*AVOID!!*

*AVOID!!* As if it weren't obvious enough with only a 2.7 TrustPilot review .. Avoid this company at all costs! We recently paid a circa £900 deposit for my grandmothers windows to be done (sadly we hadn't looked at TrustPilot before hand, otherwise we never would have used Everest!). We sadly lost my grandma on 23th June 2026 and notified Everest. They requested a copy of her death certificate which we happily provided straight away on 11th July 2026.

Despite adhering to their "process" .. We visited my grandmothers bank yesterday only to find Everest STILL haven't returned the deposit money. I called their Customer Service Department 21/07 to be told "It's with the Legal Team". Why a customer passing away and a death certificate being provided is with a "Legal Team" .. I'll never know!! What's more frustrating is the so called "Legal Team" have now been sat with a copy of my grandmas death certificate for 7 working days and done absolutely NOTHING ABOUT IT! What is there to do????

When will we get the £900 deposit back for work that can no longer take place? The customer is deceased!

Incompetent! Terrible processes! Money grabbers! Avoid and take your money somewhere else.

Shocking experience with Everest,I will…

Shocking experience with Everest,I will never use them again.
I booked a visit,as I wanted windows to cut out some outside noise, and for four hours the rep said how good they were and how they were perfect for me,with triple glazing, which I wanted.I was happy to go ahead as I wanted to cut out some of the outside noise .I paid £675 as a down payment.
Eventually the surveyor visited, and stayed 5 minutes. He told me the trickle vents were permanently open and wouldn't suit me,in fact the outside noise would be louder than before, and advised a refund and gave me the email address for customer services.
So I asked for a refund.
Everest got in touch and suddenly the vents could be closed. And they would give me a great deal.
They didn't get back with a price and I was always interested in the refund,as I had been told different stories.
I have been told it will be 28 to 31 days for a refund, which I find disgusting.
Avoid this company .

Please avoid purchasing from this…

Please avoid purchasing from this company. They promote themselves as highly experienced; however, the business was closed during the COVID period and has since reappeared as a new entity.

I am currently experiencing issues with secondary windows they installed. Despite being given a 10-year warranty, they have refused to carry out repairs, stating that this is a “new company” and not responsible for previous work.

They also provided details of Installsure, but it has since been confirmed that my installation was never registered with them, which raises serious concerns about their credibility and aftercare commitments.

I will continue to raise awareness of this issue until Everest takes responsibility and resolves the faults with the installation.

I can see why this company have such a low rating, after arranging someone to come and and measure up my front door with a view to replacing, and taking time off work, nobody arrived and there was no telephone call to advise otherwise. A waste of my time and i wont bother with these guys going forward.

Absolutely shit

Absolutely shit, took my deposit and refuse to give me a refund despite breaching the contract to which was agreed and signed off on. Absolutely awful company that should have been shut down ages ago.

No show for scheduled onsite visit

I don't know who it was, but the staff assigned to me completely no-showed for the scheduled onsite quote visit for the front door.
I don't think I can expect much from a company that fails to meet even such a simple expectation.

This is not a premium product, just a premium price.

So, started the order process March 2025. Surprised to see they still try the “hard sell” tactics. I got told, (quote) “I want to assure you that Everest is at the top of the heap when it comes to UPVC (and other materials) and door and window manufacturing. Our products are the "Rolls Royce" of the industry and the quality you get will be second to none. Hence the higher price than some of our competitors who will probably offer you inferior products. I am confident that the doors and panel we provide you will far exceed your expectations”. None of these claims turned out to be true, apart from the higher price claim. I agreed on a specific design after being assured that I will get exactly what I want, signed the contract and paid a deposit.
Transpired the salesman lied and the design/choice of doors was not possible. Spoke to sales manager who said that the price would be reviewed, more lies.
Doors turned up and were incorrect with glass size and position, surprisingly the surveyor admitted his mistake.
Installed June 9th 2025.
Door surface started “blowing” after a few months, got worse so was reported 19th December 2025, (photos sent). After a lot of chasing, replacements were installed 9th February 2026. Same problem of “blowing” started less than two months after installation, reported on 29th March 2026, more chasing required to get doors replaced again.
Expressed concern over the premium price charged for sub standard product and very poor service, so I put in a complaint with a request for a refund, 21st April 2026. Told there would be a response in five days, which did not happen. Phoned back April 29th and told reasonable response time for SLA is five days, official complaint escalated and told that the official complaint resolution would be twelve weeks.
Phoned 14th May 2026 for an update and told that anyone able to deal with the complaint/refund was in a meeting, (14:45).
Waited for the twelve-week deadline and phoned Anglian Customer Engagement again, they knew nothing, (allegedly), even with the reference number I was given at the time of complaining/requesting a refund. Put through to the local office who also had no answer, transferred to who I assume was some kind of manager and he also knew nothing, he said he would phone me back that afternoon, more lies, it has been over three days and I have heard nothing.
Decided to do something that I haven’t done often, that is to put in a review on Trust Pilot to warn people of the dreadful service and poor-quality products offered by Anglian/Everest.
I got a response from Anglian Home Improvements, (spin doctor team), telling me a member of the team should be in contact within two working days, no surprise really that this never happened. Why they continually lie is beyond me, they obviously only put this comment at the end of the review in the hope that people will see it and think the matter is being resolved, when nothing could be further from the truth. What were they doing in the twelve weeks from when I made the complaint refund/request, apart from completely wasting my time?
I can only go by my experience, which has been a nightmare start to finish, and would genuinely advise any potential customer to think long and hard before engaging with Anglian/Everest.
It is no surprise that Everest went bust if this was the way they did business, if they continue in this fashion Anglian will be following suit, probably rightfully so.
No doubt the spin doctor team will make a comment after reading this review, but the truth of the matter is, their words are worthless when they do not include any action.

Great service until installation then absolutely rubbish

Great service until installation then after one week the problems started. Unlockable door and seal that is ripped by an ill fitting door. Customer service are absolutely dire. No-one answers the phone but having tried every hour throughout the day I did eventually manage to talk to someone. The managers had all gone home early!!! They fob you off with promises that someone will call you back (twice this has happened)- but they don't. They don't respond to emails. Two pensioners in a house that can't be locked over night. It is not good enough. I absolutely would never recommend them or buy from them again.

Absolutely appalling service

I booked a sales consultation for new doors at 10:00am and waited at home as agreed. Nobody turned up, and nobody bothered to call or let me know they weren't coming.

When I phoned, I was told they were "so busy" and that they couldn't make the appointment. There was no apology for wasting my time—just a suggestion that we could rebook.

The attitude was shocking. They seemed to think it was perfectly acceptable to leave a potential customer waiting at home with no communication whatsoever.

If this is how Everest treats people before they've even won your business, I can only imagine what their customer service is like afterwards. I won't be giving them a second chance, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

AVOID Everest/ Anglian

If you're lucky enough that your installation goes exactly to plan, you may never see how badly this company handles problems. The moment something goes wrong, everyone works in silos, nobody communicates, and no one takes ownership.

Everest sells itself as a premium company, but once you've paid your deposit, every department simply passes the buck. When my installation was delayed because the scaffolding blocked access to a window, I was repeatedly told it was the scaffolding company's fault. As the main contractor, that's Everest's responsibility to manage, not mine. One member of staff even admitted that scaffolders blocking windows is a common issue. If it's a known problem, why hasn't the company put proper processes in place to prevent it instead of blaming subcontractors?

What was quoted as a one-week installation took three weeks. The installer missed the original start date, and nobody from Everest offices contacted me beforehand. I only discovered the installer had broken down after missing a call from an unknown number, costing me a day's annual leave. Materials were left on my driveway for weeks, different departments gave conflicting information, and I even received three customer satisfaction calls asking how my "completed" installation had gone while the work was still unfinished.

The installation is still incomplete because Everest failed to supply the child locks included with my order, yet after ignoring me for weeks they are now calling almost every day demanding the final payment. Chasing payment before completing the job says everything about where their priorities lie.

For a company charging premium prices, I expected premium service. Everest/ Anglian has forgotten themselves and got too comfortable knowing customers will come to them from some misguided reputation of the past.

Please heed these warnings and look elsewhere before engaging with Everest/ Anglian. They are not worth your time.

Atrocious company!

Wish I had checked their reviews before contacting them! Booked in for a quote last Monday, they phoned to cancel 40 mins before, stating car trouble. Rescheduled for this week, yesterday, didn't come, left message, no call back, left message again today to tell them how bad they are and to not bother calling back. Absolutel terrible company.

Anglican took over the Everest brand in 2024 though they kept the brand name. My conservatory was built in 2019 and given a warranty of 10 years. One of the door windows has misted up but Everest have told me that they will not honour the warranty. Very poor customer service.
