I play Roblox competitively from the Middle East and connect to European servers, which are the closest/best. I tried multiple optimization setups, using ExitLag, but saw no real improvement in ping. Either my route is already well-optimized, or ExitLag didn’t help in my case. I expected better results, especially given the distance. (ExitLag being from what I heard, known to improve long distanced locations)

The app is very good and the support is also very attentive, 10/10

The lag is NOT Reduced, FPS is struggling with it running in the background. Ping is "maybe" stable at times, nothing drastically better compared to not having it installed. Overall it "doesn't" do as advertised, customer service is not existent, you have to put in a ticket and wait for an email, and you can't request a refund until they manually reply back.
Otherwise you need to file a claim with your card company, which most people prefer Not to do, just make it easy to refund, it's an obviously flawed product that cost a "premium" for what it claims to do, which is sometimes lower/stabilize ping and lag, and it didn't even do it half the time, those are the same exact odds as not having the service at all. - So, you have people paying money to do almost nothing, REALLY disappointing to see from a decent idea.

So basicly im having a German ISP "Deutsche Telekom" and they are known for having really bad peering especially to every single major Game Developer, with the exception of Valorant by the looks of it.
So because im suffering from Jitter in Counter Strike 2 i gave it a try but in all honesty, this isnt worth it.
Ping doesnt matter for anyone under Online Conditions, what matters the most is the Jitter and here Exitlag is a miserable failure too, because they arent actually properly measuring Jitter and they dont look like they are ensuring a Jitterfree Serverhost either.
It doesnt matter if a single Ping shows 11 milliseconds, if the Jitter in between those 1000 milliseconds within a single ping is varying between 30-100milliseconds for one or multiple Datapackets sent over UDP Protocol.
That said, ive found multiple Servers hosted by Exitlag that are so bad, that they actually make the connection and especially the Jitter issues way worse than it already is.
Like my Upload has usually 0-1ms Jitter, maybe 3-4ms every few seconds or so, so totaly fine and almost perfect network condition.
Running Exitlag over i.e. DE Falkenstein 01 Server it immediately kills the entire Upstream and causing Jitter well above 20-30 Milliseconds on regular basis.
That beeing said it causes issues in Counter Strike 2.
So in case you are looking for a good Counter Strike 2 experience which has absolutely tight requirements for Jitter (5ms Jitter at best for this game, otherwise it causes issues), Exitlag is not able to provide the perfection required to actually improve.
Maybe for some users it will cause an improvement if the connection itself hosted by the ISP is truly bad and useless to begin with but when seeking for perfect network conditions, such as reducing Jitter from 20-30 Milliseconds variation into less than 5ms, then Exitlag is failing just as much, as the ISP.
So in short having a stable 40ms Ping with 0 Jitter is way better than a Ping of 5 ms that has Jitter above 5milliseconds because those variations are actually causing problems in games, not the ping.
CS2 i.e. is so sensitive towards Jitter, that the client may freezes for a short period once you touch 20 milliseconds of Jitter in the Netgraph.
Players may teleport if you have too much Jitter in Downstream and if the Upstream is affected, then all of your inputs are affected and may lag back in time.
That beeing said, it doesnt look like Exitlag is ensuring a good Jitter of less than 5ms variation, servers look just as much overloaded, as in many other Services, that claim to be "gaming".
Edit:
So several times in a row by now ive also had Packetloss well above 40% inside the Upstream using this Service.
And Jitter Spikes around 90 ms in Downstream are also easily achieved with this service.
The Software didnt notice a thing and did not change the server either.
So basicly paying for nothing here.

Does anyone know how to get it for free?

Considering that I only had a three-day free trial of the program, I really don't want to write a bad review. I must admit that while the FPS boost does work (at least on my PC), it falls short of its primary promise of ping reduction. The ping didn't go down each time I chose a server and matched it in-game (Valorant) with the one the program recommended; on the contrary, it got worse. I didn't change the suggested settings; I just used everything on autopilot. However, I cannot even be certain that I was the cause of the problem.

Team help me to find problem with lag in my game.

Lag reduction works occasionally, sometimes not at all and sometimes it instead just stops your internet connection all together. Exitlags website is VERY laggy and trying to cancel the membership took several days of trying, even having to reach out to support because that part of the website just showed an error code. When it worked it took many minutes just to load.

Comprehension was sub-par. It had me wondering if I chose the wrong language option but I selected English correctly. Didn't even fully answer my questions and just went off of script it seems.

I was auto-charged $7.50 for a subscription I did not intend to renew. As a student, that money mattered. I noticed the charge immediately and reached out through email, Discord, and live chat — only to be told that because it was an autopay, a refund wasn’t possible under any circumstances.
Even though I acted in good faith and requested support within minutes, ExitLag’s team refused to help, hiding behind rigid terms with no room for exception or common sense. The support agent was polite but powerless — even escalating the issue wasn’t guaranteed to go anywhere.
I asked for an exception or at least human review, but was repeatedly told there’s “no option” to refund autopay renewals. This shows a clear lack of flexibility and empathy toward genuine users who make simple mistakes.
If you’re going to use ExitLag, be extremely careful with the autopay system. You won’t get a second chance — even if you act right away.

I had a very disappointing experience with this service. For some reason, using the program caused my ping to spike to over 300ms, while turning it off immediately brought it back down to around 5ms. Based on this, I can't recommend the service.

it's useless and not effective there's only a few server avaible mostly in germany , use cloudflare warp it's free and it does reduce your latnecy

I submitted a partnership application to ExitLag in June 2025, and as per their own communication, I was supposed to receive a response within 15 business days. It’s now July 1st well past that window and I’ve heard absolutely nothing back.
When I contacted their support via live chat, a team member named Vini instructed me to email at their partnership mail, assuring a response within 3 days. Again, no reply.
Frustrated, I reached out through ExitLag’s official Discord server and explained the entire situation. The staff member Croft responded with a copy-paste template, directing me back to the website’s ticket system something I had already used multiple times with no result. I explained this clearly, yet the issue was brushed off.
I tried using their website chat again, and this time Samwhite told me to re-fill the partnership form in mid-July and wait another 15 business days basically invalidating everything I had been told up to this point. Worse, in the middle of explaining the full issue, Samwhite abruptly closed the chat without addressing the full concern.
I then updated the support ticket with a clear explanation and mentioned that support was prematurely ending conversations without resolving anything. Shortly after, Croft closed my support ticket entirely without any resolution or acknowledgment.
To make matters worse, I was banned from the ExitLag Discord server without any reason. I wasn’t spamming, being disrespectful, or breaking any rules I was just asking for accountability. This is unacceptable behaviour from a supposedly professional company.
What makes this all the more disappointing is that I had already shared creator data involving over 100 gaming creators for potential collaboration. And this is how they choose to treat someone genuinely trying to build a partnership?
If there was an option to give a negative rating on Trustpilot, I would.
Summary:
* Ignored multiple support tickets and emails
* Gave contradictory and unhelpful responses
* Closed chats and tickets without resolution
* Banned from Discord for simply following up
* Disrespectful and dismissive support experience
Verdict: Extremely poor support culture, no accountability, and not a company that keeps its word. Would not recommend pursuing any partnership or creator relationship with ExitLag.
Unfortunately, Trustpilot doesn’t allow links or screenshots otherwise, I would have shared the full chat and ticket transcript.

I tried the 30 day free trial from the discord offer, and it was not even worth using for free. This genuinely did not help with lag or latency when gaming. In fact it felt like it was just another thing taking up power, reducing the claimed effectiveness. WOULD NOT pay for this. Stay far away from this.

While using ExitLag I started experiencing FPS drops which makes games unplayable. It definitely improved my experience when I uninstalled that.

Just redeemed the free month of ExitLag from Discord Nitro. I used it for Valorant and it worked very well for me. I live far enough from any Valorant server in my part of the world that the best ping I could get to the nearest one is 50-60. It’s been this way for years and despite having decent internet I would also experience lag frequently enough. Turned on ExitLag and my ping was down to 20-30 with no lag. I’d be interested in paying for it in the future however reading some of the other reviews about their scummy billing practices makes me rethink that. I’m interested in having full month-to-month control because I play Valorant in spells and I wouldn’t use it for any other game. Would even be willing to pay a higher monthly price for that privilege than that of a multi-month term, but now I’m actually just worried that they somehow have me locked in for a recurring payment via my account’s connection to Discord. This company needs to do the right thing and modify its billing practices - you’re actually scaring an interested potential customer away.

Actually made my ping worse, kept disconnecting me from CS2 matches, and the software felt cheaply made with AI generated images
