I highly recommend EWI Specialist.
Initial contact: Sebastian was prompt and professional. The quote was comprehensive and there were no hidden costs. There were some adjustments along the way and these were added with paperwork and an updated quote. I had previous quotes, EWI's quote was competitive and I was impressed by their approach and previous work. I was especially pleased to get the calculations to show the work would comply with building regs. They were fully insured.

Work start: When the work started, there was no let up. Only if it was raining heavily did it stall at all. Ladislav and his team arrived on time and worked tirelessly throughout the day. They were friendly and professional, tidying up each day. One thing that especially impressed me was their attention to detail. More than once I noticed one of them carefully working on a small detail I would not have even noticed to ensure it was perfect. Ladislav consulted me regularly to ensure I was happy with design choices he had to make. There was near constant communication. Sebastian paid regular visits to ensure things were progressing nicely and I understand progress photographs were sent to him regularly. I believe at one stage a small mistake was made and Sebastian made the team remove everything already done in that area and to do it again. Sebastian also specc'd work which could be considered belt and braces. I would not have noticed or known about any of this on my own and it gave me complete confidence that not only does it look great on the outside but underneath is properly done as well. Sebastian also kept an eye on other features of my property which were not within their remit but could affect the aesthetics and he brought this to my attention. He installed temporary mitigation at no extra cost until I could have the issue remedied which I have now done.
Afterwards: The end result was stunning. Our neighbours came over to say how nice it looked and I've had occasion to have tradesmen over for unrelated jobs and a few have commented on the high quality work, straight lines and sharp corners. Aesthetics are one thing and very important but what is more important is the performance. If you are considering EWI and have a cold house in winter and hot house in summer, I really recommend it. Even before the render went on, we could already feel the benefits, the house is so much warmer and retains heat very well so we have to heat much less. Once the house was sealed up and rendered the impact was obvious. A surprise benefit is that the house does not heat up as much when its hot out like it used to so it works both ways.
Overall: It was expensive, yes, but that's relative to the benefit of having transformed an ugly duckling pebble dash house into a crisply rendered swan. We did have some other insulation work done but the EWI was the primary reason our EPC went from an E to a B. Very happy.

I would highly recommend EWI, Sebastian and his team are hard working, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The work started earlier then expected and although one of the downpipes had not been replaced, Sebastian return on a bank holiday to complete the work - zero hassle. The work is of a high quality. I cannot fault them.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with working over 15 years in this industry, I warn you, look elsewhere...

Do not trust this so called company, the management are dishonest and awful to deal with.

If there are any problems or issues caused on their part, they do not accept responsibility and you will be left paying for it.

Best ever solid wall installation company

I had external wall render fitted on my house by Sebastian and his team. I was very impressed with the final results and the quality of workmanship.

They came onto my property without my permission removed my drainage pipe and replaced it back without the appropriate wall brace.
This was all done to my property whilst they were working on my neighbours property.
STILL WAITING for action to place my pipe in its original state !!!!

I am very happy with this company!! I do external insulation with them for my house, and mashallah the work is amazing quality. Very clean job, fast also, and the house look totally new.

We had to re-render our house due to damp and in order to comply with building regulations we also had to install thermal wall insulation. Sebastian and his team were fantastic! They were co-operative with the building control inspector. They carried out the works in line with their estimated time frames and estimated costs with as minimum disruption as possible. They were very communicative and were conscious to ensure we were happy with how the house looked once finished! Would highly recommend!

EWI have just completed the external insulation to my entire house. They are honestly the best tradesman I've ever employed. The work has been completed to the best quality. The service and care they provided was first rate. All works were completed in the time they said it would be, to the cost and like a say to a quality that's has exceeded my expectations. All warranties were issued straight away and communication with Sebastian and his team was brilliant. The work was tidy and they protected everything from mess and damage. I am already feeling the benefits of the system

Also a mention to everest scaffolding who they used. I work in construction and can honestly say, they scaffold they put up was the best I've seen on domestic work. Their guys were also great.

Our experience with the team has been exceptional. We insulated our entire semi-detached house in under 2 weeks. The quote was very competitive, and the work was done to a very high standard. Sebastian and his team were friendly, helpful and punctual to the dot. Sebastian came by several times to check the work and handled trickier parts of the job without trying to overcharge (like some other merchants tried to do that I quoted with). It was just an overall great experience - I just wished they also did loft insulation, as I would be working with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Sebastian and his team came on site as agreed and got right on with it. With one wall newly insulated, the difference in our heat saving is really noticeable. I would happily recommend these guys to anyone.

From start to Finnish They listened to my comments and explained each step. They resolved any of the minor issues sensibly and as they occurred. Excellent workmanship.

Workers arrived on time every day and left only when their work was completed.

There was a very minor issue which we discovered a few weeks after the work had been completed but someone came to repair the next day.
