I had applied for a UK spousal visa coming from Canada- my husband is a British citizen who had been residing in Canada the past 20 years when we met 9 years ago. We decided to sell our home and move back to the UK to help his elderly parents. We had suitable finances but didn’t quite meet the financial requirement after all of our moving expenses. We applied at the WORST possible time when they had just tightened immigration rules. My visa was rejected which was absolutely devastating as we’d already shipped our pets and all our belongings over and had rented a house. We didn’t think it would be an issue as we had substantial savings, my husband is a British citizen and I am Canadian. We were very wrong. We had Sonal as our solicitor who was very calming and told us we would appeal and have it reviewed again. The whole process has taken almost a year but the original decision was overturned and my visa was granted. Sonal was able to guide us in every step of the process. She answered every question we had immediately and was incredibly thorough. Expert law is a joke i will never use them again

I had a worst disappointing experience with Expert Law Initially, their eagerness to have me as a client was evident through their constant communication. However, this enthusiasm abruptly vanished the moment I made the payment.

From the onset, I clearly explained the full extent of my case yet I was assured by their lawyer that a fresh application could be pursued. However, a few days later, they informed me that the application was, in fact, impossible—only after they had already taken my money.

Additionally, the firm's lack of attention to detail is concerning. Despite providing them with the necessary documentation, they submitted it without checking for errors, including spelling mistakes. Even the contract I received upon entering into an agreement with them was riddled with errors, such as incorrect applicant names and place of birth.

Throughout the process, I received no updates nor feedback on the status of my case. The lack of communication and professionalism left me feeling neglected and frustrated. I would not recommend Expert Law at all based on my experience.
