Returning customer-CANCELED

I am a returning customer, and the first experience was great. However, this second time I went to pay, and I thought the transaction was done but apparently, I was on the wrong screen, and the payment hadn't gone through. The Everlighten staff acted as if I was trying to cheat them and refused to let me fix the issue and wasted weeks of work for me and their staff by canceling my order completely. Why would a returning customer purposely not pay the initial $120. Don't let them waste your time like they did mine, there are too many other options out there for vendors.

Our design team invested significant time finalizing your design at no cost while awaiting your sample order placement to begin sample production. When our designer followed up regarding payment, you explicitly told our designer you had made the payment.

However, our system showed no record of payment. To help locate it, our designer requested proof. The screenshot you provided, however, was of the payment request page — something that should be very clear, as the pay button is prominently displayed. Furthermore, the version of the screenshot you shared with our designer omitted the pay button.

Trust is central to how we work with our customers. Given this fundamental discrepancy, we made the difficult decision to discontinue the project before it became a formal order.

We regret that we could not move forward and wish you the very best.

Let Down

We had high hopes for this company after reading some of the recent reviews but were extremely let down by the lack of response after 3+ weeks of communication. We requested a phone call to go over details and they disappeared. The last email we received from them was July 1st, it is now July 14th.

If I could give 1 star…

If I could give 1 star, I would.
Went through the process designing a plushie and requested 3 units in a sample.
The order arrived but only 1 unit.
I sent a kind message asking them to ship the other two, and they obliged.
Then things went awry.
The second shipment was lost as the postal code of the address had changed between the two shipments.
I provided the updated postal code and Everlighten CS told me I’d need to pay $200 to get the package delivered.
When I questioned them on this, I was told to “pick it up myself”, and they no longer wanted my business.

The postal code you provided was wrong, which has caused FedEx to be unable to deliver your package. Given that FedEx charges a significant fee of $200 to change the address, we recommend that you pick up the package from their warehouse which is not far from your place.

We have been extremely accommodating and patient throughout the whole process. The process involved several rounds of artwork adjustments and multiple changes to the physical samples, taking about two months to ensure everything met your expectations. Considering the extensive efforts and patience we demonstrated to meet your needs, it's disheartening to hear you describe our service as a scam. This accusation is quite hurtful to us.

Michael at Everlighten has changed my…

Michael at Everlighten has changed my family's life. Some might think that this may sound a bit cheesy, but he has not only been an incredible partner, but an inspiring supporter throughout our entire partnership. From the moment I began working with him his communication was prompt and thorough, my golden samples were basically FLAWLESS, and having just received my first production order I'm literally on the verge of tears with gratitude. I will NEVER work with someone other than Michael. If you're looking for a partner that be honest and kind, look no further!

It's been two weeks since I sent my…

It's been two weeks since I sent my quote request and they said they'd get back to me in 24 hours. Nothing has been heard yet. I sent multiple emails but nothing yet. I've checked my emails daily and my junk folder, but I have yet to receive anything. Plus the phone number is invalid, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Willing to take the time to get it right!

We had some extremely *precise* requirements for our plushies. They needed to be shaped in a specific way, with very particular fabric colors. Everlighten was willing to sell us a fabric book we could use for reference so there would be no miscommunication.

They also were *extremely patient* as we went through 6 different prototypes until they got the shape and feel of the plushie *just right*!

We are extremely satisfied with the result!

Great Work on Custom Plushie Production

EverLighten created a custom plushie to be used as giveaways at corporate events. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. The end product matched the design exactly with incredible attention to the smallest details. Throughout the process, there was very good communication with EverLighten. The product arrived ahead of time and to the requested specifications. It was also very successful, so we recently ordered more.

I sent a request and also sent an email to two different addresses. It said you would get a response within 12-24 hours. A week has now passed and I still haven't received an answer. I looked at the website and was very convinced of the work this company does, unfortunately I haven't been able to become part of it until now. I hope that can change after this cover letter.

Amazing Custom Roosters!

EverLighten brought LIFE's vision to reality. LIFE received our custom roosters, and they are amazing! Communication throughout the process was top notch and the items were delivered ahead of schedule. The roosters are made of the highest quality and the design was better than we could ever have hoped for. All of the kids love their Brooklyn Rooster's. They helped get our brand out to the public in an easy way and helped with recruitment for children of our schools.

Confusing communication, Excellent plushies!

TLDR; confusing communication, excellent plushie

Communication was a bit confusing during the project. There were many people I spoke with instead of a single point of contact. Additionally, the expectations one person would set didn't necessarily mean that's what happened. For example, I was supposed to receive fabric swatches before a decision about the colors however, I was asked to review photos of color swatches via email. Another example includes shipping the plushies to my house and not the office, even though we spent time discussing shipping and noting my office address.

That said, the final product is great! The quality is excellent, and my team couldn't be happier with the end result. I will consider working with EverLighten again.

Great customer service/goes above & beyond

Everlighten, and specifically Michael, were very patient and communicative as we tried to get our specific colors right. Helpful in answering questions and rushed to meet a deadline that was unfortunately not communicated well on our end. Great customer service! We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend to anyone interested in custom socks.

The perfect result

I wanted to provide a final update on our experience with Everlighten and commend them for their stellar work. Despite facing challenges in the middle, Michael and the design/manufacturing team that ended up working with us to fix the problems went above and beyond to create and deliver the product in perfect condition. The individual(s) who designed and sewed the final revisions were skilled and detailed in their work and should be lauded for the considerable effort they put into the samples, which shone through in the quality of the final product. We got exactly what we imagined and could not be happier to have these plushies in hand.

Michael leads Everlighten with integrity and I would not hesitate to work with them again or recommend to a friend, especially with Michael leading the project.

We wanted to create a plushie and were told we would get unlimited revisions on a sample. If you've created plushies before, you would know that revisions are a normal part of the process. However, on only the second round of feedback that I sent (and saying it was very close to what we wanted), the company abruptly decided to refuse to continue working with us. It appears that they switched management halfway through, or they were annoyed that the first sample wasn't perfect?

Now my 4 months of hard work on revisions, designs, feedback, and communication has gone down the drain and I regret ever trusting this company. Take these positive reviews with a grain of salt -- something strange is going on with this company, and unless you also want to risk wasting the most valuable resource of your life - your time - then stay away from EverLighten. It's not about the money. I just hope this never happens to anyone else again.

After filling out the inquiry form, I received a phone call from a representative within a few hours. It was an exceptional level of customer service that I had not encountered before. They assisted me in selecting the appropriate materials and colors for my custom socks and recommended options within my budget. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to receive my products sooner than the anticipated delivery date, which was the cherry on top. Overall, my experience with EverLighten was excellent, and I am eager to place another order with them.
