Small business angel

Best payment solution we have ever used
Love eway! Being a small business, we looked into a lot of payment platforms. It needs to be cost-effective and flexible. Some platform charges more for a startup business, but eway doesn't! There is even no monthly fee so we just pay for what we used. That really helps us. Thanks for supporting small businesses.

Absolute crap
Absolute crap. No service. Impossible to contact them. No emails, No functioning "live chat", nothing!
Do not waste your time is you run a business.
Has made my online business easy.
"NO account!" during the COVID-19…
"NO account!" during the COVID-19 crisis, we are trying to set up some online sales channels. Because our business is affected by social distancing rules, eWAY will NOT set up an account!??! Morons obviously think the world will end or something. . . .
Their customer s
Their customer service is appalling. We went backwards and forwards for over a month with emails asking us for more and more information and they finally told us they are refusing all tourism business to join from now on due to the Covid19 crisis. Why not be clear and say all tourism business are banned from now on rather than keep wasting our time?
I suggest just finding another payment gateway and not waste previous energy with them.
Have you read the eway.com.au /legal/…
Have you read the eway.com.au /legal/ statement?
Rubbish.
Least in Australia, these statements are nothing but a blunt mislead. "Needed" by law!
Which law? Australian Law?
Another blunt mislead.
Even in China I am more secure and my data is all secured by the Chinese government.
Here in Australia, your data is sold on to 5th and 6th parties and beyond. This (Australian) government can't even stop the notorious phone harassment. Rather in contrary, they welcome it. It's all part of growing their capitalistic economy. Liars, cheaters, criminals.
And Eway Demands a full 3 months banks statement?
What? Excuse me? What the effen for? Why would you need to know what I bought from whom and who paid me, ...the last three months?
Why?
I tell you why, because your privacy policies are a rotten Aussie farce and it means "Business" to you. Business = Big Buck, so you give a F*** about my and the people I dealt with the past 3 months.
You keep your crap scam for yourself, dear Eway and I keep my and people I deal with, security "Safe" My Way.
These are My Requirements and my one only policy is very simple, too: I don't deal with crooks!
Terrible Service - No communication internally
I had no issues in opening my first account and i requested a second account for my other business. Received a call advising everything is good and account is active. Then I started getting emails from another girl(Natalie) asking for multiple documents statements and recent contracts , provided them and still wanted more docs show my financial backing for the company. laughable no communication between them internally and quite funny why they would want to see my Fin backing now when they never wanted to see all that for my main business which is like the one with a larger turnover. They get commissions off my business payments and we will always have other main options to take payments, so was wondering why the big fuss.
never EWAY - go with STRIPE
HI
I've been using EWAY for 1 year and then suddenly they suspended my account wrote me:
Please accept this letter as our formal notice to you that your account has been placed on a suspended status.
Following this date, Ezidebit Pty Ltd and eWAY will cease facilitating payment services for your business.
Now, I am with Stripe - much better service .
I strongly suggest Stripe and never EWAY!
eWay simply not worth the hassle
I have to say I'm surprised at all the 4 and 5 star reviews here. I'm a new eWay merchant and have only taken a dozen or so purchases through them, but each one has taken 6-7 days to finalise and land in my NAB account. This is way too long, other transactions land pretty much instantly, there is no excuse for such long delays nowadays. My partner sends me a payment from her Bank Australia account and it lands instantly, but eWay can't do it in less than 6 days?
Further, I have several transactions which throw up errors in the eway portal when I click on the transaction, the fee details part of the transaction details page for them is missing. Transactions before them are fine and display properly.
Then there's the help system. Emails to my account manager go unanswered, no response at all. Clicking on the "Success community login" button in the help tab lets you log in, but it just takes you back to the business portal front page, the community portal or whatever it is meant to be simply doesn't exist.
Then there's the contact us page. Under "Email us" there is an email link, but clicking on that gives the error "User does not have access to create a case". If I log out, it shows me the contact form, but if I'm logged in as a merchant I get an error? Seriously?
Then there's the real-time chat tab which is supposed to be at the bottom-left of the contact page, but simply isn't. All of the problems above are apparent in multiple browsers and on multiple PCs, so it isn't a browser/PC problem.
Then there's the deposit into my account this morning from eway for a couple of transactions, but they don't appear in the list of finalised transactions, but one from 3 days ago does, yet that money hasn't landed. Trying to match deposits with purchases is becoming impossible and more hassle than it's worth.
And another annoyance, deposits are done as lump sums instead of being broken out per transaction - why? It makes it much harder to reconcile transactions with purchases when multiple purchase funds are lumped into one deposit.
I really don't know what to make of the eWay portal, at the moment is is completely useless, so I've turned it off in my store and it will stay that way until this disaster of a portal is fixed, or at least until someone from eWay gets off their butts and actually responds to my attempts to contact them.
As it is, I would absolutely not recommend eWay to anyone.
[Edit]: After emailing the eWay sales email as suggested, sure enough, 3 business days later, no response from eWay, which just confirms my suspicions that there is something wrong with this company. The other glowing reviews here are so at odds with my experience, I have to suspect they are fake reviews...
