest carried out no work whatsoever. No surveyor visited. No products were ordered. Nothing was manufactured. Nothing was installed.
Even after explaining that we were never informed of this alleged “7‑day cooling‑off period”, Everest continues to demand money for work they did not do. Their behaviour has been dishonest, misleading, and entirely unethical. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice.

The new door looks amazing and raises the look and style of the property. The door was installed quickly and professionally by a friendly and efficient installer. Would highly recommend Everest to anyone wishing to give their house style and security.

Time wasters. They book you an appointment and fail to show up. You follow up and they apologise and say they’ve made booking error, go ahead and rearrange and fail to show up again. Then proceed to cover their backs and say oh we said a different day. Cannot stand those who lie ! Glad that my story stops there with them and I didn’t go further with getting any services from them.

We are now going through legal channels to deal with Safestyle’s incompetence and shoddy workmanship.
Appalling. There is nothing good I can say about the disgraceful service and botched job, the total lack of any standard of care, workmanship or rhe manufacturing of the windows.
Safe style (who are owned by Anglian or Everest as they are all part of the same umbrella now) have not yet been paid beyond the deposit which had to be paid before they even started. And if you were to see the problems you would understand. Two large sliding doors, picture windows if you like, that rattle in the wind, let a freezing draught through the faulty manufactured doors, and they let water in, even after it has stopped raining!!! The frames were perhaps dropped on the laminate flooring which has chipped it, the plastic filler was cut too short so was filled with silicone, there’s holes in the wall and ceiling and outside the render has not been replaced or repaired where the fitters clearly didnt have any sand or cement in their vehicle to make good their damage, and so the list goes on.
An engineer was sent (a nice fella to be fair to him) when I first phoned and said they would be liable for water damage to the floor and when he arrived told me that he was told they were bi-fold doors and he didn’t understand what the problem was without seeing the manufacturers paperwork. He agreed that the windows were not right and other bits were not completed correctly but that’s all we have heard in 3 weeks.
We have phoned a number of times to find out what is going on with the promise ‘someone will ring you within the hour’, which of course never happens
The phone lines are cut off after 3.00pm apparently to deal with enquiries, but you can still conveniently speak to someone if you want a quote.
If I could give zero stars I would. We are off to Citizens Advice tomorrow to draft a letter and find out what legal action can be taken against them, the company you pay through the nose prices for expecting them to be the best! Yeah right!
Failed to show up to at least 3 booked appointments. Repeat promises to address the issue that were never followed through. Did not even call to say they were not able to show up.
Avoid.
Extremely poor service from the beginning.
I booked two appointments for door measurements and quotes, even taking time off work for one of them, and they failed to show up both times.
Very disappointing experience.
I would not recommend them at all—completely a waste of time.
After receiving two very convoluted complicated Everest quotations to replace two windows , soffit & fascia board. (ie. Items had been bundled together to almost make it as complicated as possible with a unified number and according to the salesman had to be on two different quotes !) I had to sign there and then to keep the multitude of various discount codes being made available (allegedly), I decided to proceed & pay the deposit, however I immediately requested a breakdown of the quotation from the salesmen. After numerous emails and telephone calls, I eventually got some sort of breakdown that quite simply did not add up. The sales person advised that that is how the computer manipulates and produces the quote. I did not accept and continued to ask for a breakdown that made sense. Eventually the sales persons manager called and further discount was offered. Painful to say the least! - I still did not get the breakdown to my satisfaction however as I had paid the deposit and was in need of the work to completed ASAP I accepted. Some of the costs were extortionate for replacement of two windows - £350.00 was charged for a 15min survey? Whilst I was happy to pay a premium for quality window, the bundle of other costs were still excessive and left me with a feeling of paying well over the top (even after all the so called discounts). The sales process start to finish was poor and I would award one star being generous to Everest Sales Team. To counter this experience and why I offered an overall 3 star review, the Office installation /delivery team were very good, (Marie) they advised of various installation dates and the fitters all arrived at the time given on the date set. The fascia works were carried out by two guys driving an Anglian Windows van, they came prepared, completed the install work efficiently and professionally - Today the window fitters came and equally were as professional and once again did a good job . (Ben & Dan) . As good as the fit out and back office Teams were - I would not go through that sales process again with Everest.
Overall the process was pretty seamless and although the lead in times seemed quite long, the visits were all on time and the individuals were polite and personable. The installation team, Andy &Carl, explained what they would be doing and went through thoroughly on how the door worked at the end. Natalie who took my final payment was nice and left the’door’ open for contact if I had any issues. My only gripe really is how busy the teams are. The end felt quite rushed as they had to get to the next job. This ultimately meant I had to spend 30mins hoovering and wiping that perhaps they should have done? But perhaps I should have said something.
The back office is dreadful. They clearly lost my info and had to send another guy out who told me contradictory things. It’s really frustrating trying to get in touch with them. And they’re pretty pushy on getting a sale. It also took ages to book me in for the fitting. They only have the basic colours and cannot match to existing paint colours. I was originally told they could. I was dreading them coming for the fitting in view of this. But the product is really good and the guys that came from Pontefract were great. I’m really pleased with the end result after a bit of pain getting there. I ordered wood sash windows and they look fabulous
Booked an appointment and salesperson didn’t bother showing up. Phone call 1 hour later to say they were late and needed to reschedule. Person on the phone was disinterested. I lost interest and will go somewhere else
So surprised to see negative reviews here, our experience was completely the opposite.
We had our Edwardian front door smashed in in the middle of the night and an intruder come into the house. Myself and son were away so wife and 6 yr old daughter on their own. It later turned out to be a blind drunk neighbour who thought he was getting into his own place - police came and found him passed out - but a very traumatic experience, thankfully daughter didn't wake up at all.
On the Monday morning my wife contacted Everest to get a quote for a new door, and Majid Hatamieh came to show us the options. He was very kind and shocked at the experience my wife had gone through, and managed to get us a really good deal on the new door so we ordered it there and then.
It was a 5-6 week lead time, and in the meantime we were dealing with home insurance trying to get them to cover the cost. We sent them the details of the door we had ordered, and they quibbled about every aspect, eventually asking for a quote for a timber door as the composite one was an 'upgrade'.
Throughout this insurance process we contacted Mr Hatamieh a few times and he was so helpful in providing details about the ordered door for the insurance company, and then a quote for a timber door which of course was more expensive than the composite one. This was way above and beyond the call of duty as he had already sold us our new door on the first day.
We also called the office a couple of times through the process and had friendly and helpful conversations.
The door was installed by Gary, who was friendly and efficient and did a lovely job. We're really happy with our new door, feel very secure behind it at night, and had an excellent experience with Everest.
I wanted Everest to quote me for a replacement door at the rear of my garage. I arranged for their rep to call this morning at 10 am. He did not turn up. I contacted Everest who had incorrectly booked him for 12 noon which was not convenient to me so I re-arranged the appointment for next Tuesday 21/4 at 10 am and asked them to confirm the appointment in an email. I then received two emails from Everest thanking me for my order and quoting £5,500! There was no reference to the appointment. When I replied to the email I received a postmaster undeliverable message! I then contacted Everest again who could find no trace of my details on their system! I have told them that I will be taking my business elsewhere. Altogether a pathetic exhibition of complete incompetence. I will never consider using them again
