My experience with the Evlo Wimbledon…
My experience with the Evlo Wimbledon branch has been extremely disappointing and honestly one of the worst customer service calls I have had in a long time.
My loan was conditionally approved last Friday afternoon. I initially spent over half an hour on the phone with an operator based in South Africa before being transferred to the Wimbledon branch in London. The person I spoke with there already sounded extremely bothered and disengaged, as though he was simply eager to finish for the weekend. He briefly took my details and told me he would call me back on Monday morning to follow up. He never did.
I then had to call the branch myself on Monday at around 1PM, only to be connected to the exact same person again. While reviewing my online banking consent, he became adamant that I could not possibly be PAYE through my own company. Despite my repeated attempts to explain that I am both a company director and legitimately employed under PAYE with payslips, he continuously interrupted me and refused to let me speak.
The entire conversation was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He repeatedly talked over me, saying “let me explain, let me explain,” while clearly lacking understanding of a very common company structure. At no point did he allow me to properly clarify my situation or provide context.
Overall, the interaction left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and genuinely shocked by the level of service I received from the Wimbledon branch.

The staff member who I spoke to about my application was very pleasant and professional at his job . He explained everything in great detail and asked me if I wanted to ask any questions about the application and was I happy about his presentation of all that was laid out in the form . His customer service was excellent and so was the lady whom I spoke too later on that day . Such a lovely friendly team in Lisburn .

Offering good honest feedback to help me sort the problem. Once she helped me the process was so efficient and quick. I cannot recommend Evlo and especially Ashley enough. Calls and emails were answered swiftly and every step in the process was explained in full. Defined worth 5 stars for all round service. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Ian at the Bradford branch. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. He explained everything clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and made the whole application stress-free.
What really stood out was how quickly he got the loan approved and paid out. The service was fast, efficient, and handled with genuine care and professionalism. Ian went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted as quickly as possible.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for excellent customer service and people who genuinely knows what they’re doing. Thank you again for all your help!
Poor communication
Application submitted missed call called back 4 times no one returned call they closed application. Set me up with another person when asked why ( no explanation given ), called left 3 messages for them to call back, again nothing.
Really poor communication.
