I bought an R8 ER32 collet chuck made by Omega. I found that there was a manufacturing defect with the draw bar thread causing it to bind up on the last few threads. I emailed customer service and Josh replied the same day. He asked for photos of the fault. He then contacted Omega and they sent out a replacement directly to me. Most companies say they have excellent customer service but its only when things go wrong you truly find out. So excellent customer service from EW Equipment and Josh.

After writing a review about the terrible customer service I received the company emailed mr explaining they seen the reviews and then decided not to return the goods I had returned that they deemed unreturnable. So basically weaponzing there position of trust.

If the goods are deemed not fit for resale my question is why have you not sent them back to me after I contacted you and asked for my product back

Poor poor effect

I’ve been using EW Equipment (ewequipment.co.uk) for a few years now, and they consistently provide excellent, friendly service with prompt delivery. They offer superb quality tooling, including their own brand, and can supply nearly any brand I’ve requested. While I did encounter a small issue with a 6mm plug tap not matching the photo, their customer service was responsive and offered a refund. Overall, very good products at reasonable prices and fast delivery. Would definitely recommend and use again. Four stars.

Can’t recommend EW equipment enough! I started using EW a few years ago when my haimer gauge broke and they were the only people I could find who would help me. Since then I’ve moved to using them for everything! Nothing is too much trouble! Their own brand tooling is superb quality and they can supply basically any brand tooling I’ve asked for!

I purchased an 6mm plug tap and the photograph showed a flat ended tap that would have been as described and ideal for the job.
However when it arrived it wasn’t flat ended but the same as the tap I already had.
When I contacted EWE they explained the flat ended taps only started at 8mm and the photograph was generic?
I was asked if I wanted a refund and I said yes but as yet I haven’t heard back?

Had very small fine cutters at reasonable price, just what I needed,Very good products and delivered very quickly.

I bought TiSiN coated endmills to replace ones that were getting blunt. These new ones are far and away better quality and much sharper than my previous ones. Being new to model engineering I have only used them for a short time on brass and they cut cleanly and leave a good finish.
Highly recommend.
