I have had the most bitter experience with this Expert Joinery company. They demanded I pay 50% before they put the order through. And was promised the lead times will be between 4 to 6 weeks. It’s 3 and a half months now and we keep being told stories. And what’s even more shocking is that they don’t seem to care a bit. After all they’ve got the money so they can do what they want.

My wife saw a bad review on them and we hesitated but felt maybe this was just an isolated incident. Little did we think we were about to have the worst and most deplorable experience of our lives.

I have dealt with so many companies. This is my very first ever review on any company. Expert Joinery Ltd definitely have a very damnable customer care approach, even if they ever care about any customer except of course, the customers’ money.

I will have to report them to trading standards.

Please avoid this company.

Avoid this company at all costs!

I had purchased a single steel door on the 20/01/2023 from Expert Joinery Ltd which was fabricated and manufactured in Poland by company called Ekookna. I was requested to pay the full amount of which I had obliged to pay. I requested to pay by credit card but the member of staff that was taking the payment had said that the card machine company would charge them hence a BACS transfer was more efficient and cost effective for them. I then transferred the payment to their account. Please don't make this mistake!
the member of staff explained prior to payment that their lead time a quicker than expected at the time saying its was "3-4 week", I expressed I required the door by the 16/02/2023. I was notified by the individual who informed me of the payment terms that there was a delay, and it was still in production on the on the 16/02/2023 and that they would expect it in their showroom on the 27/02/2023. On the 28/02/2023 I asked them if I could send someone to collect the product from their showroom, the same representative reply to my message with quote " Good morning, they didn't arrived to us." which I found laughable as they didn’t notify me of any updates and I had to make the initiative to request an update. I asked if they had "Any Ideas when?" they replied with "I will let you know" I asked if it was collected... they did not respond to message. I sent a message asking if everything was okay on the 1/03/2023 as I had not received any update. after back and forth the rep sent a message that they would be picking the door up on the 24/03/2023 of march from Poland and they would receive the door on the 27/03/2023. surprisingly the 27th had passed and I had still not received any update or the product. I communicated my frustrations on multiple occasions with no response. I then spoke to trading standards to follow procedure to request refund, all communications were ignored by Expert Joinery Ltd. the reason I had ordered from this company was that I had previously worked there and thought i could trust them. on the 11/04/2023 they said Quote "As per our company's refund policy, we can offer a refund of 50% of the order value as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. While we
understand your expectation for a full refund, we hope you understand that the delay was not a result of any fault on our part." it is unfortunate that they don’t not have the knowledge of how consumer rights work and that it was a breach of contract.

The company is not to be trusted as they had sent an email to my current employer requested my credibility if I was indeed employed at the company, And also claimed I had " signed important documentation on behalf of the company director without proper authorization, resulting in legal consequences and judgments related to fraudulent activities." without any evidences of such a claim. It is unfortunate as they have divulged all their lies by email and is black and white. The company I currently represent did in need clarify my position in the company and express their actions as false and that defamation charges will be made should I not receive the refund or products. They changed their tone and expressed that we could collect the product on 18/05/2023. I shall be taking the company and its Director to court for Defamation and damages.
I finally was able to send a third party to pick the product up today on the 19/05/2023. After multiple emails to there Manager who has been trying to use Ai to generate email responses and failing to proof read before sending them explaining we will be taking them to court.
Avoid this company at all costs, I shall be posting reviews on all platforms in order protect all consumers.
It is clear they have been posting fake google reviews potentially paying for them as well. Which is hilarious.
