The experience was awesome. The people very helpful and the pilot truly amazing. I really can recommend this experience.

A horrible experience, from beginning to end.
To start off, you'd expect some enthusiasm and hype from the employees of a company with the name " Experience Events". However, the employees were not welcoming or friendly or enthusiastic at all.

A little bit of context: I've booked a helicopter flight as a present for my boyfriend's birthday. My boyfriend is a big man and I am pretty small. When I booked the flight, I expected a flight with the 2 of us. The only thing that was on their website was that a max amount of 4 passengers could fit in the helicopter. As I see it, that means you can go with max 4 people at the time, but if you book for 2, then you will go with 2 people. They also advertised with a flight so you could see Rotterdam. So what I expected to have bought was a flight for 2 people, from a location that we could at least actually see the skyline of Rotterdam. The reality however, was completely different.

When we arrived, our weights were asked. I was told that I could sit next to the pilot, in the front and my boyfriend had to go in the back , in the middle between 2 strangers. My boyfriend is 1,95 meters tall and wasn't even able to sit up in that specific seat. I asked If it was possible for him to swap with me, which was not possible because he was to heavy. However, after our flight, another man, who was obviously heavier than my boyfriend, went into the seat next to the pilot. Then why was my boyfriend to heavy?

During the flight itself, we haven't seen anything of Rotterdam. We flew over some new houses and solar panel fields in Zevenhuizen, which is a really lame view.

When I contacted Experience Events to tell them my complaints, they told me they would contact me 2 or 3 days later. On day 5, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called them again. A few hours later I've received an email where they basically said I should be happy that I had a place next to the pilot at all, because normally that would've cost extra. They also said that if I had wanted a flight with just the 2 of us, I should've bought 4 tickets. And they said " region Rotterdam" does not necessarily mean you will actually see Rotterdam.

Worst Experience ever. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

I won two vouchers from VakantieVeiling from Experience Events. One for a helicopter ride (won two of those) and one for a Ferrari ride. The plan was to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. Let me tell you I regret this 100% what a headache. After winning I went to redeem the vouchers and found out that you have to pay an administration cost and fuel cost. I found out later that it did say that in the auction however how are you supposed to read all that when you have two minutes to win but okay that's fine. Then later I find out for the helicopter you need to pay extra to fly together and extra to fly on the weekends (same with the Ferrari). There were so many hidden costs they literally try to get you to pay for everything. Then there are barely any dates available. The customer service is not helpful at all. I have my reservation for the helicopter for 2022 now and my boyfriend and I will just fly separately on a random day during the week I guess. Then for the Ferrari ride we just cut our losses because it will end up costing us the same amount as if we were just to buy it from the site between the insurance, the gas, the administration fee, riding on the weekend etc. This was such a mess I regret it so much. DONT FALL FOR THIS. Book through an actual legit company.
