Was looking into buying the Everest…

Was looking into buying the Everest rubber strap. Not cheap, when I went to checkout the shipping fee was $130 aud to send to australia, I quickly reneged on the deal. Come on $30 tops. Rubber b is cheaper to import but more expensive to buy .decided the bracelet on a Rolex sd 43 is perfect anyway and just move on 🙄

How about -1

How about -1. Received watchband for gift & it started fraying in one week. Warranty return icon does not work. Left messages on their customer service, sales and retail dealer extentions. Wrote two emails. All with no response. On chat for two hrs. It stated wait time is longer than usual. Really? What a terrible product & (no) customer service. I guess I'll contact the credit card company to stop payment.

Easy to buy, difficult to return

Purchased a pouch and set off tools which was delivered next day in UK. Quality and function fine, but all items are unbranded and seem to be manufactured by a third party, therefore no different to what can be found on eBay at lower cost.
Posted a factually objective 3 star review on their own site, which they chose not to publish so their own claim of '2,500? 5-star reviews' is biased and self-manufactured. That's easy to achieve when you reject all negative reviews.
They only offer a 7 day return window, all returns require a USD$20 restocking fee, returns outside of the US are customer-paid, and many items including tools are not 'allowed' to be returned.
If outside of the US, purchase with caution as returns will be expensive.

Pretty much non existent customer service. I bought "premium" screwdriver and spring bar toolkit from them and blade chipped on screwdriver first time I used it. No phone number for customer service, and nothing so far but an automated reply to my email. I'm not impressed!

Avoid, find other options with better customer service

My experience directly mirrors the other accounts here via a horrible and borderline shady customer experience. Even if the product is reasonable quality, it’s not worth dealing with the company in my opinion. Easily one of my worst customer experiences as a consumer. I feel totally cheated by them and would NOT recommend their products or services to anyone.

Save your money.

Shocking company. Horrible customer service, appalling communication and a team of incompetent fools. Strap is worth £20 AT BEST. Save your money and buy a Rubber B strap instead. Cannot believe what I’ve had to deal with.

After comparing my experience with…

After comparing my experience with Everest and a few other brands, I feel that they all copy the leading manufacturer of luxury rubber straps (Rubber B), but this one Everest has especially terrible execution. The shipping to the UK was an overpriced mess. Yes I liked the freebies like pins, and packaging. But the look and feel of the Everest band is cheap and mickey-mouse. I can tell the high price tag is probably covering the "novelty gifts in the bag" and a lot of marginal mark-up. My black and blue colour bands for Daytona felt like a gimmick and certainly not a high pedigree manufacturing Maison. Now I only stick to the original rubber strap company instead, and highly recommend you avoid all of these fakers that price their straps at the luxury level to make us believe they are the same as Rubber B, when indeed they are not.

Don't buy

Don't buy! I bought a rubber band (highly overpriced to being with but that's my bad) for my GMT Master and it didn't fit properly. I returned it, had to pay for return package and on top,of that was charged with something called refill costs. Totally ridiculous and never heard in all these years of online buying. Also, I had to ask for my refund again and again.
Don't buy, I can't say it enough.

Customer service and delivery need to improve

Dear Everest Bands, dear watch enthusiasts

I received the strap today (i have not tried to put it on the watch yet - I will definitely write another review of that). The outter envelope, looks absolutely fine. Once opening the yellow envelope, the Everest packaging (plastic and green envelope) is in really bad / wet condition.
Besides, I used the comment field when I ordered the rubber strap. My request has never been answered or has simply not been considered.
For the price I am quite disappointed by the customer service and delivery. I will definitely keep you all up to date, also after wearing the product for a few weeks.

I have not checked the reviews before I ordered the product, but certainly the company needs to focus more on their customers.

Best regards and have a nice day

I purchased an Everest black rubber…

I purchased an Everest black rubber band for my submariner. In less than three months it fell off in the operating room because the rubber connection to my watch just failed. Imagine if it was in the water?. I contacted them immediately and they never responded. Now some years later they were advertising into my email so I told them what had happened. They said it’s too late to exoect A refund. I told him that I was not looking for a refund and that I would never buy another product from them I was just letting them know. No further response. I would not trust an investment watch to a cheap rubber band

The real Reviews on Everest are on Trust Pilot

I was a return customer. I purchased a rubber band about two years ago and it was delaminating near the pins. I decided to go back and try their new nylon band. I ordered the band and a fee for something called Route was added to the purchase. There was no opt out option. I sent them an email and asked what it was. They responded it was an optional tracking app. They said I could opt out - if I could, it was well hidden in the bowels of their site. Then when the band arrived I was completely underwhelmed. The nylon was laminated onto a hard rubber band. The fit was poor and the band is incredibly difficult to close. For $240 this represents an extremely poor value. I left a review on their site. I received an email to verify my purchase - imagine - my two star review never showed up. They have not reached out to discuss any of my critique. Be aware that Everest only posts 5 star reviews. I checked here and found that I was not alone in my opinion that they offer a less than stellar product for the price. Stay away.

Choose vulcanwatchstraps instead

Hello
I am very unhappy with your service
First I order a rubber band for Rolex and I don’t get any info taht the shipping is from USA and will take a longer time and cost extra!
Then When the band costing 190$ arrives I have to pay 150€ in tax that’s the same amount as the strap costs!
Have tried to call your company in USA 10 times no answer
You associate yourself with Rolex when your service is more like a Casio

Way overpriced, difficult to return

Way overpriced. probably they think that since they make these for Rolex watches they can charge 4-5 times are much, they will make it very difficult for you to return, i requested the return immediately: first 2-3 days to process the request , then an email : why are you not happy what can we do ..., then a high restock fee, I got suspicious and took pictures of the band before mailing it back to them and as I suspected they found an excuse to decline the return because of a "dent"???, they claim that if you install or even attempt to install the band they won't accept the return, read the other reviews (I didn't) , STAY AWAY

Zero customer service

Zero customer service. I have written to them on two separate occasions via their “contact us” link asking a simple question. “Will this strap fit this model of Rolex/Tudor watch?” Not too much to ask when I was considering buying two products at circa £450+ - No response to either message, truly disappointing Everest.

Be aware of import duties!

For those of you purchasing watch straps in Europe, and specifically the UK. I wanted to make you aware that the price advertised on the Everest website is not actually what you pay in the end. I ordered a simple nylon strap for a Rolex. Yes, it was £200 but it's worth it when you consider the watch it is attached to. But yesterday I received an invoice from DHL for a further £61.30. This covers duty, VAT and "disbursement" (whatever that is). This is a 32% uplift on the website cost - just so's you are aware.

It's a nice nylon strap, I can't deny that. But is it worth £260? (330 USD) - probably not.
