Confidence to explore different ways to teach my kids

This is an absolutely invaluable approach to 'Learning'. LOM offers comprehensive guidance and support to enable crucial priorities in the approach to learning for the overall health of our children, that although being superficially addressed, are overlooked by mainstream education.

A wonderful and supportive place to learn how to bring out the natural talents and gifts in our children (and ourselves!). Our children are happier and more confident, and we have learned so much. Highly recommended.

Lights On has been an incredible journey so far. We are only new but I can already see the progress in my children's learning in terms of their lights switching on and shining bright! We have already had a family shift, too. I'm excited for things to come.

Best support I’ve ever come across, look at education through a different lens, supporting parents as well as children of all ages.
This is about learning how to and how important it is to let children make their own choices. As parents we get in our kids way, offloading our insecurities onto them, causing all kinds of difficulties for children and parents also spoiling the relationship between child and care giver.
Times are changing! School offers one size fits all! So when school is not working for your child, “lights on” may be just what your looking for, it’s changed my life, now I see how the learning process is far more important than the end results, my kids will be set up for life, with the mindset that will help them overcome what ever obstacles land in their way. Rather than relying solely on grades to get them through life.
Amazing experience with an incredibly knowledgable and supportive team of people, great resources, support for the whole family not just the children.

The Explorium Lights On programme has opened my eyes to a whole new way of learning for my whole family. The practical, detailed activities provided and the great level of support have been invaluable in shifting my focus away from old school thinking and towards new ways of developing a great mindset and ownership of our learning. An extra plus is the tribe of parents all striving for same thing and full of support ideas 😊

I joined Explorium's 'Academy' about a year ago. I really loved their approach to learning through kids' passions. We started working our way through the material in the training portal, which is really well structured and gradually builds up a new way of thinking about learning for you and your children. The real value for me though has been through the Facebook group. By posting regularly whenever you're stuck, you get copious support, advice and coaching from Julia and her team. Be prepared though- about half way through the year I realised I was posting about me as much as my child. It's definitely a learning curve for the whole family, not just the kids: you need to be prepared to see that you could be holding your kids back, and learn new responses and behaviours. As a home ed parent it's really reassuring to have Julia and explorium to help us get to where we want to be.
